Well, that depends on what the goals are: Are you hoping that the goals are the continued weaponization of our intel services against political opponents, this time by Republicans, plunging us permanently into banana republic status; or are you hoping that the work being done leads to air-tight prosecutions, putting an end to the !@#$ery, and restoring the Republic?

That's the very definition of sedition and treason, and it's not hyperbolic at all to call for a gallows to be constructed.

People have the right to believe anything they want, and to identify as anything they want. However, belief in something does not make it true, and I am comfortable saying that indulging people in their fantasies, often in these sorts of cases tied directly to mental illness or emotional trauma, does them far more harm than good. As such, while they have the absolute right to their thoughts, they do not have the right to mine, nor to have their thoughts override empirical data or biological certainty when addressing societal norms and structures.

I'm painfully aware of the arguments, and I disagree with them strongly. The conflation of gender roles with gender itself is problematic, as it's derivative from a flawed intersectional model of a ruthless power hierarchy (hierarchies exist, but are not defined exclusively, or even primarily, by power). Self-identity is even more problematic, as it rejects biological imperatives and empirical data in favor of anecdote and individual experience, which is, by nature, limited in it's ability to properly define the world.

I would posit that you won't see it for what it really is. The Palestinians must learn to operate in their realities. They are not where they are because Israel did something to them. They are suffering as a result of their own actions. They insist on engaging in war, and they are losing. Badly. Further, Israel is performing a just function in slaughtering them when they engage Israel in war. Ghandi's path is their only way to peace. Their current path is one to justified extinction.

While there's some validity to that, I'd ask that you consider economic impacts on the value of human life in a society.

The Israelis are not obligated to endure casualties, mass or otherwise, before eliminating hostiles. End of story. If Palestinians don't want to die then they shouldn't engage with the Israeli military. The rules of engagement have been changed.

When teenagers band with other protesters, and engage in violence against a military, they're going to be among the casualties. And, no. That's not what your facts lead to. That's where you're trying to steer the narrative with several cherry picked facts, taken completely out of context, in order to bolster a lie.
