People need to remember that Allen is a rookie. He has a ridiculously high ceiling because of his athleticism, arm talent, work ethic, and intelligence; but he's raw and everyone knew that going in. Last week was a glimpse of what the future is, but we need to be patient with him as a fan base. The sky is not falling. It's in the exact same place it was last week. I hope your wife gets to deal with a situation where she is very publicly charged with a heinous crime like child rape, which she did not commit, and as a result her life, and the lives of you and you children are destroyed. Social Justice Warriors will tell you there are no differences between men and women, while at the same time insisting that there are fundamental differences between men and women. The truth is that men and women are chemically different, and have different pathologies. When it comes to the extremes of those pathologies, things that tend towards deviance and criminality, men at those levels tend towards expressions of violence. Women, having evolved differently, tend towards different types of deviance. The truth is that the overwhelming majority of men are outside the scope of the dangerous parts of their pathology.
