  1. He’d have to be cut first and then Baltimore can give him a contract he’s worth. If a trade, they are giving a draft pick, paying him $33 mil. Next year and $40 after that year.
  2. It’s someone who says a man who is his own lawyer has a fool for a client. It works the same for an agent. This deal would’ve been done by now if he had good representation. For what, an additional 2%.
  3. It’s funny, my priest at OMGC used to end the mass on Sundays during the season with a brief prayer for the Bills. He filled the seats and there would be a bunch of men when I was a kid wearing jerseys. My dad is so old fashioned he would comment they weren’t respectfully dressed and my mom would reply, but Don they are here. He’d then change his tune. Growing up I always though my dad was the head of the household, and my mom would state as much, but in reality there was only one boss and it wasn’t him. I’m so happy the players responded in the manner they did, and I know I said an Our Father every morning and night until he was released. For those who don’t believe (for me I don’t care if you’re Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, or Buddhist) there really are no atheist in foxholes. OP, thanks for sharing a nice story.
  4. I mentioned well deserved, but by far Milano is the MVP of this defense. As much as I love Hyde, Poyer, Tre and Von, we need Milano for it to run well. Just think awhile back the people who griped on his contract. It drove me insane. He is worth every penny of his contract and is actually cheap for a star Wil LB.
  5. So well deserved! He is my favorite defensive player.
  6. SC, thanks as I wasn’t in a position to look it up , but Jones and Shaq then will be important. It took them from 2017 to now to get the line set. I’ll agree with Donuts that weapons and Guards are the priority. I don’t know how we don’t find some common ground with Poyer to somehow secure a 2 yr. Extension. The last thing I’ll add is we had the DL save for a hot minute our top flight secondary with all of those injuries. Now when Tre is really into form the newness getting lots of time in Elam and Benford, and Taron, well he’s Taron, Dr. Poyer and Mr. Hyde back, we will be lock against weapons on the Fish and Cincy. I can’t wait come February to think about next year. For now it’s enjoy an ars kicking to the Fush Sunday, and as BB says, we’re onto Cincinatti coming to us. Kick their tails and Chiefs here we come. I must actually fly up for the Atlanta neutral location game. All good times. If we get to that ending, you boys need to reach out so we can all tailgate with a couple of adult pops together.
  7. I mentioned earlier the same in terms of a #2 WR, and if we have the right pick, trade up for him. The other salient matter is I haven’t looked up all of our DL guys we signed, but they need extensions. That costs on a year where we start to see Allen’s $42 mil. Hit the books. They extension guys are important, but as important is Settle, Jones, Shaq, Epenesa, J Phillips to come back. We need them as Von will be out until most likely late November, December. We’ll need him for the playoffs next year.
  8. We’ll probably take a swing at a WR in the 1st round of the draft. Then start building with Guards and probably a Safety. I wouldn’t mind finding a TE if at all possible. We have our RB room as Cook is coming along really nice. Diggs is phenomenal, and we have other good tools including a gadget guy in McKenzie, solid #1 TE in Knox.
  9. FWIW guys, Patrick Hammer is always on the Extra Point Show at 11:30 on Fridays. He’ll give you Hammer Time if you want to listen. I like the guy. I haven’t lived in Buffalo since 1991, but I remember the volatile weather in the Southtowns growing up in Hamburg close to Blasdell.
  10. I like it. He’ll be 46, and his play has diminished slightly. We get to beat him twice in the year and he gets to beat up on the Cheats twice a year. A win win.
  11. There’s only so much space. When it’s all said and done, Josh and Diggs will be up there in 15-20 years.
  12. Well said win and no losses of people. I really hope they keep Phillips from his inclination to stick it to the Fish. We’ll need him for Cincy as I assume they’ll beat the banged up Ravens. although I don’t think we need to destroy the Fish, a comfortable lead going into the second half will convert to sitting the banged up guys for our team. A wish. Damar can be wheelchaired (just to be safe) and his parents in the Pegulas box, if he can’t speak with authority the parents give some halftime schpiel. I know Fredex is doing the legends of the game pre game. When he is up for giving the proper legends thing instead of where would you want to be, he tells the crowd, the other Marvism, “when it’s too tough for them, ITS JUST RIGHT FOR US”. Oh and he gets the 73000 fans to tel the second part.
  13. My thought is we may be picking 31st or 32nd. If this is the case I’m hopeful we can trade up to get a stud WR at our first pick. Guards after. As long as Mitch is ok, we have our Tackles and Center. We upgrade our G’s and a WR, we also might look for depth at Safety. D Line is more about extending a bunch of our current guys. I like our crew. They were the glue when we for the first time had secondary injury issues.
  14. Hey Goat, As you know McFrazier usually sacrifice one thing to stop the other. They have prioritized containing as best as possible Waddle, Hill, and Gesecki. As a result they sacrificed rushing yards as it’s not that Miami are world beaters in the run game. Now that Tua is out, my guess is they will be a little more balanced as they aren’t going to have the same confidence in Thompson.
  15. I don’t see how this game will be competitive without Tua. I’m not worried about the beginning of the game. This team under McBeane has gone from terrible in game adjustments to one of the best. How many times have we been close in the first half to pulling away in the second half.
  16. 🙏🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇😇🏈🏋️‍♂️🦬💪 So glad he’s on the road to recovery.
  17. I’m shocked on Hyde. Just wow. I at a fundamental level want him healthy, but if we get him back for Cincy, it will be epic. DESTINY 2023
  18. It was for you Fast Freddie Felson. Always got your back brother. Now get the papas, get the papas.
  19. Talk to me when you have 1000 posts. I’ll listen to you at that point. You have no earthly idea what Von has done behind the scenes for his defensive line counterpoints and neither do I. im just not foolish enough to make silly assumptions. We’re onto hosting a non Tua Fish team.
  20. He’s not going to be cheap and as you point out he’ll be 31. You know he’ll want $20 mil per year and a multi year deal. I don’t see Beane pulling that trigger. If he was 27, then probably yes, but he’s not 27.
  21. The front office has been fantastic. It was nice one of our guys is being sought after for a front office promotion. Guys, get used to it as we kee having success.
  22. Turk, I grew up on South Park Ave by RT 179, in the border of Hamburg and Blasdell which means southtowns and tons of snow. I went to St. Francis in Athol Springs brother right by Hoaks. I didn’t move to FL until going to grad school at USF in Tampa. I remember the grey days, and it was most of them in the winter and spring months. Delivering pizzas from the original Blasdell Pizza, working as a paper boy for the BN when I was 12. It doesn’t detract from the fact that the area I grew up at this miserable time of year. It was also about that Bills fans are everywhere in the Tampa area as we have thousands of transplants, and the weather is literally heaven right now. Atlanta can get miserable at this time of year. Just sayin.
  23. Just Like Jimmy from Goodfellas… Naheem gets the TDs, gets the TDs. Were onto SQUISHING THE FISH!
  24. Hammer sounded so depressing with no sun for that length of time. It’s like you guys are living in Alaska fusing the no sun months. It’s one of the many reasons I’m suggesting the neutral site should be Tampa. It’s beautiful right now and almost never rains in the winter months. It’s likely 75 and sunny with no big winds and an outdoor stadium. You guys would enjoy the Gasparilla parade the day before where they lift open container for the day and 500,000 people head to Bayshore Blvd. Besides six of you guys could crash at my place and not have to pay for a hotel. Lastly, there is not one bad seat in that stadium. But that’s getting ahead and we need to focus on squishing the fish. I hope Tua plays so these Fins fans have zero excuses, and we are the superior team!
  25. It’s funny as I was at one of my favorite sports restaurants Sunday afternoon and an acquaintance friend starte in on me The Bills, the Bengals, and the league was wrong not to resume the game. Normally, he’s a decent guy and I think he was trying to get me to agree. I did the exact opposite. I used just logical arguments and brought up details of how events laid out. Finally, I slightly raised my voice “Chuck, he basically was dead for 9 minutes and thankfully the first responders saved his life!”. “How do you think any player or coach for that matter could’ve continued”. He maintained until two of the women and another guy chimed in and told him they had to resuscitate him again at the ED. He finally came off his soap box as he knows how passionate I am about the Bills, and another good friend for his Bears as he was born and raised in Chicago. Finally I just said to Chuck if McD would’ve gone along with playing he would’ve permanently lost his locker room. So if Vincent behind the scenes was advocating to resume play he and the league would’ve been crucified by the national and international media. Not just the sports media, but Good Morning America, the Today Show, etc., etc. I also said Chuck I want you to read something. I showed him Skip Baylee’s comments, and the barrage of insanely passionate responses by current and past NFL players. I encouraged him to keep reading all of the “You are sick remarks”. I said Do you want to latch your horse to that argument? He seems to realize finally how on the wrong his comments were and let it go. Amyway, I just wanted to share there are some idiots who really take that position, and how much heat any of us would catch for thinking am NFL game is worth more than a man’s life.
