Prior to this year Tyrod had made 851 pass attempts, this year he's made 28. I think it's unreasonable to make judgments about his development based on the 28.

You're aware that Tyrod has played games like this over the past two years, right? And when he has, we've either won, or had a chance to win? Tyrod is a game manager who can give us a chance to win when the defense plays well, and we stake ourselves to a lead, which allows us to run the ball, take time off the clock, and dictate the pace of the game. What he hasn't shown the ability to do yet, is do the above consistently, or to put the game on his shoulders and carry the team when the defense isn't playing well and we find ourselves in a shootout, or when we are playing from behind neutralizing the benefits of our run game. Also, one game is far too small of a sample size to form any opinions about Taylor's development. If you're this ready to crown him after last week's performance, will you be equally ready to savage him if he doesn't play well in upcoming games? If the answer is "yes", then you shouldn't have been giving him this kind of attaboy for such a small sample size, and if your answer is "no", then you're arguing from emotion rather than common sense. Pump the brakes a little.

That's the left excusing their own bad behavior. What he's really saying is that his preferred politics are facts that shouldn't be disputed, and therefor are acceptable to push in moments of crisis, while opposing view points need to shut up because it's impolite to talk politics during times of crisis.

Tyrod was a good version of himself on Sunday. He was accurate when he needed to be, and climbed through the pocket on his way to his scrambles which gives him more opportunity to make plays as he has the entire field, instead of half the field as happens when he bails out the side. He's played like this before, and when he does he gives us a chance to win. Make no mistake: Tyrod did not put the team on his back and carry them to a win. He did not dominate the game. He was good, and he made quality plays when he had to, but this was a team win. And even with that said, this isn't a new version of Tyrod unless he can do this all season. He's had "this game" before, he's just been unable to do it consistently.

It is possible that I misheard the broadcast, but I think they made it as a statement of fact.

Incredibly irresponsible presentation by the announcers in the Packers/Seahawks game on Fox. Just stated on the broadcast that Bennett was "singled out because of his race and was then the victim of excessive force by the Las Vegas police".
