I went with 21-40% for simple reasons. We start on the highest potential for run plays with a base defense, and use Milano as a spy for Lamar. If we are fortunate which is very possible to go up by two TD’s, then we revert much more to Nickel with Taron, but still maybe on one of the first 3 downs we use base. On offense I can see this defense relying heavily on the RB’s and TE’s in the short passing game coupled with Cooper and Coleman on the outside. Shakir will be busy. If we get them one dimensional we’ll stay in our normal defense of Taron on the field. That’s just a best guess. We’ll find out Sunday night. It’s a high of 8 degrees, so at nightfall it will be colder. If we have a chance to take the field first, we should take it and hit them hard and fast. I normally se the value in deferring when possible, but this is a unique team. I definitely want to defer next week if we’re so fortunate and face the Chiefs, in what’s becoming the AFCCG invitational. Their offense is suspect, so stopping them next week on the first drive makes sense, and then putting a nail in the coffin to start the 3rd quarter.

Id say teams should let him marinate for a year, and let him repeat another great year. Then we’ll lose him for sure.

Good call Chongli. If you saw the 30 for 30 on the Bills, Polian clearly pointed out our record against NFC AND NFC playoff teams, and it was damning if the NFC back in the Kelly days. As.far as now, the AFC was overblown this year, and th Eagles, Lions, and Vikings are no joke. We have the Bills, Chiefs, and Ravens. To me that’s an even comparison.

NO ONE. If we lose, we lose, but fear is not in the equation. The Ravens can possibly cause us problems, but the last time we didn’t have Milano, Bernard, and Taron. Those are three big losses and we may go to more base and put Dorian Williams on the field against Taron on some downs.

My 94 yr. Old dad is teaching my Chinese wife (I only bring up as she has lived here 9 years, but still learning really traditional old fashioned American family meals) Beef Stew. It was funny Jeremy and Joe this morning played his before game speech when we made it to the playoffs (I think) where he speaks to look left, look right, etc. Jeremy mentioned, why not have him give this speech prior to the game on the field, before he does the right here right now. There are definitely those that find irrational ways to poop on the team, because they done want their heart broken. What’s more likely though are fans of the Cheats, Fish, and Jests, who pretend to be Bills fans to crap on our site. That is much more prevalent. It’s hard sometimes to discern between the two. I really try to ignore them, but every once in awhile, they just annoy the heck out if me which is what they want.

They all went to St. Francis like myself, but they all played for St. John Fisher in college football (D3). Caldwell, Telesco, C. Polian were all buds, kind of close, but not the same year as Daboll. Polian was in homeroom with one of my cousins for four years as Frannies does homeroom alphabetically. Then they split off based on their academic abilities. My brother and every cousin went to Frannies so have some history. They’ve all lost their jobs as of recently, but doesn’t mean they may not regain these positions in other places. I didn’t know them.

I thought it was wife’s breast cancer that was the end for him.. if memory serves, he chose his marriage over his career. I was proud of his choice, but I’m sure the concussions and other matter also contributed to it. First, I hope Californians stay safe as that smoke is toxic. If I was making the call, I’d give the teams fans time to reroute plans just call it’s AZ. God knows we had to reroute two regular season games, but I understand the playoffs are different. Not at the expense of their fans, staff, players and coaches. It’s even worse as it’s an open air stadium on the sides so the smoke will get in there.

Don, you know the funny thing is if this person just said things in relevance like, well the 3rd down defense has been pretty bad, the injuries to the LB’ers have been a problem, the pass rush has been up and down, Kinkaid we all expected more on a thought a breakout year,etc. would be reasonable. That’s fair minded as no team is perfect so we have flaws like any other team. Just like the Broncos running game is pedestrian at best. Simon, thanks for standing up for the real Bills fans. I’m not indicting this person, but it certainly smells as you state of negativity, and I’ll leave at that point. I just wish some would at least take a fair minded point of view, vs. a negativity only slant. An interesting point brought up this morning on WGR IS OUT IF THE 14 playoff teams on 4th down when not unrealistic like 4th and 17, McD was rated as the #1 coach in this crew. For all the clock management, he’s not aggressive enough, etc., he’s done a better job than Dan Campbell and others as Campbell was sometimes too overly aggressive this year and it cost him in some situations.
