Im happy with the draft so far. We have a game changing TE, monster Guard, and a tackling machine in a LB. We won’t know for three years, and far too many on this board make decisions after one game. Give it time and to quote a great coach “Trust the process”.

Well, I understand it. I’m not editorializing, but I guess I’ll speculate. It makes sense in a deep TE class to add a second, NOT to supplant Knox as let’s not forget Knox brother suddenly died in the beginning of last year and two years ago had 9 TD catches. My guess is the philosophy is to use more 12% than 7% in the past as we’ve not had a second TE. The fingers crossed hope is that Beane all along is tieing up a deal for Hopkins and will also draft one with development needs, but has blazing speed. It satisfies today and tomorrow. We’ve already picked up three G’s in FA. After what O just mentioned you can expect MLB and DT. What ever is left which is not much they’ll probably go BPA. Beane has picked up an occasional gem in later rounds like Benford and Dane.

If the Birds are up for it, swapping picks from low 1st to high 2nd and getting D Hop, is perfect. Maybe toss in a 5th. Add a year on his contract and smooth it out. We could still get a young buck WR for the future on top of D Hoo, Diggs and Davis.

I’ve been vocal that I want a draft day trade for Oliver to Hopkins. They get a talent maybe next years 4th RD pick. Then one of the top WR in the draft and then a TE like this one in the 2nd. I know it’s a lot, but that is a lot of weapons to our score opponents. I know MLB is important, but I’ll take a decent one plus maybe Klein as well. Maybe we drop from top 3 defense to maybe top 7-8, but and a #1 offense. How fun would that be? 10, 11, 12 personnel options, and Josh just having a ball out there.

T, enough on the what if in 2017. If you truly love Josh, moving on that’s it. No rethinking every decision they’ve ever made and Whaley was fired the day after draft day and brake was hired immediately. If you do t think beane was talking under the radar with McD who hand picked him, we’ll. josh Super Allen is our leader and is who is best for Buffalo. We have lots of other opportunities to improve and no argument from me. it’s certainly not Josh as the problem. I’ll take him over Mahomes anyday and that doesn’t mean I do t think Mahones is the best outside of Josh. Josh will impress you but maybe 15 years will need you to be impressed.

I wouldn’t be surprised at all of Bezos comes in and out bids. You know now that the owners have Walton, (the wealthiest owners in the us - thank you Wal-Mart), having Bezos of Amazon would be a coup.
