No, Bob. That’s not accurate. What’s happening here is individuals are choosing not to engage with content they find poorly reasoned and nonsensical. The content is permitted to exist, and anyone who wants to engage with it is free to. It’s nothing like cancel culture, or the deplatforming that happens on campuses. This would be like people who don’t care for a particular speaker choosing to not go to their events. You have an absolute right to your dopey opinions, and to express them as you see fit. You don’t have a right to make me care about them, treat them with respect or dignity, or to engage with them in any meaningful way.

All Roads Lead to the Ukraine

And the Browns, and the League. Force then to disavow Garrett. Destroy him. Forever. Cant go out in public without everyone knowing he’s such a low character liar that he tried to destroy another man’s character (and thereby his livelihood and life, and that of his family) without people mocking him and rejecting him.

His best hand was contrition, not lying, casting vile aspersions against the character of another man. I hope he’s sued for everything he’s worth, and then never plays again. Rudolph should also go after the Browns organization, and the NFL. Force them to disavow Garrett. Destroy him. He’s garbage. He deserves garbage.

Actually, it can, and it is. First of all, geo-political jockeying with adversarial nations is not synonymous with war. All actions taken by our government in relation to other governments fall under the direct purview of the Executive Branch, the final decision making of which resides solely in the hands of the President. This even applies to “war”. As you should know, the President is the Commander in Chief of US armed forces. He has absolute final say over any and all military decisions. As to war making powers, those were ceded by the Legislature to the Executive decades ago. We haven’t had a Congressionally declared war since WWII, though we’ve been in continual armed conflict pretty much ever since. In fact, the War Powers Resolution of 1973 simply requires the President inform Congress within 48 hours after committing armed forces, and only requires their withdrawal after 60 days, with an additional 30 day withdrawal period. Further, this provision has never been followed, nor has any successful legal action ever occurred in its wake. So, no. You’re wrong on pretty much every front.

Why do you think it’s better if more people participate? The entire act of voting is an exercise in designed futility, and is anti-freedom, based on the priori assumption that society is best served when there is an elite ruling class, and a peasantry requiring a heavy handed ruler to tell them what they must do. In the United States this is worsened with the reality of a binary false choice argument; which is actually nothing more than a curtain hiding the true machinations of the power elite. None of this can be fixed by the franchise. Further, what are the merits of encouraging low IQ voting? Of encouraging the ill informed or the disinterested to participate?
