The Supreme Court rules on the law, not on what we wish the law was. The Executive executes the law. The law is written by the legislature. The Court was designed to be a check on executive action in exactly this manner. It has ruled that the Executive is being compliant with the law, within it's Constitutional mandates. If people don't like the law, they should petition their legislators to change it. This is how the system is designed to work. The fact that people are upset because out government is following the law is telling. Same old fight: republicans vs monarchists.

You're talking about the interruption of the supply of food, water, and energy. If you empower the government to selectively enforce who has their rights, then they aren't rights. They are privileges which the government can at any time revoke. Congressional Democrats understand what the real issue at play is: human trafficking. They are actively throwing up road blocks in order to preserve the free flow of actual slaves, most of whom are children into this country. This is a global enterprise worth billions of dollars by official government estimates, which are low by magnitudes, as they have no way of truly calculating black market impacts. The people who control this global market are wealthy, powerful, and extremely well organized. Like every other billion dollar industry, they have lobbyists who buy politicians, and enrich them to support their business agenda. This is no different. Those in Congress who are protecting the racket are profiting directly from it.

They eat their own. Insufficient willingness to do violence and engage in anti-social behavior in order to deny the peaceful transfer of power will not be tolerated.

And this: Is a placeholder for the proper response to your dangerous stupidity. Democrats will go to jail for attempting to rig the federal election. They will go to jail for FISA abuse, and corruption within our intel agencies. They will go to jail for attempting a coup. They will not be jailed for their political beliefs. They will be jailed for committing crimes against Americans by denying them self determination in violation of dozens of laws.

I responded for a very specific reason, which I think you'll understand better than most; and I feel the response was important.

Any of them who are guilty of actual crimes? Absolutely. That's what we do in a society constructed upon the rule of law. And is coming, with some certainty. For engaging in thought crimes, or ex-post-facto law? Nope. That's unconstitutional, and abhorrent. There's a massive difference between the two: The first is the legitimate role of government. The second would be the taking of political prisoners. You're trying to muddy the waters and co-mingle the two ideas on purpose, because you know what's coming, and you're a dishonest actor.

What is your point? That wearing a stupid t-shirt is the same as no-platforming, and violence? Or is it that because some people who believe differently than you act stupidly that it's a good thing to escalate your own stupidity to the threshold of violence? Or is it that since some people who believe differently than you act stupidly, that everyone who believes differently than you must be a deplorable racist whom it's ok to incite violence against?
