  1. As a Rhode Islander, all I can say about the issue is that I am currently planning my exodus, largely due to the onerous tax burden it imposes on me, which will not be helped by the new tax overhaul which will prevent me from deducting my absurd level of blue state taxation; but that my exodus will absolutely not be to Connecticut. **** burger vs. turd sandwich.
  2. It undermines national security in the sense that if this level of corruption and malfeasance is uncovered within the FBI and DOJ, it taints and delegitimizes every single investigation they've participated in since the beginning of the corruption and malfeasance within those organizations. It also fundamentally undercuts the legitimacy of the Federal government itself.
  3. "I love the smell of Nancy Pelosi covered in napalm in the morning!"
  4. How does original source funding somehow mitigate the fact that a sitting President weaponized the US intelligence apparatus against political opponents in an attempt to fix an election?
  5. Alinskites more specifically.
  6. Service Unavailable HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.
  7. No one who get's into that environment in DC has managed to do so without playing very high level politics.
  8. When you lost your sense of humor did you file a police report, or did you only just now discover it missing? You know what I detest? Muppets, new to the arena, who interject themselves without understanding the context, acting like cunts in the process.
  9. By "Jack" I assume you mean Hillary Clinton, and by "a horse" I assume you mean Seth Rich. So, really, both are completely believable interpretations.
  10. Neither are grammatical errors.
  11. No. This is what happens when you add water to Ruth Bader Ginsberg:
  12. /Greg Maybe it wasn't that kind of interview, and maybe it wasn't optional.
  13. I'd prefer to let the strength of our Law, and the protections it affords, shine bright. The best way to defeat the bad is to smash it with the good, demonstrating the purpose and value of the good.
  14. The argument you make to them is: "!@#$ you. You don't get to dictate to the world how they will live by undoing the concept of free and fair elections just because you don't like the outcome. We don't live in a monarchy, and we won't be hectored by your thuggery. History has a place for despots like you, and it's called "the hanging tree". I can either have freedom, or your false moral preening, and I choose freedom. End of argument."
  15. Which is why it isn't being used as political fodder. There are no leaks. This is being used to secure convictions and send people to jail (or to their death), not to score political points and influence elections.
  16. bull ****. You really think Hillary won't have him suicided for that performance?
  17. It's certainly their prerogative, and no one is saying they shouldn't be permitted to. What it seems people are saying is that being a celebrity doesn't somehow imbue their positions with wisdom or quality; and that those individuals are given access to their platform only if they parrot a very specific set of opinions.
  18. I believe that men (as in all of humankind, for the snowflakes among us) are defined by how they respond to the most important circumstances they encounter, and that doing better than people imagined they could under trying circumstances is an incredible positive. As I said, I don't believe Donald Trump was a great man when he entered office, but he's growing into that mantle.
  19. He's probably the most politically adept person I've ever seen. He took on, and soundly defeated, two political Dynasties, both major political parties, and the Chicago political machine whike the election was being rigged against him. Then survived a coup attempt complete with massive disinformation campaign waged by our own intelligence agencies using a complicit media; and mastered a new medium of communicating directly with the public to his direct advantage even though the owners of that medium were also complicit in the deception. it's been incredible to watch. You all know my history here in regards to my positions on the President, but I am now revising those positions to say the following: Donald Trump seems to be exactly the President we needed in these times. I don't believe he was a great man at the time he entered into office, but he certainly seems to be answering History's bell, and if he continues on this arch may finish in the pantheon of leadership standing shoulder to shoulder with men like Washington.
  20. Leftists have been doing this **** pretty much since there started being leftists. They believe in things like single party states where the government and party are one and the same, and the only debate is about in which terrible ways to go about !@#$ing up the lives of the populations they dictate to. They're really not a that different than monarchists, and trying to prevent their !@#$ery is exactly the reason we have a Constitution in the first place.
  21. If the memo says what I believe it does, it means that our government was opperating as a banana republic, attempting to hold fraudulent elections, all while assuring the people that we hold free and fair elections and subscribe to self-determination, the key to a free society.
  22. They wouldn't even let the other committie members read it before voting.
  23. No, but only because the Rolling Stones didn't attempt to overthrow the duly awarded Billboard rankings.
  24. I'm pretty sure it's the government's job to make sure schools comply with federal law. The last time I checked, the NCAA wasn't an enforcement arm of the federal government.
