  1. Poetry in motion, brought to you by the last MVP in any sport, ever:
  2. I don't think anyone should ever be awarded an MVP in any sport unless they've hit Mike Piazza in the head with a fastball, and then thrown a shard of a broken bat at him. Period.
  3. That's a fairly accurate description of most of the major cities in New England to be honest. I was being serious, by the way. During rush hour the breakdown lane, where you expect to find disabled cars, and where slow moving traffic merges onto the highway, is opened up as a high speed traffic lane.
  4. Things like this are bound to happen in an area where the break down lane is also the high speed lane.
  5. My point is that I don't believe individuals should be systemically discriminated against because of their ideas, period. Full stop. No one should have their job threatened because of their politics. If you, as an individual, choose not to give someone your business because of their beliefs, that's fine; but trying to organize others to no platform them is the antithesis of a free society, widens the divides between us, and will lead to real political violence as a consequence.
  6. I'm of the belief that people are entitled to bad opinions, and I'm also very uncomfortable with the idea that it's beginning to become socially acceptable to destroy someone's life financially over a disagreement of ideas. No, freedom of speech does not protect you from social consequences, but should social consequences constantly be an act of war against our political opponents? I don't think so. The concept of no platforming is the antithesis of a free and open society predicated on the notion of individuality; and just as much as we have laws which were intended to prevent the government from treading on us, we have the responsibility as the custodians of the concepts of freedom and liberty, which is intended to be intrinsic to the culture that binds us, to honor that platform ourselves in our daily lives. Disagreement should be spoken, not silenced. Tolerance.
  7. Perhaps if you had any idea how the English language works, and knew how to diagram a sentence in order to understand the ideas being conveyed, you might understand the Second Amendment. Instead you're demonstrating that you're functionally illiterate, and are making the same case for the powers of government that our Founders threw off. I haven't side stepped the issue at all. Your lack of skill with the language has tricked you into thinking that I have.
  8. The reason the suspect had access to guns is because guns had already been invented a few hundred years ago, and laws that criminalize guns only keep guns out of the hands of the law abiding. !@#$s like this who seek to kill people aren't discouraged by the law. We know this because we have laws against killing people, and he broke them.
  9. I believe the reporting was that there was a joint venture wherein a percentage of all money donated to the DNC went directly to the HRC campaign, but yes, that was reported.
  10. Translated : "I believe that there is a good argument that the government should be able to compel individuals by force to fight and die for the things the government wishes them to, and I also think the government should be able to prevent people from opposing them from doing so." Said every monarchist ever.
  11. Sounds like a grooming academy. I wonder how many members of NXIVM sent their own children there, given the demographic.
  12. It's not my Pizzagate video. It's Edward R. Murrow and Emmy award-winning investigative journalist Ben Swann's Pizzagate video.
  13. Many more children have died after, during, and before being raped as a part of what I'm discussing than the handful of Americans who died in Benghazi. Countless magnitudes more.
  14. Is anyone surprised by the fact that the boards resident barnacle thinks documented, factual accounts children being raped and murdered is chuckle inducing?
  15. For anyone who doubts the existence of pedophile/human trafficking rings among the elite:
  16. That's a gross misrepresentation of everything surrounding the Podestas and Comet Ping Pong. And I'm pretty sure you know that, which leaves me wondering why you'd present it that way.
  17. Comet Ping Pong never left that arena. They aren't being dragged anywhere.
  18. For anyone who understands the realities of the "gender pay gap" myth, this is intuitive. CEOs, male or female, very likely demonstrate the personality traits of high achievers, and have made similar decisions in their life choices to enable their high achievement. Else they wouldn't be CEOs. Where as most women do not exhibit the personality traits of high achievers, and have made more traditional female choices in their work/life balance, which accounts for nearly the entirety of the gap.
  19. It was an unConstitutional law in 1951, and it's still an unConstitutional law. As much as I dislike both Antifa and the Klu Klux Klan for very similar reasons, they have the right as free people to wear masks.
  20. I think a Q thread would add a ton of value. Q is going to be very historically relevant, and there will be a Q thread at some point because of it, so we may as well get out in front of it, and make it educational.
  21. You know that I'd be for it. Also, Tor? The browser bundle, the high fantasy publishing house, or something else?
