  1. I don’t see McD and the coordinators taking this game lightly, and I seriously doubt we won’t sit on a lead unless we’re up three touchdowns and in the 4th, then run the ball a ton.
  2. The logo is pretty cool, and as far as bye boredom, I live in Tampa so will watch the Bucs in the morning. Not sure what is on down here at 1 and 4 pm.
  3. I appreciate you’re point of view, but my opinion is we will be fine as Singletary will probably be back next week, and Foster soon enough.
  4. The Bills defense is not overrated. They held the goat of the NFL 45% completion rating. It was his second worse game in twenty years. As far as the comparison to the 98 Bills defense, it’s hard to compare because the rules were different back then. They are both fantastic.
  5. Exactly on the locker room. This club would never in a million years take him. I could see them making an offer for Diggs, but not OBJ.
  6. Digs would be my only yes vote at the right price. I don’t see Spielman going for it as Zimmer might not last, and as mentioned above Diggs is only 25. Foster should heal up over the next two weeks so not a must we have to get Diggs, and Williams had a nice coming out party yesterday. The line will heal and we have depth. If Nseke comes back, we can place Ford back at RG, and move Feliciano at LG. He is better than Spain. My only concerns are the Eagles, Cowboys, and of course the Pats. We could be as high as 12-4 or at least 11-5. The Eagles secondary is beaten up, and they come to our house after healing up on a bye, and a beat down in Buffalo to the Fish. Go Bills!!!
  7. Chandler, nice take and if CSBill is not kidding, Happy Birthday bud!
  8. Chandler, I say 5-1 as after the bye as we’re going to destroy the Fish after winning a tight one today.
  9. He’ll most likely line up as a RB, but will be Allen’s outlet 7-9 yards down the field over the middle, and if Singletary is good, then he’ll get more of the load, and Gore will take the tough yards.
  10. OMG, that’s horrible, but received a nice chuckle it’s so bad.
  11. I’m not really concerned with the Jersey a fan wears to the games. As stated before by others, there can always be mitigating circumstances, as the cost and means of the fan. I wouldn’t wear a M Williams Jersey, of Maybin, but I really don’t worry about those who do. They are at the game, so supporting he team. There are also a lot of fans who don’t wear a jersey, so are they not as big of a Bills fan? Anyway, if people have a problem, just look the other way.
  12. We’ll see. He looked decent in pre-season, but then some reported he had a hard time getting separation. I would imagine as others stated he’ll be a red zone threat, but we already have size with Knox. When Kraft gets back, I don’t know how long he lasts.
  13. I actually feel bad for the kid. My ex when a teenager missed a third of her Junior year and was hospitalized for multiple months due to mono. I don’t wish that on anyone.
  14. Then don’t listen to Coach Weiss on NFLR in the mornings. He makes me sick with the Tommy Boy references, and so on. As far as the game, yes our ST coaching could be much better coached, and they almost made it to the punter another time, so the protection is not there, but why we had the punt blocked, was a terrible snap from the long snapper. It almost hit the ground before he tried to kick it. I’m not saying I like our punter as I think he sucks, but that blocked punt wasn’t his fault.
  15. Buffalo Billies, Id like to think a lot of the posters will listen to you’re perspective as you are there and hear and see the Cindy fans and local radio guys. I agree with the sentiment as Marvin should have been gone much earlier, and Brown hasn’t done much to create a winner. I feel for Cindy fans as I can relate with our history and poor decisions in the past. I do think we didn’t know it at the time, but the Jets and Giants are not very good. I’m not detracting from my excitement our team has improved a great deal. I firmly believe we will win, but won’t be as easy as many people think. They may have lost in week 1, but they played Seattle tough and came close. Seattle is one of the best teams in the league. We need all our fandom as the 12th man and make that stadium deafening when we are on defense. I’ll be there with my two sons, and a total of 18 of my family, and I fully plan to have no voice on Monday as I will only stop screaming when we’re on offense. I love my team, and for us in the stands, it will be special remembering Pancho at halftime.
  16. Tiger and Ms. Peko, I mentioned before I lost my mom but Dad beat it now three times and he is 89. Tough old bird from South Buffalo. He doesn’t even let it get to him. He was appreciative for the last colon cancer resection was worried about my sisters mothering to death so I flew up without the kids and took care of him. Get this for a tough Irishman. He lied to the colon surgeon he had a bowel movement when he didn’t to get out of the hospital in 24 hours when expected to be there for four days. He set up a rope before the surgery on his bed frame to get out of bed so he wouldn’t ask for my help. He loved I didn’t mother him but took care of him. He is so tough as an old athlete he pulled himself out of bed at the first night to use the restroom which was stupid, because he hates help. im not trying to brag about my dad, but more-so he is from a generation that stands on their own two feet now matter how tough it was for him through chemo and radiation. I say Our Fathers every night for you and you’re family as anyone who has faith should so we save another life. God does answer sometimes. I know sometimes tHe answer is no, but worth it. God bless both of you. Sorry to get all religious, but cancer sucks. It is emotional for a lot of us on this board. Keep us posted both of you..
  17. Virgil - you’re posts are long, but very well thought out. Don’t change. Regarding this one I agree with almost everything you said other than Cincinnati played harder than I expected against a top team like Seattle. I’d didn't expect it, but they played harder than I expected and might end up being a little better than my thought over the summer of 4-12. M not saying anywhere near playoff bound, but at least better than a bottom feeder like the Dolphins. Regarding all of the fawning over the Ravens, they did look good, but part of this was due to how horrible the Dolphins played. Good job Virgil and keep these assessments going.
  18. My comment from the other day stands from another thread. He’ll be gone by week 8. He will do something stupid and is a head case whether it is this or something else.
