  1. I'll take a look at it. I don't disagree, at all, that the tenants of liberal democracy are frail for the exact reasons you put forward. Franklin refined that belief better than I ever could with the simple statement, "A Republic, if you can keep it."
  2. That's exactly correct. It's about undoing the Enlightenment, and reverting to a time before human rights, and liberal democracy. I've said it before, but it's worth repeating, it's the same fight we've always had: it's a battle between republicans and monarchists.
  3. I have long said that the penalty for making false accusations of rape or assault should carry the exact same criminal penalty as rape or assault. (No, this does not mean that accusations not leading to convictions should lead to the prosecution of the victim. It would be a separate criminal statute entirely, where the burden of proof would be on the accused to prove that the charge was knowingly fraudulent.) This accusation comes no where near passing the smell test and deserves all of the scrutiny it's receiving.
  4. A man asks, in what sounds like a fairly polite way, a known sex worker for sex, does nothing untoward, does not force himself on her in any way, is rejected, and goes away. SCANDALOUS!
  5. I think you're projecting here.
  6. I see the problem. You seem to think this thread is for substantial contributions. I suggest rereading it, and then modifying your expectations.
  7. Also, what the heck is going on here? Is this guy arguing with himself? Tremendous. This thread delivers.
  8. I've got to say, this thread really has the potential to see the OP spiral into full-meltdown mode. So far he only gets a 4.5/10, but he was only at a 3.5 before accusing another poster of having a small penis for pointing out issues with his grammar and spelling. I see potential and will be staying tuned. Nowhere to go but up!
  9. On the upside, I guess atheism and agnosticism are things of the past?
  10. I never heard it described that way. What I heard, and read, was that under the ACA and other systems of universal care, unaccountable government bureaucrats, and doctors working under the direct guidance of said bureaucrats under guidance of the law, would be empaneled to make care decisions related to end of life based on the rationing of care and resources being more effectively administered to people who were not old or sick.
  11. The "government death panels" wasn't inaccurate. It's an ominous name used for political impact, but that they exist under systems of universal care is an absolute fact.
  12. Which is horrifying, because donbb = peace out = Gary Busey = birddog, who is a freaking doctor. A doctor. Dumber than gator. Practicing medicine. On people. Horrifying.
  13. He's going to delete it, but we can have Darrin reinstate it. It's not gone forever.
  14. The reason Trump was recruited to run by high ranking members of the military intel community is precisely this: He was close enough to the elite that he knew their inner machinations, but he was not one of them. He is a billionaire many times over, unlike other career politicians who seek office to enrich themselves and create a legacy, so he couldn't be bought with money. And given that he's the President, he can't be bought with power.
  15. Incorrect. You'd simply have to believe that they are an imbedded power structure working at the behest of globalists, and simply became lazy in their arrogance after so many years in power.
  16. That will be very difficult given Page's employment with the FBI working to take down Russian spys; that and the fact that he's a free man walking around with no charges ever brought against him in any capacity.
  17. My only major concern, outside of the !@#$s robbing their neighbors, is the nuclear power plant right on the coast, which has reported "unusual conditions".
  18. This is such tragic news. My prayers for the family, with the hope that they'll be able to focus on, and remember, the joys that she brought to them and not be consumed by the grief. God bless.
  19. Gary with more lies. The accuser should absolutely be heard, under oath; in order that the accused can meet his accuser, per the hallmarks of liberal jurisprudence. Also, BeginnersMind should feel free to voice his/her thoughts; but should do so with no expectation that he/she is insulated from his/her own actions and choices when it comes to tone and civility. IE. When you act like a !@#$, expect to be treated like a !@#$.
  20. This is exactly why I called you a liar, and mother!@#$ed you. The post you made, which I responded to, contained absolutely no civility, and was steeped in passive aggressive horseshit, and dismissive and intentionally prejudicial language; after which you had the unmitigated gall to accuse me of not being willing to engage. Again, you reap what you sow; and you sowed mistreatment, then stooped to blaming others for treating you in the same manner you behave. Your act is tired.
  21. He's not interested in the fundamental natural rights which lay the foundation of liberal democracy. He's a fascist.
  22. It's fair to liken bigots to bigots. Especially when it serves as a mirror they can examine themselves with. It's very similar to when I named you a hack and a liar for acting completely apart from the behavior you advocate for. You're welcome.
