  1. My rotten Chester friend, if you believe that, you could say the same about Bruuuce, as he absconded the idea of Boselli being placed in the HOF. I agree with Deon it has been watered down, but to publically say it is too much. I don’t think Bruce should’ve said what he did on insta either. Show some class. BTW, you know I’m just kidding with you. I almost always like you’re posts.
  2. He will my fellow Tampan originally and always at heart Buffalonian. I think we keep maybe 5 CB’s if we know Tre is ready. A couple will potentially be trade bait like McLoud and Lewis. I like them, but Bedford and Elam are locks. Backup safeties is an interesting battle. These next three weeks will be fun. One thing I know, In Beane we trust!
  3. I know DC. I was just kidding. It will be harder agree to stash guys on the PS. It will guide some of their decisions as they pair down to 53.
  4. Our roster is so deep now, it makes complete sense to use two 6th RD picks in the last two years for a fantastic kicker and now a GOD at Punter. It definitely adds so much to flipping the field when we do have to punt. It’s a great day when we never see Ariaza, like the Cheats game. When we do need him, he’ll deliver. I don’t expect him to punt every time over 80 yards, but it’s good to know he can do what 31 other punters have never demonstrated in regular games. The most I’ve seen in the past is in the 60’s.
  5. Although I voted no, I would be fine with one series in game 3, but that’s it. Figure out this week who is our depth.
  6. Hodgins in the beginning of the year, and maybe Shakir if he produces in the next two preseason games, and I think they are serious about considering OBJ. If Shakir works out, they may cut Crowder. I trust these guys so they’ll make the right call.
  7. Don’t be afraid. That just means we have a talented roster. I was laughing thinking the same on the water slide. Hey if it helps Dabs, and company rebuild that decrepit team, and win a few more this year, then great. I gave up my hate of the Giants after SB XV when they beat the Cheats twice in the SB. Now I want with their GM and HC to at least get to 7-10.
  8. I am in the same boat Donuts. Just glad he kept the AFC streak going after Namath shocked world with an AFC 3rd SB win. The 70’s were then dominating the SB showing they were just as good as the NFC with the Steelers, Dolphins, and Raiders.
  9. I only see two options. Cleveland trades for him once they come out of their delusion and realize Watson is gone for the year. Second, they don’t and SF cuts him and Seattle picks him up. The Jets would be suicide especially because their shiny toy in Wilson won’t be out long.
  10. Niagara, consider as I’ve now lived in Tampa longer than growing up in Buffalo, Brady was always going to use Gronk first. He also had Brate, their starting TE since Howard had his Achilles injury. I don’t think he’s a blazer in speed, but should add something to the 12 personnel option. Knox will always be the #1 option.
  11. That was the exciting thing to me in Dorsey’s offense. Switching from 10 to 11 to 12 to 21 personnel could make offense even better as Daboll was a bit predictable starting the 21 year, and then started getting more dynamic. We should’ve beat the Steelers. Now we have a pass catching RB, two TEs when needed and our typical three wide sets. That’s not to neglect Motor who hopefully will see some playing time and even Moss for some 3rd and 1s. Im not afraid of using Allen in some running plays, but should be few and far between.
  12. You nailed it NE. If his speed doesn’t start coming out, the notion of 12 personnel is seemingly smaller and smaller.
  13. I could get so colorful, but then I have to apologize to Chandman forever. Befkre 2020 I stated to grab him when Star was doing his idiotic thing. He was the 5th best run stuffing DT according to PFF and he was cheap. He’s going to be great. Between him and Jones, with Oliver next to them, and Avon outside I don’t think people know what we are in for on a positive side. it’s also going to make this secondary look even better if that’s possible.
  14. Not sure what’s shocking about it after 5 years with these two. these guys will be fun this year.
  15. This happens every year. There will be some more after next weekend. They already kinda know who they want. They just want confirmation.
  16. Thats the problem with Cleveland. They have a ton of space this year, but will be tight next year. It’s why they probably will give Jimmy G. a modest contract like Carolina did with BM, as there is no way Watson won’t have his suspension extended for the rest of the year. Goodell knows his predatory behavior is a huge, huge black eye for the league, and he would be right.
  17. Beane looks like a genius how he did that deal early with Allen and Tre for that matter. The Bills in this regime don’t seem to let their star players twist until the end. That’s why I wouldn’t be surprised if Knox is extended before this season. Next year Oliver. I think they drafted the LB to become Edmunds replacement and let him walk.
  18. I don’t think they are going outside unless it’s to secure OBJ and rehab him in our team facilities. Hodgins stays on the 53 until OBJ is ready maybe in the beginning of November. Then they move Hodgins back to the PS. Seems like a logical move. I’m betting OBJ wants to win another SB so he can market himself next year for a $17-20 mil. deal. This year they can move $ around for a partial year with him and use that cash over cap thing that Andrew Brandt always talks about on his business of football pod cast. Brandt is actually very informative and loved his Wednesday morning stint on Ross Tuckers morning show on NFLR. He used to have him on W mornings at 6:30 am until Tucker left NFLR. I never heard what really happened, but there were rumors he was fired, and also he left on his own. His podcasts are pretty good as well.
  19. I had the game on yesterday, but also was doing something else so did anyone see where Dorsey was yesterday. Id guess he’ll try both places in the preseason to figure out what he likes more. I’m guessing his job is a little easier from the booth as you can see patterns from the opposing defense.
  20. I’m not sure what people want from him. Yes, he was a 1st round draft pick, but he played in a man press coverage system. He has the intangibles to make it. He just needs to learn the Bills system. Bews keeps coming out positively about Tre’s potential return for the Rams. I wouldn’t doubt they place Dane on the other side for the Rams. Elam will probably work his way into the staying role in a month or two into the system.
  21. I like you’re list, but I think Crowder might the one missing on musical chairs. We are flushed at slot and starving at outside WR depth. Hodgins might play his way into a job. At least that’s what I saw yesterday.
  22. I’m not a big fan of OBL as I expect some balance. Howard & Jeremy are decent, especially Jeremy, and having Joe now in the morning is working out. The extra point show is the best of the WGR shows. Forget about the tools in the afternoon. OBL comes across like a propaganda machine for the Bills. I think the Bills own that show. As far as the HOF, I hope he makes it. The HOF voters always talk about “did he transform the game”, and I’d say yes back in the 80’s/90’s.
  23. He’ll most likely get his contract in the next couple of weeks. Just because he wants a Watson type contract does not mean he’ll get it. They’ll probably work off of the Murray and Allen deals. I wouldn’t want to be Baltimore as his style of play will not work long term. McD and Frazier have coached well against Baltimore’s system. In 19 we had a weaker team, but we almost beat them losing 24-17. It was Lamar’s worst game that season. We completely shut them down in the playoffs in 20, only scoring 3 pts. This team is stronger now so I’m not worried about Baltimore. They will be better with the injured healed by now, and they are loading up on the TE/Running game trying to get back to their 19 performance. Look for a lot of 12 and 13 personnel this year. At heart, Harbaugh knows Lamar’s limitations.
  24. Mac needs to make room in his locker for more pics when we sweep those tools this year leaving him agonizing over the Bills destroying the Cheats twice. Heres to a fine 7-10 season for the Pats only beating teams with losing records. Enough wins to not get too high of a pick, but too low to make the playoffs.
  25. Its easy as there are way too many armchair QBs. They like to think they are smarter than actual GMs. Forget that he was GM of the year two years ago voted in by his peers. I couldn’t agree more on our depth. TE definitely and it seems like every team thinks they don’t have enough depth at O Line. Now it’s just week 1 of the preseason, but some of the new talent looked good yesterday.
