  1. I’m not sure what Tipster thinks is a fair price, but I agree Beane will work his magic on the cap to get Shaw back. He’s not a top $ talent anymore, but a viable cog and sets the edge well. I like Shaw at a reasonable price.
  2. I don’t thinks either and the Ravens are desperately trying to get Lamar to accept a deal or make him happy on the tag. I other team I believe would’ve come up with this $. My only point is some have rushed out of the gate to be first and lay out $18 mil. That’s conditional on incentives and we do t even know what they are.
  3. So it’s $15 mil. With $3 mil. In incentives so he has to make whatever gates they put in front of him. That will be hard if Lamar isn’t there.
  4. He’s who I’m hoping for anyway. OBJ’s talents will be wasted in Baltimore.
  5. As much as I’m hopeful Bernard improves from year 1 to 2, my thought is that if we acquire Hopkins or OBJ (he is the higher risk with two ACL repairs), then Jack Campbell at 27 would be logical. In the 2nd round, we have more latitude in picking a G or TE. There will be a great deal of value at both positions in the 2nd and 3rd rds.
  6. I’ll write what I do each year as just google the Jimmy Johnson or similar draft value charts before making suggestions as 7th round picks are only worth one point. If you have suggestions, then just look up the value of each position’s draft, then you’ll know around what capital you have to give up or gain moving up or down. You guys are smart, so put a little thought and is this player worth say a 1st swap and a 2nd or 3rd. I trust Beane as he thought it was worth it last year to move up for Elam, and Benford was a surprise in RD 6. They might if they can find a trade partner. For those beating the WR drum, is anyone really worth it to move up. Maybe. Just throwing ideas around with any he is kind of waste of time.
  7. BB, you know I respect you’re opinion, but it’s highly unlikely most teams will use their #1 even at 27th on an off the ball LB. You know I like MTC on NFLR and those guys are pretty informative. They are in the season where they do their mock drafts on Fridays. They referenced the same point that S, RB, and the above position usually you can get a quality one in the 2nd rd. On the other hand if we don’t get into the Hopkins or OBJ sweepstakes, we probably will grab a WR. We can always add depth at RT in the 3rd, and I’d love it if we grabbed a stud TE in one of the higher rounds as this is a deep TE class. Beane has tipped his hand if you read between the tea leaves that he wants a better 12 personnel option.
  8. I don’t see Oliver in any scenario getting extended. I sometimes wonder if we could trade him this summer, but doubt it as he only has one year left on his rookie deal.
  9. Virg, if I sent this to your boss, you’d be in hot water. This must have taken you like two days to complete. You know I luv ya bud, so thanks.
  10. Lime, my man don’t be so hard on yourself. 😜🏈🦬 In all seriousness, 13-3 is a very good season following 11-6, 13-3, 10-6, a rebuild year and an end to the drought at 9-7, but we broke the drought. I know so many are never happy until we win the SB for what seems like 6 times which is unrealistic. McBeane has assembled some strong talent and coaching, but as I normally say this isn’t Madden.
  11. Shocker, a govt sponsored product has higher actual costs. That never happens. (Insert sarcasm here)
  12. It’s real simple. This is BB. I feel like we should play that empire music at every game and when we kick their arses again, we play rebel alliance music. I don’t want to just beat them, I want to humiliate them and him into retirement and then forever it was Brady, not that arrogant prick. Sorry, was that on the outside. Have fun as that was a funny thread so good job op.
  13. C u on draft day boys. I’m over the non stop speculation. Im sure all of you have great ideas. Bottom line, I trust Beane. The GM of the year two years ago will figure it out.
  14. Is that a serious question? The women in FL are attractive at least a significant percentage compared to Buffalo.
  15. ok, because it’s you, I’ll take you’re word for it. Maybe a bad and dumb April fools joke. It went over like a Lead balloon.
  16. This guy posts clown remarks to drive Bills fans crazy as he is a trol from another team. Pick you’re AFCE opponent who feels inadequate. Or if memory serves I think he might be a Chiefs fan. It doesn’t matter. It’s why I never bother going to other teams boards as it’s a waste of time and I have better things to do.
  17. They say Sarasota is the home of the $10 milllionares, but Naples is the home of the $100 millionaires. Real estate is high and not as much to do down there as Tampa. I love it here as there are nice master planned golf communities, lots of amenities, three professional sports teams + a bunch of spring training camp stadiums, the beaches, a fantastic airport, the arts of you like that stuff and only an hour from Disney and universal. Bush Gardens was always good to take my kids growing up. I’ll agree more people than not are here from somewhere else. Lots of Bills backers bars here as well. I think free agency was decent, but I wanted one of the proven WR’s.
  18. Jimbo as you can see from my avatar is a hero for a lot of us, but that was a different league and different rules. We need a stud #2 WR. if we get Hopkins on draft day another TE should be a top priority as we’re surrounding JA17 Super Allen a plethora of weapons like what KC and Cincy have done. A1st RD RB is a mistake. They know it as well. Lastly, better G’s is important to make to the running game work where it’s not Allen.
  19. I picked a bad time to stop smoking… That one was for you PTR. Florio is an arsclown. Sims is the only value to pop into that show and it’s rare for me.
  20. McD will be a little more aggressive than Frazier, and most has already been stated above. Now that he has Rapp and Poyer returning, he can do big nickel or dime if he wants against the right opponents. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens. I’m not sure if we’re going with MLB in the 1st rd. If we get Hopkins, and that is still a draft day possibility, we most likely will shoot for a TE in one of the early rounds. They are just too hard to come by, and this draft is deep. We’ll also draft a mid round WR, possibly G, and aMOB somewhere as well as rounding things out with a safety. The last thing I’ll add is it’s interesting he was mentored by the great Jimmy Johnson in Philly, and JJ was known as a 3-4 guy so McD has evolved since his Philly days.
  21. As long as we have JA17, aka Super Allen, we’re ok. Beane will find us talent, McD calling the defensive plays will help, and Dorsey will grow as a play caller. I still want Hopkins, but expect if happens will be close to the draft if not draft day 1. We can then get one of these stud TE’s. The rest of the draft will be about depth in G, S, and another WR. Hopkins is a technician so we could use a burner. We’ll also need a LB.
  22. Happy they brought him back. He deserved it. He was an impact when he wasn’t injured. He played banged up a good portion of the year.
  23. Give Brandt a break. Don’t you guys remember non one, and I mean no one but boomer as a bills fan in the nfl national media. At least we have Brandt, Schein, and as always boomer ( no one circles the wagons) and even a couple others as rooting for us. It provides a little more balance than the constant hate for the bills.
  24. I don’t wish for anyone to be laid off, but it’s just a reality. I hope they land on their feet.
