Just saw Fury last night and enjoyed it.

I agree it's not the same old Bills but this isn't a Ralph personality issue, it's more got to do with the life cycle on the ownership side.
-
This is NOT the first time the Bills have put themselves out there. Do some research on the Cornelius Bennett trade.
Your thread title offends. Ralph deserves more respect.
Agree absolutely.

Fred's cap hit is only 2.7M and he does everything well; he's a team captain. No way he gets cut unless his legs fall off.
This .
If you think he is shot think about the Chicago OT last season. He isn't a number one by a long shot but he is very productive for us.
-
For me, he has. He is trying to create a roster that can make the playoffs. They were closer without kiko than they were with him. They could have gotten there with a better running game. They lost by 2 Pts to Oakland on a day they ran for 13 yards as a team. They failed to run the ball in all if their losses last year and it further affected already mediocre to worse QB play. Let's face it, Whaley has a set.
This. He is aggressively pursuing the bits we need to compete. We all loved Kiko but the Bills have desperately needed offensive help the last two years and he has been adding playmakers and linemen. We still need a QB but they have brought in 3 "best available" at the moment players in the last two years (note that doesn't mean good)
-
I can't believe. But a few year back posters on this site were complaining the Bills were too willing to stand pat. Two years in a row Whaley has swung for the fences saying it's time to win now. We were 9-7 last year Whaley isn't willing to shoot to repeat that.

Hi I am in medicine PM me if you want credentials. Do you think a cardiologist whose awakening about the "truth" about vaccines came when his new chiropractor wife "educated" him is the most reliable authority on vaccines.
Can you think of two "doctors" whose jobs require them to know less about vaccines? Neither of them would _ever_ give a patient a vaccine in most parts of the U.S. Neither of them is likely to _ever_ deal with a patient suffering from a vaccine preventable illness.
There are literally thousands of physicians in this country strongly advocating vaccination and you are listening to the one outlier whose career puts him in the worst possible place to understand vaccine preventable illness?
We aren't going to change your mind- but go read any reputable source. i posted several in the previous flu shot thread.

I was there. Just a great time

Just for a bit of Rams history

Maybe he is cleaned up. But Hard to root for a guy who taunted _his_own_teams_ fans. Let's see how that plays out his second time in Buffalo.
-
Oh, I'm not arguing there's no chance the light came on- simply that we see a lot of "screw Martin" sentiment in discussions around the guy as if it was the only issue with RI. He's got a long resume of trouble everywhere he's been since 18.
Like I said, little downside and maybe he works out. Only risk I'm coming up with while spitballing here is not liking him around Henderson
100% agreed.
And kudos to the OP

I thought it was interesting. Also how many defensive coordinators are former fairly high profile players. Obviously LeBeau but I can't think of anyone else though Bowles I beleive was.
While he was a cowboy I did think his old heavy bag routine after a big play was pretty darn cool. Particularly as it was in honor of his dad.

Good movie for someone who loves football. It's not genius but I always watch it when flipping through channels.
-
It was losing its steam incrementally but I did enjoy them.

Rex Ryan makes an appearance.
-
No passing tds for Manning Brady Rogers. I wouldn't hold the lack of ppints against him with this defence.
To my eye he looked better then Orton/EJ would have if facing our team.
-
Another vote for Bob Mathews.
-
Still mobile confident accurate. Kid is a rookie facing our pass rush and still was able to generally keep looking downfield.
-
Proud of the win but Garoppolo's play in a vanilla not fully staffed offense was very solid looks like the future of the Pats is looking good even after the Brady era.
The win was nice but I would like to have seen this kid look terrible so at least there was more post Brady hope.

Nice post OP appreciate the comparison.

Whaley is probably the biggest asset in the entire franchise. The Bills would be insane to let him go. How many GMs in the league can you say have made as many brilliant moves as he has over the past 2 years?
-Getting Kiko in the second round
-The Jerry Hughes trade
-Preston Brown, Corey Graham
-Finding Robey as an undrafted free agent
-Thigpen and Rambo
Kiko and the Jerry Hughes trade would be enough to him in the "some of the best moves of any GM over the past 2 years" category. The rest is just icing on the cake. Preston Brown has played every defensive snap as a rookie and is looking like a steal for us. Graham has played above his billing in the secondary. Robey has turned into one of the best slot corners in the league. Thigpen and Rambo have surprised me these past couple weeks.
Whaley definitely has an eye for hidden talent.
THIS.

So if Stanton ends up out for the rest of the season after his Thursday night injury how much would the Cards be willing to give up for one of our QBs?
I still think Manuel might pan out (might) but I would be willing to trade him off in the right situation to a desperate cards team. Tuel obviously goes cheaper.
First or second for Manuel in this situation? If the cards are down to their thirs string they may be willing to do that.
