What everyone forgets is sports is entertainment. Supply and demand. Brees can provide something all our fat 's can't. Regardless of whether it is fair or not, the NFL is huge multi million (more like billion) dollar company. They wouldn't be where they are if everyone could throw on pads and launch a ball 65yds to a streaking receiver. It is unfair to our troops, and doctors etc, but its reality. Its comparing apples to oranges. The NFL would be like XFL if it put everyday people out on the field. The revenue Brees brings into NOrleans far exceeds what he makes. Carrington has done ZERO TO IMPRESS ME, i cant see him keeping a roster spot. Troup may be serviceable and i agree with you there (this is his last chance to show it though). I dont know anything about Gilbert (best case scenario for him sounds like practice squad). I like Heard though. So Id cut Carrington, Gilbert, and Dwan if it were up to me. Spencer Johnson knows the defense, Heard has something in the tank, and i think you gotta give Carrington atleast one more year (if hes injured hes gone next year). I guess this is a good problem to have

On a side note, I was in Indy on business last year and got to see a week 3 preseason game against the Packers. That stadium and arrangement is a dream. Its beautiful on the inside. When they open the window on the front of the stadium it is the coolest view of the skyline. Great stadium right in the heart of everything downtown

It doesnt officially count, but Brad Smith for the Ravens. He didnt win it all, but took the team far. He was far from flashy, but good enough to get the job done. I think if you plug Fitz into one of those teams, you would get just as far as Dilfer or Smith... Atleast lets hope so!
