  1. Watch what Shady does behind a good line in run blocking. He’s worth it and we have the money. His problem is he is trying to hard vs. just running north south. I also don’t know why Daboll isn’t throwing to Shady b/c he is fantastic in open space.
  2. I can’t remember his name, but my brother was talking to me the right tackle coming into the draft is the best at the position. I’d rather pick up Golden Tate and John Brown in free agency so we have speed and someone who is big and always gets open across the middle! Unlike Benjamin he doesn’t have alligator arms. After we take BPA throughout the draft. We have the second most cap space in the NFL. WE spend on two proven WR and a role player on O Line, and then a great RT in 1st for the draft. Sanu is another option at WR. They already are proven route runners. I’m hopeful we pick up more lineman in later rounds and more offensive weapons. Imagine Allen having a proven line, and lots of weapons like McKenzie and Foster as well as Jones. I’m sure Shady will have a bounce back year.
  3. Agreed DC. The NFL can’t tolerate players threatening the refs, but even though this ref probably said what is reported, Hughes had to get a fine. Inter3sting how the ref was fined and suspended. Tells me there is some truth to the story of the ref initiating things. Hughes has to someday before he retires to cool his Jets.
  4. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor, Germans? Pearl Harbor? Don’t stop him he’s on a roll. One of the dumbest and funniest movies of all time.
  5. Agreed. Crappy ratings consistently and comparably to the other shows is the easiest way to get of him. I live in. FL, but enjoy listening to the other Bills shows. I think I check in everyday from the phone.
  6. Needle, respectfully the Miami Dolphins are ranked 21st against the pass. The Bills are #1. Bills overall defense, #2, Dolphins overall defense, Dolphins 29. We have the opportunity to run today, but also scare their secondary with a couple of deep passes. They will keep on working the play action, and short to immediate passes. Bills win in their house, 28-17. Besides they won’t have home field as I’ve gone to a lot of games there living in FL, and there will be just as many Bills fans as Fish. It’s nothing like the New Era experience.
  7. The NFL won’t allow another black eye for any form of domestic violence. It’s not Goodell, but the committee will determine if he warrants the 6 games. As I’ve said before, because of the KC ratings and success I wouldn’t be surprised using the we are still reaching the issue, and make his suspension next year.
  8. A spy is great for us. We have more open targets then getting open. He just has to continue to be decisive.
  9. Agreed, and we just need to be patient with him. I’ve said this many times, but remember Peyton Manning was 3-13, but our great GM, BILL POLIAN stuck with him. We can still win some games this year, and create momentum for next year.
  10. I’m not worried about the draft. I care more about creating a winning culture. We could conceivably win 4 of the next 5. I’m not saying that will definitely happen, but it’s possible. Until Brady retires that is a lost cause.
  11. It’s a pretty clear cut case of abuse. Dollars to donuts he gets 6 games. The question is this year on their run to the SB. Or first 6 games next year.
  12. I talked to Sal yesterday, and posited the same issue. We have so many young players and even more next year. With free agency and the draft, it would be nice to have veteran leadership, and guys who have not lost a step. I’m sure they would take reasonable contracts to keep playing. Besides the sentimental part of me wants to see him see real success in the playoffs next year which I believe will happen.
  13. I’d let him only play special teams and he can run his ass off trying to tackle. Both ways on offense and defense, or just cut him. Coach should come out in the presser and say we only want players who give it their all and that is not the case for KB.
  14. As the person mentioned about the Falcons, Arthur Blank had to pay a serious fine and yes they did lose a draft pick. This isn’t happening.
  15. Why don’t you just UBER at 8 am to Hammer’s lot, and when the game is over, they always have the 4 pm game(s) on so you wait a couple of hours and a clear path on UBER. Simple and you’ll be with TBD people there. wait out the traffic.
  16. If you read the Polian article, I tend to agree. He mentioned how it takes time to build a winning team. I see McD and Beane being here for a long time. Next year they will infuse a lot of talent on this team, and probably even more the following year.
  17. I vote Chiefs. Look what the Saints did to the Rams. The Rams are away, and the Chiefs have the loudest stadium in the NFL. I believe it will be very close, but if I wagered which I don’t, I would bet the Chiefs.
  18. They typically do a baseline neurological check when they start with a team, and then have to be back to those tests thereafter. It is a good policy, and the real fear from CTE is the lineman especially that knock heads on almost every play. Not all concussions are th same. I’m in the medical field and worked with neurologists. There are no nefarious motives here. I’m hopeful Barkley plays one more game against the Jags, and Anderson sits next to Allen for three hours showing reads, reading defenses etc. and then starts the last five games, and all next year so we have a full body of work on Allen. Give him tons of tools for next year.
  19. I agree on a good post and thanks for the hw on the topic. I would love Golden Tate and John Brown, as some younger guys on our squad are getting better. Everyone knows Benjamin and not a minute too long. The nice piece would be with these two additions, we could just completely shore up the OLine, and we don’t know on Kyle and Lorenzo. Personally I wish they would stay just one more year as they are still high impact players. With that said, another CB and LB would be nice, but even more depth on the offense is paramount. We have the number one defense, and we can really shore up the offense with these investments. For Kyle and Lorenzo’s sake, they deserve not a team backing into the playoffs, but a balanced dominant team to go deeper in the playoffs. Those two certainly deserve it. If Josh A after the remainder of this year, will determine whether we go for another QB in two years as a competition. 25 games is enough to evaluate a player.
  20. Good Gran Torino reference. To think brawls are new maybe speaks to you’re age OP. I don’t know, and not criticizing you, but remember Rene Robert beating an opponent into the stands through the plexiglass in the 70’s. I agree it’s not right, but it is not new. This is why hockey changed the rules b/c the fighting was getting out of hand in the 60’s-80’s. To me it’s a lack of discipline. I was a top competitor years ago, but my coach always told me lose you’re cool and they win. I still believe this to be true and have drilled that into my sons. My oldest is a phenomenal lax player, and when he would come to me after getting cheap shot, I would tell him, instead of hitting the guy for taking a stick to his neck, slip the guy next time and score. That will drive him nuts. It’s why he was cheap in the first place. Beat him with the game so badly the other team leaves humiliated. That’s how you win. That is why I always take the opposite when I read take Brady’s knee out. No. Sack him, force pressure, picks, and you’ll see how out of control he gets on the sideline.
  21. EPS- I hear you as we just lost a long time friend from St. Francis who lost his way, and was found at the mall. He most likely OD’d and had been spiraling down for years even though. He used to have such a promising career, and was sharp as anyone. It hit my family close as my cousin and brother were very close. i didn’t see the link to the story, but know Hardy’s story. Very sad. RIP James.
