  1. Gregg, you don’t love Schoop and the Bulldog? Listening to them is like putting an ice pick in my temple. Oh yeah, that’s right, I will listen to those schmucks when, a never.
  2. KGun, Tom Arnold is now playing for the Jets. I guess Rosanne wanted him out of the house. Just kidding bud, us Kelly’s have to stick together. Minga!
  3. I don’t know, ask Chris Brown. Well, Brownie, which one is it? Doh! Sorry Brownie, but we’ll see at the beginning of the season. Will they let you talk then? I’m just kidding as I am one of the guys who likes Brown.
  4. Agreed Shady on Allen and the Tampa WR’s thumbs up.
  5. Well, now that House is gone, I will agree keeping a back up kicker and punter on the PS is a good idea just like a long snapper and a quarantined QB. If hey keep active Barkley and Fromm, then you’d hope they keep Webb on the PS. That still leave 12 + Wade for the ps at different position groups.
  6. Wade is good for COVID depth, and RB’s get hurt. I’d still keep motor, Moss, and Yeldon. The bills seem to like having a FB as an option.
  7. Wanna be wiseguy in the middle of a stroke. I almost spit out my water on that one. Good job Dawg. I don’t remember Spags, and thought as I started reading this thread it was just a joke, but the way all of you have responded, he really is a Jets troll. We just god rid of one if not temporarily. Like others said, at least we get one pre-season game.
  8. I don’t know enough about King to know why he is blacklisted. He was a stud punter for quite some time. McD doesn’t want problem kids, and if he is that person, then makes sense. As far as House, I thought they would place him on the PS, but the cap savings is primarily the reason.
  9. Sds, thank you. Hopefully this is resolved soon, but appreciate everything. Geesh.
  10. I see Nossing, I hear Nossing. Gotta love Sgt. Schultz. Thanks for the laugh. I think those things are still playing on Sundance.
  11. Transplant, we can’t answer that or any other question.
  12. KJ, I think you went a little Samuel Jackson from Pulp Fiction on this one, but this pic made me laugh. I honestly don’t care, but if you do, so be it as you’re a cool cat. I only have two jerseys, Fredex and MGK of course, but they are authentic. Look at the bright side, no one is going g to see these things this year anyway as there won’t most likely be fans.
  13. There was another earlier article ranking Barkley In the same position.
  14. That guy never recovered from that embarrassment. I don’t want to say who, but met a good friend of Norwood who was on the team, And he said he was rattled since. It’s really too bad. It was a kick. I hated we lost that game, but so much was on the team and the coaches, not just one missed kick. It’s crazy it will be 30 years in January, and we are still talking about it.
  15. Donuts, hindsight 20/20, but the more obvious answer is if Levy had his head about him, he would have realized Belicheck, that bastage was only rushing three, we could have ran the ball down their throats and not been in that situation. He had I think it was either 13 or 14 rushing attempts for 135 yards, and to be crazy had another 55 in short passes. He dwarfed the mvp, Otis Anderson in stats. The stubbornness of Kelly and Levy to keep trying the no huddle when if they would have racked up over 225 yards, BB would have had to play more up in the box. We would have controlled the clock, and NYG would not have ball control for 11 minutes in the 3rd quarter. We blew it terribly in that game. Had we won that game, we could have won more. Norwood should not have been put in that position. Had he had to kick under 40, he probably could have made it. I hate even talking about it as I was young and had so much hope. That game should have been at a minimum 26-20 or better Bills and the Thurmonator as the MVP with the most yards ever by a RB in SB history. He has a right even though he doesn’t say it being bitter about such crappy play calling. Honestly, Talley, I meant to apologize as I looked up after the fact and went on what Polian said in a couple of interviews. Shame on me. I’m the first to apologize though when I’m wrong.
  16. When I see this pic, I think of the Tic Toc thing Just Jack sent out (hilarious btw so thanks mods for not closing it as I laughed my head off) about the only QB with a tree growing out of his head. I censored for the group. Of course he’s the QB. He’s just reading the script. Next question as they say on Press Coverage.
  17. Is there really a point of doing a training camp daily report when the reporters are so afraid to say just about anything due to fear of suspension? Not trying to be a wisears, but seriously. After the Brownie treatment, I just don’t see us hearing any news substantive.
  18. Soft tissue injuries can be minimized if the players decided to not just lift, run, etc., but yoga, hot yoga, and even Pilates really helps with flexibility. They don’t force the players to do it, so it’s up to them. Bones breaking, ligaments strained and torn are not preventable. Bottom line is it’s crap shoot every year, but I was really happy when McCoy started doing yoga religiously and his hamstring and groin pulls went down. Oh, and I don’t do yoga, so not biased, just know that a player can benefit from these types of exercises.
  19. Sounds like the environment is difficult, and I feel bad for CB. I’ve always thought for being a Bills employee, he did a good job. It’s apparent they are censored, but that is not the employees fault. Yolo brings up a good point that he is only suspended so as long as he can keep his job and get back to normal in two weeks, that’s not too bad. It makes me wonder if Mehta and Brown is a common thread, how many others are going to get the same Suspensions. The rules are a little excessive, but I understand if all teams are this strict, you can’t be the team that lets information pass. One of the reasons I hope these reporters get their jobs retained.
  20. Thanks 420. Appreciate you putting up with a middle aged old fashioned guy who just called and had on his tv for over 23 years.
  21. I was thinking the same thing. This season can’t start fast enough.
  22. Weo, be nice. LB, revisionist history is fun, but look at his games played post hall of fame team in the Bills. In Carolina, NYJ, and Detroit he was mediocre at best. Yes, it’s great to reminisce about the greatest comeback and even the win the next week against Pittsburgh, in Pittsburgh, but as Polian said in his HOF speech, he was the greatest back up QB in NFL history. Whether that’s true or not, who knows, but he wasn’t a starting QB. Consider he had Reed, Thurmon and company to throw to and the line he threw behind with a very good defense.
  23. So not be a 4th grader here, but I have two boys in college. My dad has a direct tv acct and I have his app on my iPad. So if I wanted to pay the $20/mo., how exactly does this work? I’m just wondering if I have the direct tv app, and my son sets up a college act., how do I watch the games on my iPad. I normally just get with my home but in a place where I can’t get direct tv at my current home. any advice would be helpful and if youd rather pm me, please do so. Thanks guys.
  24. Pass. Feel bad for the guy as he had a good career, kickers did not typically make 47 yarders back then, and he didn’t miss a kick the following year.
