  1. You called it. 6-10 last year, repeated negative press on Allen and squeaking barely into the playoffs and before no playoff spots in 17 years. That’s it. Whoever said more next year is right. 9-3 now, and anywhere from 10-6, but more likely 11 or 12 wins and if a first round win will get them a couple of night games. Honestly, I’m up at 5 am for morning workout, dog, and love my day of work so I’m miserable the next day. We’ll get some 4 pm games next year as we’re playing 4 of 8 games out West with NFCW, and AFCW next year. Oh and probably at least one Sunday or MNF Games next year.
  2. He doesn’t qualify by one year for the Senior club which is huge this year, which stinks as he definitely would have made one of those 20. I know he is the best non kicker ST player of all time, but not sure if that will get him in this year. I certainly want him to get in this year, but with 20 going in, I think he is a lot CJ for the senior committee this year if he at least gets to the top 15 this year.
  3. Power rankings are fun to read, but doesn’t matter at the end of the day. I think they are in the right spot at 9th. Funny how they have a 10-1 Pats lower than a 9-2 Ravens, but they did beat the cheats.
  4. You know even if we lose after hopefully our first win, but I’d much rather see KC or Baltimore in the SB, if not us. I’m so sick of seeing those guys in the SB, and the non-stop fawning of the media of the Pats. Their defense is impressive, but they look weaker on offense than in years past.
  5. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s cut at the end of this year, and we draft another if a good class in the Spring. As far as Foster, I liked him last year, and if he has been hurt, it makes sense why saw very little playing time. Now if healthy, I would play him 2/3 of the time, and McKenzie 1/3 of the time as he is pretty dynamic as well. There is a place for both of them and agreed speed kills so Brown, Beasley and Foster gives a lot of targets as well as Singletary, and Knox. Next week should be interesting.
  6. The key to this game in my humble opinion is a +150 yd rushing day along with the no huddle. Don’t give them time to adjust, and ram it down their throats. Our defense will be fine. I don’t want to see Jackson get hurt, but I’d love to see him it and hit hard a lot next Sunday.
  7. I don’t worry about what people say on a Browns board, but out of curiosity, I looked at it. For the most part, the posts were relatively positive about Allen. It’s not like every post about the Browns and even Mayfield on this board. I only wish the fans the best because they have had a bad team since they came back to the league, and we know what that is like before McD and Beane. Now that shirt that was posted was ######ed by a head coach. He’s practically encouraging a fight tomorrow.
  8. He’s our Edelman or Walker in his prime. That video was awesome. I too loved the end in the locker room. He killed it Thursday.
  9. Well said SF. I don’t even think Wrex would do something that stupid, oh wait it’s Rex.
  10. I really hope you’re right. After Thursday, it looks possible. If we play like that again, I’m changing my opinion. Unfortunately down here in Tampa, we won’t get the SF/Baltimore game on network tv so I’m either going to a bar or AMC theater as they show some of the games. I’ve never gone so might be fun to see this game at a movie theater. If the 49ers can keep them in check, we have a game plan for next week. I appreciate you’re comments.
  11. I’ve always thought he and Reggie White are the best of all time.
  12. Nothing is worth an assault charge unless you’re family is getting attacked. Just stupid and immature.
  13. I went to bed early as had a long day, but was so excited I’m watching now at 4 am. This is awesome! Reminds me of not just Bruce, but the glory days. Let’s hope as it looks like it’s starting again. Go BILLS!
  14. Doc, I’m with you along with Phillips, Milano, White, and I know some disagree, but Lawson. We need to keep this unit together. Part of me if he keeps playing well, I’m cool with Lorax coming back for one more year. If we really make a run in the playoffs, I could see it.
  15. Mannc, I’m not saying we don’t have a chance, but they are the hottest team in the league, so I stand by my comment. I respect your’s, we just respectfully disagree.
  16. Well said. I thought the same thing and would love Cooper. With this loss, Jones may pull back on spending on him. They only have a little more $22,500,000 of space and still haven’t paid Dak. There is a chance, Jones won’t have the $ in 2020 to afford both. I couldn’t agree more on cooper over AB, and so glad he said no to us.
  17. Lucky guess. He’s not even close to as accurate as Mayock was before going to Oakland. None of these guys are always right, but Mayock’s batting avg was better.
  18. And the Chiefs the following week as well. Then if we beat the Ravens which is a long shot, when we face the Patriots in Foxborough another unlikely, then in this rare scenario we would have the better record. All of these things are TBD, so as several others said, let’s focus on the Ravens at home. I’m glad at least we’ll be a home with 75,000 crazy Bills fans. Lamar better start practicing now the silent count as he’ll never be able to yell out the calls.
  19. As others including analysts have mentioned, a convincing win tomorrow will change it and quite honestly, I really don’t care. We know who we are. It’s the same with power rankings. Could care less. Wins and playoffs is all that matters however it happens.
  20. Not bad trout, but I think they have a much better shot at the Steelers, than the Pats in Foxborough. It sounds cynical, but I don’t have high hopes for the Ravens and Pats, although agree with you a very good shot at the Jets and Cowboys. I basically predict we finish 10-6, or maybe 11-5 and secure the 5th seed. That means we play wildcard Sunday against and AFCS winner. We can beat any one of those three teams in that race.
  21. Gug’s, if we really are wearing white, then they would have to wear their blue jersey. Well said.
  22. From a viewing standpoint for Josh, red is the bes choice especially if it will snow, and they can’t choose purple as they would have to wear white. If a snowstorm you take every advantage you can. He’ll id bring back the red helmets for that game.
  23. Exactly as I was hoping for 4:30 game, but NE/KC will always be the top bill. If we beat the Cowboys, and even if we play close til the end the Ravens or by some chance win, they will definitely flex the Steelers. They have the biggest national fan base and coming there at 9-4, or god forbid 10-3, we would definitely get flexed.
