  1. Einstein, I don’t believe the injured designation includes IR designations which is why they are not on weekly injury reports.
  2. Yeah, if I have to watch an NFL show which I honestly don’t have the time so listen more on various radio stations, I’d watch Good Morning Football or NFLN overall. I still love NFL Matchup which is one of the only things ESPN does well outside of the Madden cast. They and several other outlets are just littered with hot take have no original thought speculation.
  3. PLOW THE FIELD RG! I just want to see a diverse scheme this year so defenses constantly are wondering what we are lining up as we have the horses.
  4. I’ve heard of County Mayo and Cork (my ancestors are from there), but County McGovern? 😇😜🦬🏋️‍♂️😂 Floyd is a DE. ESPN is a bunch of ars clowns these days.
  5. As much as Schein likes the flare for dramatic, albeit very funny at times, he’s been right more than many. He predicted before the Bills were winning the East each year they would before the 2020 season. Im very hopeful on Cook given his explosiveness although mostly in the 2nd half of the season. He and alternating Harris should be a solid 1-2 punch on the running side the ball. In addition, with the full off season Hines may be able to do more as well when Cook needs a breather. Also, Murray should help in December and January for short yardage and goal line. Maybe this is the year the designed Allen runs goes away at least until the playoffs. Once the playoffs, I don’t care what tricks we pull out for Allen. If anything, maybe we catch a te off guard as he hasn’t done it all year.
  6. You bet, you fargin bastage. I love Johnny Dangerously. You know I’m just joking as was trying to get a chuckle out of you. I purposefully left that message as that was a cult movie from the early 80’s like “Strange Brew” with the McKenzie Brothers.
  7. I’m just looking at this thread and when did this board go from a Bills board to “Days of Our Lives”. The kid’s growing up. He’s now what 27. Don’t you remember what you were like at 27. So he’s trying to make a positive impact. So he’s getting dressed up for the Derby. So what? What Josh does off the field not affecting on the field is none of my business. Probably why I’ve never read People ever. I could care less who Josh dates, what suit he wears for what event, or what new actress he’s been seen with. I had a wife for that kind of stuff. She didn’t do a lot of that either. It’s just gossip crap. I’m more interested in any news on mini camp this week.
  8. Never gets old. I can’t wait for another 7-10 to 8-9 season for “Chess vs. Checkers” BB and all the bowing at the alter for Belicheat. This will year 4 of mediocrity. I SOOOOOOO want Belicheat to not retire. Please stay another 3-4 years and keep having losing records and then Kraft forcibly retires and gives him some figure head consultant role so the narrative was it was Brady, not Belicheat. That is reaping what you sow, sowing what I reap! Classic Liar Liar clip. If any of you youngins haven’t watched this movie, it’s a classic. Jim Carey at his finest. Oh and one other thing Belicheat… STOP BREAKING THE RULES ICEHOLE!!!
  9. This is a funny hoax I’m guessing. It’s probably going to be O Town or G Ville. Neither are fitted for an NFL game, but it’s in state and within 1.5 hrs of Jax. Heading north to GA would never work.
  10. Yep, 12 for sure once Kincaid proves he’s reliable in the game. Dont overlook 21 though with Harris and Cook coupled with which ever DK they want in there. Probably Lnox as he’s a better blocker at this time. I think the overall point is 11, 12, and 21 is all on the table and not so predictable. Dorsey has no excuses now at all for a more varied offense. I was on the Mets see approach in year 2, but Beane gave him everything he needs especially two G’s who should be impactful on blocking.
  11. Em, 13 personnel is a fun option, but unlike Baltimore in 2019 who had the horses, we have Morris and not sure if we want him over a healthy Gabe. Don’t forget there is a 21 option with Harris and Cook who is a pass catching option. The point is we have more variable options this year with the talent we’ve added vs. I know D Hop would’ve made. Better 11 personnel option.
  12. Em, you’re probably not used to Floyd yet, but the guy once he got the heck out of Chicago has compiled 29.5 sacks in the last 3 years. He’s an underrated addition to this team. On paper this may be the most talented defense in McD 7 years. I understand the speed angle McBeane is shooting for in Dorian and Bernard. We have 1st and 2nd team all pros at all 3 levels. Von, Milano, Hyde, Poyer, and Tre. We also have one of the top Nickel CBs in Taron. We have a great big Nickel when we want power and cover skills swapping Rapp for Taron when we face heavy 12 personnel and running teams. I just don’t know how people Arent a little excited about a historically too 3 defense for the last 5 years and now May reach the #1 slot. On offense we no have a real 12 option and upgraded our G’s in McGovern and Mt. O Cyrus. I guess the question marks comes down to Spencer finally healed his neck and back and has an entire off season to take the leap to the next level. We also are the 2nd WR as a question. Was the ankle really holding him back last year. If so, can Harty stay healthy, can Sherfield make an impact? Can Davis ascend a true #2? Those are my only real questions. It’s June so I remain hopeful.
  13. This is the perfect way for Allen and the Bills to be on the cover of Madden. Look kids, it’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s SUPER ALLEN leaping tall fans in a single bound. To get that TD, I heard he leaped over Ray Lewis, and stiff armed Deon Sanders skinny little ars into the ground!
  14. As am I my friend. I hope you have a wonderful and peaceful day Kim from your loyal fan base. We’re pulling and praying for you.
  15. McD is the second winningest coach in Bills history and is closing in on playoff appearances in Bills history as well. He’s not perfect, but no coach is perfect. Look at “Chess vs. checkers” BB who is stuck in the early 90’s with running game, two TE’s and defense with a mediocre QB and poor WRs. Cowhwerd is partially right, but only partially as Beane has been perpetually trying g to create an effective O Line. Sure, we’re working on the D Line, but this may be the most talented D Line in awhile worth the inside and outside guys. If we hit on Von by week 5 even if in a rotation will be amazing across from Floyd and Groot. If I’m playing GM for the day, I’d want Shaq who had the second most tackles last year and is an excellent edge setting run defender. I’ve kind of given up on Basham. Epenesa I can see as the 9th if we go with 4 interior. If we keep all 5 then we’re only staying with 8 outside. I don’t see a way we keep 14 defensive Linemen total. McGovern and Mt. O Cyrus are nice additions to the line.
  16. Guys, many of you know I live in Tampa for the last 30 years. The Bucs arent trading away their best player. Its media hype that means nothing.
  17. That was an incredibly honest and pragmatic answer. Thanks newcam.
  18. I see the Oliver extension and Floyd acquisition as linked so it paints a much more positive decision to make each of these choices. The question then becomes who’s the 4th in the rotation? We have Basham, Epenesa, and Shaq. At most we’ll keep 9 so someone is out of luck. There are multiple ways to look at this as Shaq was the best tackler and a very effective edge setting DE against the run. Epenesa is ok at bend and Basham, I just don’t know, but Basham and AJE, have years left on cheap rookie contracts. Those are considerations. As far as the interior we now have 5 interior guys with Ford (I love this acquisition from Seattle), Settle, Daquan, J. Phillips, and Ed. They won’t keep 5 interior and 9 exterior guys. It’s going to be historically speaking of either 9 or 5. So we’ll lose some guys. TC will bet that out. My Wag is Basham placed on PS and then will probably be scooped up by a weaker team.
  19. Bud, acceptance amongst any faith is paramount so I’m glad you’ve found yours. I forgot about this message, but let’s pray or do whatever so Damar and Murph are healthy and fully functioning and thriving. For me, it’s God bless them, but for you something else but no worries. What we can agree is these two men are healthy and loved with their loved ones.
  20. I really appreciate you having balance. You’re not looking at the Bills with Rose colored glasses, yet you find what is good about our team. We need more of that pragmatic approach to the Bills as you’re not saying everything go is great, but the sky isn’t falling either. I admittedly was a bit upset on the Oliver extension until I saw the connection this morning to the Floyd signing providing 5th year cap hit to Oliver reducing the $11 mil hit to most likely $5 mil or so. It may not be the D. Hop signing I’ve been praying and asking the football gods for to advance far beyond the Chiefs and catch up to the Bengals in weapons, but still helps the overall team. I’m still not giving up hope until he signs somewhere else, but I have hope for this team. That’s all anyone can ask for in June.
  21. Roy, you’re correct. This is year 2 of a large Primetime footprint between evening and national games at 4:25. I love the 4:25 games especially as the 8:30 games get old when not Saturday in December or Holidays. It’s a me issue as im up at 4:45am weekday mornings. A midnight close sucks when you’re up once you settle down after 3 hrs of sleep. I’m not complaining as it bringing us Floyd and others at reasonable rates. I like this Oliver deal more due to the Floyd signing and Poona before. We may finally have a line as I still like the vets even Shaw and J Phillips. The guys that needs to worry are Basham and Epinesa. Lastly, possible Settle depending on whether we keep 4 or 5.
  22. This signing was a bit underreported. He had 9 sacks last year and 47.5 in 7 years with solid performancws opposite of Von. I love it. I thought maybe we took a swing on Ngakoue, but he may have wanted too much. This is a good sign. If he alternates with Rousseau after Avon is back, plus Poona is a nice addition to the interior. Settle might be the odd one out as much as I still like him. We’ll find out in TC or specifically in late August.
  23. Freddy, I may have over stated as I know the zone blitz 43 pressures JJ performed back in the day, but he also what is not in this article was a visionary who pioneered the fluidity of going back and forth based on opponents. Even the Bills show 34 looks at times based on what opposing offenses are showing. JJ was a phenomenal coordinator, and way ahead of his time. Rivera, McD and even as an offensive coach Reid learned from JJ.
  24. I agree as I always look at one of the draft value charts before I ever make a comment on value and how to trade up as so much is wildly off on the board. Sometimes you can over or underpay and it works, but not by a ton as some suggest. For example a 7th rounder is only worth 1 pt on the JJ table. I still like the idea of how we don’t need a ton of draft picks, rather lumping some together to get a better value pick.
  25. Thank hod someone listened to a few of my posts about JJ and his mentorship of McD. JJ was very aggressive and effective, but he ran primarily from a 3-4. I don’t see McD converting, but he will be aggressive. One point another mentioned is the underrated acquisition of Rapp. Rapp is our big nickel solution for heavy 12 personnel and better running teams. It’s a creative fix and save Taron for the finesse pass happy teams. McBeane inferred there has been a bit of a shift in philosophy where we want more speed at the MLB closer to Milano mold. Get more power up front with Ford, Daquan, J Philips, and Settle.
