  1. I wonder what Doug Marrone felt the "truth" was about EJ.
  2. Clearly not, as he had the second lowest sack rate of his career.
  3. He was also the 13th most hit QB.
  4. Again totally agree. But if trust was a number, Kromer is starting at 40, while everyone else is at 50.
  5. I get it, and there is a certain level of plausible deniability in the "how would he know" category. I just find it almost too convenient that Kromer's "story" and the buyer's remorse story came out on the same day in the same article. And like you said, one is being frustrated at the QB's mistakes and the other is, we really screwed up with keeping this guy. Which are totally different animals in how they come across. Sure. But there's bad reads then there's "he's killing us." There's admitting others' mistakes and then there's blaming. IMO, it falls in the second category.
  6. Do you think trust is not important in the coach-player relationship?
  7. Not never. But certainly not right after. Do you think the players are going to be lining up to confide in Kromer?
  8. What's your explanation on the whole thing? Do you think Kromer was the fall-guy?
  9. Making a point does not mean I'm equating. But someone screws up and it's going to affect how you see them. I think it's delusional to think Bills players are going to be as trusting with Kromer as they would be to another. Just like murderer's are never trusted to, you know, stop murdering.
  10. So he admits to bashing the QB, just not that one little piece? Does it really matter? Luckily, in this world, you get total forgiveness for mistakes and everyone carries on like it never happened. Murderers say they're sorry, and it's gravy.
  11. Can you show me the link? I only remember the "buyer's remorse" thing.
  12. Kromer was the leak. The onus of the entire story was on him, including the "buyer's remorse" crap. Without Kromer, that circus never happens.
  13. How would you feel if Hackett "made a comment" that the Bills regretted drafting EJ? Forgetting the resumes for a second, of course.
  14. Warning: language.
  15. Players can play for 15 years sometimes. What's the average job length of an NFL HC? Many players get guaranteed money.
  16. Wins have nothing to do with the team around you. Just a QB stat. Still more playoff wins than any QB in Buffalo.
  17. Take sides like Marrone vs. Pegula?
  18. Call me when a Buffalo QB gets close to 30 TD's please.
  19. That's not hating. Everybody and their mother wanted him to get out of bounds. Even EJ knew he screwed up.
  20. I know that with 2 opportunities to hire quality DC's, he hired two of the worst in franchise history.
  21. If Chan was HC, we would've never had this defense.
  22. I suppose that's possible. Either way, EJ could've gone out of bounds past the first down and he wouldn't have had to worry about them retaliating.
  23. But Green Bay beat the Steelers...
