  1. The safties were about a second late all night, but purely in regards to cornerback play, they were schemed to not help the corners.
  2. You dropped your crack pipe. It's over there --->
  3. #worsethanlastyear #notdeveloping #sameoldproblems #27yearoldrookie #chriswenkie
  4. Thank you. Much appreciated.
  5. I wasn't surprised. I felt he was at or near his ceiling as a 5th year player, and now the league has a year's worth of film.
  6. The word you are looking for is "hyperbole". The Hyper Bowl is the game where the Super Bowl champion plays against the NCAA champion using a combination of indoor and Canadian rules to determine the undisputed champion.
  7. Exactly. How many times has he completely shut down a guy in isolation, making sure no throw was possible to his assignment.
  8. Yes, he is. He had a bad game, but so do they all. He's worth the money.
  9. No. It wasn't simplified. The cance... Err... Ryan brothers (cancer) stopped sending any more than 3 pass rushers in the second half of the game, and rolled up their safties into an underneath zone, leaving the corners 1-1 with their assignments, where they were completely mis-matched by much larger receivers in isolation in 5-7 second chunks. It wasn't simplified, it was poorly schemed.
  10. You get what you pay for, and Kim Pegula paid for the cance... Err... Ryan brothers (cancer).
  11. I love Kelly's arm, but that's about it. He's careless with the ball, lacks maturity, is not a leader of men, and has considerable character issues. He's where Ryan Leaf meets Jeff George.
  12. The fish rots from the head down. Because of our ownership situation, the team was horribly mismanaged for years, leading to a toxic environment which talented players and coaches wanted nothing to do with. Finally the Pegula's took over, but haven't improved things largely because they aren't football people, but they insist on making football decisions; once again leading to toxic outcomes. You're talking about symptoms.
  13. After watching the All-22, I don't know that Rex could have dialed up a worse scheme in the second half. He committed only 3 pass rushers on about 75% of second half snaps, never sending more than four, and combined that with rolling up his safties to an underneath zone, putting both Darby and Gilmore on isolated islands with very talented receivers who had them by about 5-6 inches in height and 35 lbs in weight. Darby and Gilmore are more than good enough to shut that down for 3 or so seconds because they are both freakishly physical and athletic, but because of the scheme Rex ran out there, they were routinely asked to lock down Marshall and Decker for 5-7 seconds, affording a completely unmolested Fitz to lob them "go get it" ball after "go get it" ball. And the Ryan "brain trust" never adjusted. Rex must have had the entire Jets offense in his Fan Duel team. It's the only reason I can come up with that he would toss out what he did.
  14. Sort of puts things into perspective.
  15. He was a second round pick. Every team "missed on him" at least once.
  16. To early for that. I'm looking for information.
  17. What's up in Chelsea in the City? I'm hearing all kinds of things.
  18. College Junior. Threw an impromptu back shoulder thow. Didn't work, so next play threw a 13 yard window throw anticipation pass to his second read over the middle. TD
  19. He has been very impressive. I'm almost speechless at how good he's been. What are you watching. New: Incredible.
  20. You're very "loud". Please don't take what I'm about to say as an insult. You're a passionate football fan, and I can appreciate that. What you should do is go watch some coaches film with people who know how to read game film. You should go to the local high school, and tell them that you're willing to work for free, that you'd like to be an assistant positional coach, and that you'd like to learn how to coach and break down film; and would they possibly be willing to teach you. And if they take you up on it, shut up and listen. Be a !@#$ing sponge. Back to the game: Huh... Knows how to use angle and leverage to take on tacklers in a "must" situation. Hadn't seen him (Kizer) in a situation like that before.
  21. This kid is the real deal. Perfect placement all the time.
  22. He has no idea what he's talking about. Just ridicule him like he deserves, and move on.
  23. Calls an audible with 5 seconds on the play clock because he doesn't like what he sees on 3rd and 6. Gets the play off. Nearly gets the first. Says the dope who has the single worst record of QB evaluation I've ever seen, likely has never broken down college game film at an "it matters" level, and isn't watching the game.
  24. This kid really knows how to feel the rush. And there's an anticipation throw
  25. LOL fair
