Bills vs Vikings 9/15/2002 on ABC
machine gun kelly replied to LB3's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bill, you’re not being sexist. She’s horrible. I like just fine people like Mary Kay Cabbot who covers the Browns. She’s smart engaging, and knows when she is talking about. Glab gets on my last nerve. Not because she is a woman. He’ll the two I can’t stand more than her are the tools in the afternoon show so has nothing to do with gender. -
Would YOU pay for a ‘Bills Network’?

Klos, nice Homer reference. Gotta love the Simpsons. -
Earl Thomas On His Way Out Of Baltimore (Edit: now cut)
machine gun kelly replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was wondering the same thing Weo. If they threw out everyone who fought, there would be 100 guys gone from the league. I doubt they want to permanently lose an asset like Thomas. He’ll probably get a hefty fine and move on. -
Given what we know, Week 1, who ya got?

That pic is priceless. FWIW Virgil, I thought that was funny as I’m sure you were kidding. -
Earl Thomas On His Way Out Of Baltimore (Edit: now cut)
machine gun kelly replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just looked it up. He had a heated exchange with Safety Chuck Clark potentially due to a missed assignment by Thomas. The team sent him home. He also had a similar thing with Nose Tackle, Brandon Williams after the Cleveland game. Crazy as the Ravens gave him a four year $55 mil. contract in the Spring of 2019. -

Bills have Ziggy Ansah on their radar
machine gun kelly replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well said George of the Jungle. Ansah is not making this team. It’s too bad on his injuries as he was good 2018 and before when not hurt. -
I understand there is a soft spot for Wade with the international program, and glad Moss has been trying to help him. He has an uphill battle to make the team. We have a couple of FB competing to make the roster, and it’s almost assured Singletary, Moss, FB (DiMarco or Gilliam) and I think Yeldon makes the roster. The reasoning on Yeldon is he’s a good pass catching RB, and has experience. I’m betting Gilliam gets the nod as he is faster, younger, cheaper, and overall probably an upgrade. Wade if he makes it probably is back on the PS. He doesn’t count on the active roster, from a PR standpoint for the Pegulas he is a feel good story, is an extra PS person given the program, and with COVID, it’s a good call to keep him. The good news is he could easily get called up and see some real time this year. To think we are not going to have a revolving door from the PS squad with positive tests is rosed colored glasses. I’d love to see the guy get called up like they do with baseball players from the minors. It’s a lot to ask to think of the little things a RB knows who’s been playing since 8 years old, and a guy who is just beginning to understand how to run behind his blockers, etc. He has lots of natural talent and Id love it if he made it. As far as the OP, bud just a friendly thought, consider giving an opinion as we want to know what you think. It’s kind of customary on the board. I’m not piling on and thanks for sharing the quote. It was appreciated.

Ron Rivera Cancer
machine gun kelly replied to billsfanmiami(oh)'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Donuts. Thank you. I know we kid around, but couldn’t have been said better. Not ready to talk about that, but a bunch of us have been Personally touched by this insidious myriad of diseases. God bless the couple of people that shared ad wish nothing more than what has been said about Riverboat Ron. -
H2O, that is probably right, but teams just never do that anymore. You’re inserting common sense again darn it. ?. I doubt he will even last this long, but even Reed put Mahomes in before the end of the first year. It’s not like Fitz is Favre having the fortune to let Rodgers is for a couple of years. Where I agree with you completely are teams like LA Chargers, current draft pick for the Packers wait for one or even two years.

Training camp thread - daily or weekly?
machine gun kelly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You’re Destiny? What are you Darth Sideous? I thought that was Kraft’s job. I really don’t care as you just go to second or third from the end page weekly, and honestly Yolo does enough for everyone here. I know I appreciate it. That’s asking him to start a thread everyday. I do agree Yolo it should be you as the race on each topic who starts a thread. It’s annoying and just makes Hapless or Chandler shut down the redundant ones. -
Utah, you’re trying to insert common sense into a silly debate. I am curious to see how Darnold, Allen, and Tua play this year. Does Allen and Darnold continue to progress in year 3? Does Cam fall apart by the end of the year or do we buy into the media hype he is the next coming? Does Tua come out after Fitz, and you know he will throw 4 picks in the Seattle or 49ers game, and he comes out healthy accurate and give Fins fans some hope, or is he seriously hurt by not having the off season training? It will be an interesting year for sure. I just want to see a full season, healthy Bills team, and our team moves significantly forward.

Buff, we’ll probably get some release today. My guess is they held him for observation, they have to see what is his hemoglobin, and the other factors from bleeding. He probably received a unit of blood and created a treatment plan. I know some people are not which is fine, but I said a prayer for the guy.

Unpopular Bills takes, Past and present.
machine gun kelly replied to Bills fan since 87's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. I was a little stunned a HOF GM, who turned around a loser of a team in Buffalo, after Ralph wouldn’t stay out of Knox’s way who brought us our first AFCE division winner. Some younger people don’t remember the Kay Stephenson, and Hank Bullough years. 14-43 with two coaches for four years. It was horrible. Polian completely turned the team around. Granted he was a tyrant by his critics, but a serious leader of an organization by his fans. He gets into a spitting contest with Littman (the $ guy for young guys on the thread) and Ralph sides with Littman. Poian didn’t just draft Bruce, Andre, and mend fences with Kelly. Kelly didn’t want to be here, but the USFL was dying so Kelly had to come back. What about that incredible trade for Bennett, the line he assembled, and picking Bebe. Polian has the advantage the League gave him more resources to start an expansion team, but he made excellent choices. The result was the playoffs in their second year, then goes to Indy, turns that team around, and they are One of the winningest teams of that era. It wasn’t just Manning, it was replacing Faulk with E. James, and in time Dallas Clark, Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, Reggie Wayne, and Bob Sanders. He may have been hurt a lot, but he was incredible when playing. Does that sound overrated? He and Ron Wolf receiving the gold jackets were very deserving and neither of these GM’s just lucked into all of these smart decisions. Other teams passed on these players and Polian saw what he was making. Reminds me of my ex, and not in a bad way. We’re still friends and one of her gifts in decorating is she had their eye to see a room before she created it. She knew how to fit all the pieces together. I respected her for that as most people can’t see it before it’s there. Polian knows how to do that and legitimately deserves accolades. I do feel bad for guys like Sammys Rib as you mentioned you were too young to really appreciate those years. It was great being a Bills fan going to the playoffs for 8 of 10 years. I certainly hope we are on our way to that again. This year could be the playoffs three of four years and god willing win this year a couple of playoff games. I don’t count us out getting to the SB, nor do I expect it. I just think we have a real shot at being a winner against top competition. Go Bills! -
So we can call this the Stool Bowl, or the Toilet Bowl, or hey let’s get a nuclear waste removal company to call it the Chernobyl Bowl. How about Amazon or Apple and we call it a day. Considering they are two of richest multi-national companies in the world and is a blip on their radar. We go deep in the playoffs, and considering we have four prime time games, and two more at 4 pm without flexing which is like prime time light, We have enough recognition, one of the big guys might consider. I’m sure BP would like some positive press next year, and we play the NFCS and AFCS next year. Not exactly happy about the pub a few years ago. They are a monster and could easily afford it. Monster companies who get their name plastered all over tv are the one who can easily write off and if we make the playoffs three out of four years and this t8me go deep, we have promise to these boards.

Ngakoue Watch is officially on!

Darth, just lets keep praying they keep Marrone as coach and a given. I can’t go against Caldwell as a fellow alumni from Frannies, but the longer he keep Maroon the easier it will be to poach Jags players. -
This poor guys can’t catch a break. I didn’t even know he’s had 7 injuries in the pros since his rookie year. 3 concussions, 2 foot injuries. a sprained MCL, and a wrist fracture. Now make that 8 with a liver laceration. If not too severe, he’ll be fine as you can actually donate small part of you’re liver to a family member of a match, but you don’t live without a liver. There’s no extra kidney. I really hope he’s ok as I liked him as others pointed out, and he played well for us. You can’t predict a lacerated liver. If ok, I would be more concerned for three concussions in around a year. Not good. If slightly perforated, he’ll be ok in time, but he’s out for the rest of camp and most likely the first couple of games.

Josh, FWIW, you’re right. Not that Billl or anyone else is playing fantasy football here, but You made the right call we have far too many others to pay as Sal said this morning on WGR. He was astute and basically dismissed. He referenced the draft as you, the extensions for the usual suspects over the next two to three years, not to mention the additions and $ we committed for them. Even if we cut Murphy, we’re either on th hook for another $10 mil. and a 2nd rd. pick at a minimum, or a 1 yr. rental for a 2nd rd pick, and he won’t even want to do it anyway without a new contract. This is a bad idea on so many levels. Anyway, it won’t happen so not a big deal. -
Bill, I typically like you’re takes and have watched Smith for awhile and yes, I hope you’re right and we load up again with Smith as next year Brown and Beasley will be 31 and 32 respectively. I’ve heard good things about the young QB, and with the other 6’0” QB’s now making it in the NFL (Brees, Vick a bit about, and Mayfield), he might do well. The problem is as I’m myopic to the Bills even though I’m flooded with Roll Tide editorials and articles down here living in SEC country, that I see us using all top three round picks for the older current players in roster spots like DE, O Line, and so on. I’m with you though bud as he is darn good. I guess it just depends on how Davis and Hodgins ends up.
