Bean at his Witchery, Again!
machine gun kelly replied to ROCBillsBeliever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Scott, it does when you have only one year under you’re belt as taken after the draft, purged 54 mil in dead cap weight, and now are in a position to pick up agents and a solid draft. Then next year we see what he does talent wise then and how well he retains good talent by using $ wisely. Then we can make a solid determination on Beane. A lot of people were raving about Whaley prematurely, and then everyone piled on him. Working in Mgmt in a high end industry takes time sometimes to assess talent, work people out and in so you have a winning team. Im not saying he’s made some mistakes, but so did Polian, Brandt, and Wolf. This is by their own admission. Polian who is often spoken fondly on this board said he was happy if he could hit on 60% of his drafts. That’s on NFLR, if you don’t believe me, or ask him yourself next Tuesday night on late hits. -

I don’t know why so many people want to pile on Beane when he may have advised the year before, but only really was in charge of one free agency and draft. Some people want to point to every failure, but that counters with decent trade values, and picking up Foster and McKenzie late. It’s a work in progress so in two years we can make a good assessment of both people. -
A great leader even with his young mistakes for this city. Hopefully he’s done with surgeries. The poor guy needs it.

I watched every game he played in Tampa and was less than average. I can’t speak to his time afterwards.

Paradis and Saffold. Tackles in the draft. Boom.

Brady makes deal with the devil

The Evil Empire. They should play the dark side of Star Wars every time they go on the field. Gisele is as crazy as a $3 bill, and Brady is not far off. -
The title is a little misleading as I’ve listened now to two interviews with the NFLR analysts, and it’s not that he wants this to happen, but Ross has been so open about his plan. Salguero is just piecing together what he has heard and interviewed people on and off the record. Ross isn’t doing himself many favors by talking so publicly about his plan. I’m not Necessarily disagreeing with rebuilding tE team, but he’s doing himself no favors selling tickets next year with these statements. The new coach hopefully asked for a long term contract to put up with these proclamations.

The Top 50 NFL Free Agents Of 2019
machine gun kelly replied to TSNBDSC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Former,y, I see you’re point, but I referenced those two as Tate has great hands and route running, and will be excellent over the middle, as well as leadership to these young guys, and a tandem of Brown and Foster will work well for Allen’s arm. The other two are obvious as our interior will be relatively set, and we can pick up Tackles in the draft where it is deep this year. Just one man’s opinion, but I do see you’re point. It usually takes time for WR to develop out of the draft, and these two an contribute this year, and not break the bank. -
The Top 50 NFL Free Agents Of 2019

Paradis Saffold Tate J Brown That’s my picks and draft the rest and fill out the depth after the draft as there are always depth players after the draft if you can find them. If I remember correctly, Foster was undrafted free agent. -
I don’t why people want to overpay for a possible injury risk Tackle, especially since G and C are cheaper, and as stated above the draft is rich with Tackles. Our interior is the greatest need where we can build a great running program to counter the Pass. Bottom line is Tackles cost a ton of money right behind QB’s,WR, and Pass Rushers. we can get those more expensive players in the draft on the cheap, and fortify the positions of need. Remember we need around $5 mil for the draft, $5 mil for an emergency fund, and save some cap space for who we extend the following year to keep players here for the long haul. Just one of them will be T. White in 2020. He is a lockdown CB. Even if the cap increases to $90 mil, that is $15-20 mil off the top, so use the money carefully as Beane stated in the letter to season ticket holders. We’re not going to blow even $80 mil in this free agency. Maybe $60 mil. Wouldn’t it be more prudent to get a Paradis, C, and two WR, or a TE and WR?

RG John Miller - stay or go?
machine gun kelly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree. He would be decent depth, but hasn’t as you’ve mentioned in the last two years performed as a starting Guard. -
Would you trade a high 2020 draft choice for AB?
machine gun kelly replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I originally thought, yes, but he would never fit here, nor would he probably want to come here.
