  7. The messenger doesn't matter. It's the message. Your message has a poor reputation, Ms. Abbott. For that, I again thank you.
  8. It's pretty much the entire purpose of UN humanitarian programs.
  9. No, it's not. I provided you with a very recent and specific example of the English and EU court system refusing to allow a patient care which, absent a "government death panel" they would have been able to obtain. It wasn't grand standing at all. It happens. I've provided you evidence that's how those systems actually work. You might not like the language, which was loaded for political impact, but I leave it to you to explain to the board how Charlie Gard was not an example of a "government death panel" in action.
  10. Individuals should be able to obtain the care they can afford, can be helped to afford through non-compulsion, or that others freely chose to provide them with. They should not have government panels telling them that they will not be permitted to receive that care.
  11. No, because insurance companies aren't run by "unaccountable government bureaucrats, and doctors working under the direct guidance of said bureaucrats under guidance of the law." I'll give you a recent example: https://pjmedia.com/parenting/2017/06/29/baby-charlie-denied-life-by-british-health-system-eu-courts/ Even if an insurance company denies coverage, they aren't denying you treatment or care. Government run systems actively refuse to allow care to be administered.
  12. If my wife came to me and told me she had placed down $5k on any kind of wager, win or lose, we'd be headed for a divorce. You'll be lucky if she doesn't leave your stupid ass. (not you, the OP)
  13. I never understood people who value their own time so little that their willing to waste the fruits of their hard earned labor on games of chance.
  14. The overwhelming majority of individuals whom are apolitical. Relevance?
  15. A third would be, if after referring to your second, finding that they have not violated any federal or securities laws (of which I am unsure), to pass new laws making whatever past behaviors were problematic illegal going forward.
  16. To approach them, and their stated intentions, with tremendous skepticism proceeding forward, questioning both their motives and morality; and resisting putting them in places of power where their secret desires might easily be actualized.
