  1. It is a horse **** thing to say. Again, you're excusing the bad behavior of the guy who threw the first punch, and complaining about the people who hit him back because you agree with him politically. That's a "you" problem.
  2. So this thread is open to propaganda?
  3. That's a horse **** thing to say. All opinions are welcome as long as they are intellectually honest and reasonable. Look to posters like TPS, Doc Brown, and Deranged Rhino as evidence of this. (Deranged Rhino is a left leaning former Democrat with a libertarian bent who works in Hollywood.)
  4. If you don't want to get punched in the mouth don't throw the first punch, and don't cry when you get punched back. No, you aren't. You're playing team sports, and supporting the person who started it.
  5. New thread was necessary because he disabled comments. Stop papering over bad behavior.
  6. This thread is a parody mocking intellectual dishonesty. Go to the root of the issue. Gary created a poll thread forwarding a logical fallacy as a talking point designed to be derogatory in nature. He decided, when called out for this, to delete the thread because he didn't want his intellectual dishonesty discussed, to delete the thread and to recreate it disabling comments. His poor behavior created the situation. Don't paper over that because you generally agree with his view point. It does a great deal of intellectual harm to your position, and makes further conversation impossible.
  7. I get that you differ in opinion with lots of people in this thread, and that's OK. With that said, don't you believe it to be desirable for people who share your opinions to be intellectually honest in their public presentation? I would hope so. It is tremendously harmful to an argument when it's presenter is caught being dishonest in it's presentation. Even if the argument is you're making is correct, adding elements of dishonesty to it do it harm, and make it less persuasive. No one should celebrate dishonesty and intellectual cowardice. It downgrades the entire conversation.
  8. You knock his community organizing background as relates to military prowess, but Hezbollah never enjoyed more success organizing in our domestic communities than under President Obama. He got that **** done.
  9. Being an employee does not preclude you from first being an individual.
  10. Employers do not have the right to the labor of their employees. individuals do not exist for the benefit of employers. Individuals exist to follow their own desires to their own ends, and are not obligated to make themselves subject to the whims if their employer, or to their employers various contracts. If an employer does not engage with his employees in a manner which they find acceptable to produce labor for him that is his problem, as he does not have a right to be profitable or reputable.
  11. I just finished reading the document. He is absolutely !@#$ed.

  14. Careful there, Gary. We wouldn't want the President grabbing women by the garybusey.
  15. Read about him, the man himself.
  16. What's the matter, Gary? Struggling with the fact that you've been made to take responsibility for your action?
  17. Correct and agreed. Gary usually has a pretty good sense of humor, and I catch myself laughing at his posts, but when someone does something that craven and intellectually dishonest they deserve to be called out on it. Satan out to the early lead in my 5 way intellectual honesty poll FYI. Gary and Herodotus bringing up the rear with zero votes apiece.
  18. You beat me to the punch! I think mine is funnier though.
  19. Poll only. No propaganda.

  20. No, it would be like you choosing not to hire someone who said they were going to use your business as a platform to promote their Second Amendment views, which is not their right to do.
