  1. He's Da'Rick 2.0, hopefully he doesn't screw up his chances.
  2. EJ was running down the sidelines. He's 6'5" 240, going low is sometimes the best way to tackle a big guy. I see the Bills do it all the time to opposing tight ends. And celebrating after hitting a QB is also not a unique occurrence.
  3. I heard there's some team with $30 million in cap space and a QB away from a run.
  4. Relevant. http://www.sportspickle.com/2013/11/trent-richardson-unable-advance-hotel-elevator-doors-close
  5. It's called suspension of disbelief.
  6. It's a numbers thing, I bet. If Mario does his job perfectly and sets the edge, and someone else makes a tackle, it gets less points than Watt bull rushing and making the tackle himself.
  7. Most yards on the Bills in 2014. Best RB blocker. Leader on offense. Captain. No need to cut him.
  8. Why do we keep mentioning his rookie year? No one is pointing to that. Let's talk about him being afraid to throw passes to his WR's in his second year. That's more pertinent.
  9. Players cannot see crusading. Agree with the other two though, I'll always cheer on a guy in the Bills Uni, even if he sucks.
  10. Why not look for both then?
  11. I don't tweet at EJ, or boo at him at games. Unless he has ESP, he has no idea how I feel about him. Sure. We'll get right on that. It's easy to do. There's always a Gronk and a All-Pro guard just sitting around.
  12. If EJ is checking message boards, he's already done. All we need to do is get a top 5 defense, a dynamic TE, a great O-line and a great running game, with some dynamic WR's and our QB will be okay? Sounds good!
  13. I didn't make that point. The point I made was that you can't hold the coaching staff accountable for wins and losses while they're playing to "develop" a guy and have him learn out there as an inferior QB. But they were held accountable. It was sort of a catch-22.
  14. If EJ is supposed to be "molded" then we still need to look elsewhere for a QB. He should've been a five year plan and not seen a down. Although, I do enjoy this talking out of both sides. Many folks on this board believed Marrone and Co. should've been canned if they didn't go at least 9-7 last year. I even did a topic. This was pre-Orton btw. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/167876-what-record-saves-this-staff-dooms-them/ So, back then, prevailing thought was that if the 2014 Bills didn't go at least 9-7, they were all canned. And now EJ's still raw, needs more time to be molded, still needs to develop. No. You don't get to predict a coaching staff getting axed at 9-7 and ask for a second developmental year. That's wanting contradictory things. And it's wrong. (BTW, not calling you out specifically, just a general point.)
  15. His big TD was the result of a broken play. Speed and route running?
  16. This got off track... Carr gets too much love though. I think Teddy will be better.
  17. Having a different opinion than someone on an issue is inherently the same as thinking their opinion is wrong. Or else, you'd think they were correct and agree with them. In order to have the opinion that the casts were a push, you must not think the 2013 Bills cast was better. Ergo, his opinion is not correct. You didn't spell it out, but it's a fundamental part of contradicting opinions.
  18. You told the person you responded to that your opinion was that he was wrong. "I think EJ had a better cast" "I think it was a push" = "I think EJ had a better cast" "I think you're wrong" I wasn't trying to be rude, the way you worded those lines in that post just sounded funny.
  19. You argued it was a push. Sorry, I just think that's so insanely biased and incorrect.
  20. I suppose you could say EJ had bad coaches. I mean, Tony Sparano is much better than Marrone, am I right! Love that Sparano man. Wildcat never dies.
  21. It just makes me laugh. "I wouldn't say EJ had a better overall offensive unit...Chandler dropped a couple passes." Just funny stuff. As if a Chandler drop means that the 2013 Bills offensive unit (2nd in rushing, yada yada) is anywhere close to the 2014 Raiders. Gun to your head, SJ13 and Woods vs. James Jones and Denarius Moore. Pretty cut and dried. And another funny one. SJ13 got hurt. Not like the Raiders RB's all went on IR after week two.
  22. EJ's receivers had drops! Clearly, Derek Carr never dealt with those!
  23. Yes who cares if the 11 guys on defense giving an All-Star effort have to live with constant turnovers and losses. They just can't wait to be variables in some experiment.
  24. He was running down the sideline. It happens all the time. QB is a RB there.
