I don’t know why any of these guys spout off before training camp. There is no benefit to it. If Yeldon makes the team, great, but why make claims or statements prior to the competition. One thing in general will be fun is watching in camp all of the competitions especially on the O Line.

Sad young men can’t get solid mentor ship and study, workout insane, and stay out of trouble as their football career can be so fleeting.

I gave up on worrying about how people rank us in power rankings and all those lists. We’ll see by the end of the year.

I don’t know if this is coming from his interview on WGR the other day, but he is not a legend. He’s a guy who didn’t quit though and a nice person from what I can tell. I listened to the piece and Tasker was mentioning how he was a high school football coach, now a coach for Aurora University. I have no idea where is Aurora, but glad he was on our team during those years just in that he wasn’t a quitter. It was cool I believe he tied or close to Brady in he attended 6 SB, and has one ring.

Exactly, this came up in last year’s article. It’s not accurate, and who cares. We know we have great fans.

The announcer should never bring up fatherhood and tie it to coaching. He has no idea the personal circumstances of Reid, and it is nobody’s business. I feel bad for his wife hearing this reference as I can only assume it eventually made it to her. If you don’t like him as a coach, keep you’re opinions to those points.

This draft is depressing as even Shaq is on the bubble. I know Polian would commonly say if you're hitting on 60% or better you're in the ballpark of a very good GM. He said his lifetime as well as Ron Wolf, both in the HOF were at57-60%. Gil Brandt going in this year said the same thing. I have real hope though and confidence with this administration. I believe Beane will eventually become the most significant GM since Butler. Butler’s only downfall is he didn’t manage the cap well. He did have a great eye for talent. That late 90’s defense was probably the best I can remember.

I was thinking the same thing, but it’s the dead time for five weeks so it’s a struggle to have any unique topics. I do hope Williams can be a reclamation project, but for the purposes of the question, Brown and Beasley will excel. Beasley will get open underneath and with an improved line, Allen will take a step forward hitting him over the middle. He also has now two deep threats in Brown and Foster, but Brown has a lot more experience. Should be a fun season.
