  1. Well, this might be the dumbest thing I've seen here in a while.
  2. Nevermind "obvious" and "overwhelming", there isn't even and "unconvincing" or "circumstantial" evidence.
  3. We should just go ahead and cancel the rest of the world just to be on the safe side at this point.
  4. They already have everything they're asking for, and they know the exact involvement of everyone named. This is Brazile's chance to come clean and get some degree of leniency for herself.
  5. I assumed it was a clever way of saying "Tyrod out" given that it's a Bills board.
  6. It worked out well for BP I'd say.
  7. It's certainly reasonable that President Trump might wish to fire Mueller if a) the President did not engage in any illegal activities to influence the election, b) and felt the Mueller was working outside of his mandate, looking to personally damage the President and his family, wasting tax payer dollars in the process. It's also reasonable for him to have advisors convince him that would not be politically advantageous. And that's if any of this even happened, which I highly doubt.
  8. A terrible shame he doesn't get to exit on his own terms. He gets a very sincere thank you for his time and leadership while he was here, and for being part of the core who ended the drought. Glad to see him get a chance to play in the post season before he left.
  9. We really can't stop at this point. The truth of the matter is, that given the information now coming out, either the DNC, the Clinton Campaign, the Obama Administration, etc engaged in highly illegal activities weaponizing the US intelligence agencies against political enemies and then attempted a coup to cover up their crimes; OR Congressional Republicans and President Trump are weaponizing those same agencies to enact a coverup. Both of these acts are treasonous, and one or the other is happening. We need to sort it out, and through the process those properly alleging treason must be permitted to do their patriot duty to prosecute it; while the other party will certainly loudly protest and distract while their crimes are being exposed.
  10. There's a term that's been popularized lately to describe organizations, outlets, and even stories themselves which purport to convey actual news to their subscribers, but actually report untruly. What was that phrase again...
  11. There are multiple Allen threads in the College Football sub-forum linked at the top of The Stadium Wall.
  12. He's giving them as much rope as they need to hang themselves and everyone involved. He has the evidence, and gave them the opportunity to be forthcoming, but instead they continued a further cover up, which is criminal in and of itself, and will lead to further cleansing of the department.
  13. It varies from person to person if all assets can be protected. Not all types of assets can be protected, but not all people have all types of assets. Further, not all types of assets should be protected. The creditor has a right to collect on what it is owed. It rendered services, and spent capital. None of this changes, however, the fact that bankruptcy is a protection. It is a good thing.
  14. Did I read that wrong, or does Grassley say here that the FBI tried to up the classification level of the memo in question to prevent it's release?
  15. It's all fruit from the poisonous tree. Even if such evidence exists, if it was gathered under the pretenses of the Russia Investigation, which in an of itself has shown to be a criminal fabrication, none of it could be used. Further, Mueller can't do what you're saying without implicating himself in the coup attempt and cover-up. I very much doubt he's willing to head to the gallows to leverage the President.
  16. I'm constantly amazed by the lack of due credit people who dislike President Trump give him in this regard. The man has shown to be one of the most politically adept individuals the country has ever seen, taking down the two largest political dynasties in the country, mastering a new medium of communication, winning political battle after political battle, and making those who consider themselves to be his enemies dance to his tune.
  17. The memo is not a silver bullet, it's the beginning of a long look down a dark tunnel which needs to be illuminated, which will exonerate President Trump, and implicate many big state actors. However, for political reasons the release cannot come from Trump. Is has to come through other channels.
  18. Let's not equate trying to overthrow a legitimate government with allegations of calling shithole countries shithole countries. Trump will come out of this looking like Trump, which is what got him elected. Those attacking him are going to come out of this wearing orange jumpsuits and nooses.
  19. The last 100 years haven't been decreasingly capitalistic, while these recent tax reforms are a step towards being more capitalistic than where we were before them. Under capitalism, skilled labor is a finite resource which employers must compete for. Employers realize that financial incentives are excellent for this competition, and with more resources available, they are now able to better invest in their work forces.
  20. I'm not interested in convincing you of anything other than the fact that you invalidate everything your say when you pontificate from areas of obvious ignorance. You're perfectly entitled to whatever opinions you want to hold, but if the purpose of talking about these things is to allow others to vet the merits of your positions in order to influence their own, you aren't winning over many considerate minds.
  21. Then perhaps you should shut the !@#$ up instead of making comparative references to something you're completely ignorant about?
