  1. Spiller's own cheerleader Gailey took him out for Tashard Choice half the time. He's not insanely good. He's a one trick pony, who isn't all that great at his one trick, and his one trick isn't all that helpful to winning football games. I would put $10 grand on Spiller not finishing his career with a 5.0+ YPC. average. You're basically talking up Andre Ellington with Bills blinders on. Never forget. https://vine.co/v/OqB9YQxv31M http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000000449924/Kyle-Orton-fumbles-Patriots-recover
  2. Let me know when career average correlates to W/L. I swear, you'd argue that Losman is a dynamic QB because his completion percentage on 80 yard passes is the same as Montana.
  3. He hits homeruns on 5% of carries brotha. Spiller has more fumbles than rushing TD's. Does that rival the best RBs? One great year and 4 where he was either hurt, benched, or a back up. Simple statistics. The more Spiller plays, that average drops.
  4. The new OC's system is one for power backs. Frank Gore type.
  5. 2% homerun ability and dropping.
  6. What's with you and these false dichotomies and spins?
  7. Clearly, Manuel needs to improve on his deeper passes, as there’s a sharp decline in his completion percentage on passes twenty or more yards downfield (30.2 percent in 2013). 35 percent of the 43 deep attempts were on target, while another 30 percent were overthrown. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/buffalo-bills-analysis-all-22/2014/5/28/5755028/ej-manuel-stats-classifying-rookie-season-incompletions I don't think so. And yes. Thad and Tuel both have a smaller sample size, and I have reason to believe they completed more passes per attempt over 20 yards than EJ.
  8. The same goes for the pro-Rex crowd. He's boisterous! He's got swagger! He doesn't like Belichick! He'll bring his swagger to this team!
  9. Huh? Tuel and Thad threw better deep balls than EJ. So a few good plays, and he can be Eli Manning, a surefire HoFer. I wish I was that optimistic.
  10. Bulk stats do not tell the whole story. If EJ's accuracy is on Tanny's level, explain his completion percentage to WR's. Please. Also, what in EJ's game reminds you of Eli Manning?
  11. Because they had the #1 run game and #1 defense.
  12. So, two examples over 25 years? It's definitely difficult to predict what Osweiler/Dysert have, but the smart money is on neither of them.
  13. I think everyone has this fear, which is why they announced the possible OC early.
  14. Sure they do. But 50-3 against Seattle and SF also count. Chan calling for Fitz to throw 20 yards downfield with the lead against Tennessee counts. Scoring 14 down 40 to inflate your offensive numbers in that 2012 season opener against the eventual 6-10 Jets counts.
  15. Bingo. A few folks here apply how the Bills looked at the 5-2 start under Chan to his whole regime. An inaccurate picture to say the least.
  16. Yep. Bills can't be forced to be on Hard Knocks this year. They can still opt in to it.
  17. What? Specific plays? I can cite specific games and thirds of the season where the Gailey offense didn't work. Your post should be, "imagine Gailey's offense of the second half of the 2011 Pats game and this D?"
  18. What are they gonna do? DDoS Sony's network in protest?
  19. While I tend to agree, Rex also had the luxury of taking over a 9-7 team, while Schwartz got an 0-16 one. It's close enough that I could really be swayed either way, and there are clear benefits of promoting in house.
  20. What would be the difference if Schwartz was promoted?
  21. I completely agree Dean. Unless Rex turns this defense into a historic 2000 Ravens or 86 Bears defense, I don't see how he helps us. Some say, "well at least we don't have to worry about our defense." We were top 3 last season with a garbage offense. How could you be worried at all? Our defense is not the problem. Our offense is. And we're in the exact same situation we were in two weeks ago, needing a top flight OC and more talent on offense. To me, this is like the Packers hiring Chan Gailey as HC. What is even the point?
  22. I think Rex is the type to not want to impose, but the Pegulas put their collective foot down and got the best. From what I hear, they don't spare any expense just to keep themselves from stepping on anyone's toes.
  23. Should be pedicured.
