  1. I’m not sure why people are so cynical as he’s just barely making the team as a backup that most likely won’t see the field. If he does he’s all heart like Rudy. Im happy for him, but doesn’t think he would take the field for maybe a year or two. He may develop into something special, or maybe he ends up as a career backup and makes his parents proud he has his own Bills jersey.
  2. I’m as much a Bills fan as the rest of you guys, but investments needs to show ROI. If there is little to no history and they can claim anything. If County keeps this open and shows a documented history of an 8% ROI, then I would consider it. The avg return over 100 years for the Dow and Nasdaq is 8%.
  3. Mike White has a losing record, but another should consider himself as a backup now in Tannehill. MT has a a slight winning record, and is still mobile at 36. Given his age, he should be amenable to a reasonable contract and the pipe dream of him starting again is just a pipe dream.
  4. What are you in 4th grade? C’mon, this is like “could Ali beat Tyson in his prime”. It’s a non starter.
  5. I know you’re kidding, but the best that can be done is doing an injury settlement and moving on. For those less likely to make the 53 , you can IR them now and out for the year. They in turn could receive a settlement and be done. My guess if in question at all on Milano, he may be the IR on the last day of the team docs thinks there is a chance for him to return in December or January, they may do it. If the prognosis isn’t good, then they IR him early. It’s a crap shoot when they early vs. last day IR. Samuel is my guess would be the other last day IR as he may be able to come back in six weeks.
  6. I see your point, but consider Allen’s running has evolved to much safer in he slides more, and runs out of bounds more. I’ll agree he ran with reckless abandon in the beginning, but has improved at least at times. The other point is almost every injury even though he played through most of them came from the pocket where a QB is a target vs. on the run. I’m not saying it can’t happen, but hasn’t slowed him down for 88 regular season games not including playoffs. I don’t have rose colored glasses amd it’s possible we regress to 10-7, but I don’t believe it will happen. I can see us going 11-6 or on the rose colored side 12-5. I firmly believe we’ll win the East, amd then see what happens.
  7. Wizard, it’s funny you say this as my newlywed wife asked me if I even have regular television. I told her yeas, but know the shows I love and would rather not watch with commercials at night. I’d rather just watch on my subscriptions and most of the time that is at 5 am before I go to the gym, then work.
  8. Vaughn Von Allman is his name. I was able to find it.
  9. Agreed E- Dog. Please keep stating we are third. Let Josh and McD play and coach with a chip on their shoulder. See what happens. This isn’t the drought Bills! This is Super Allen’s team!
  10. I’m sorry Knuckles. I know it’s hard as I lost my Dad’s parents my freshmen and senior year of college. My mom’s mother 13 years ago. I didn’t really know my maternal grandfather he died when I was 3. It’s tough, but nearly as hard when I lost my mom on my 40th birthday. I was just in Buffalo to say goodbye without saying goodbye to my Aunt and Godmother who half raised me. As their sons are my best friends. Loss is tough and will say an our father for his grandfather. If anyone knows his first name that always helpful in prayer. im happy Josh code not to attend the game. Family should always come first especially in a meaningless game.
  11. There’s no one from these lists that are worth it. The bottom line is we have to hope Samuel in 3-4 weeks can calm down that turf toe, rely heavily on Shakir and Kinkaid, as well as have some packages for Knox. wellhave lots of $ for next year to extend some and make at least one to two splashes. I’m confident one will be a top WR like Aiyuk. SF is dragging this out as they want to play him on the tag and probably walk away from him or Debo.
  12. USC, it won’t work anymore as defenses caught up, and yes this is brought up every August. The primary reason it worked so well was outside if the 80’s Bengals under Wyche, the Bills were one of the first teams to run this offense. opposing teams caught up. Besides someone else already wrote we have the #1 offense as an aggregate for the last four years.
  13. Bicuit and Quint (guys I like and respect), the real issue last year was Allen getting hamstringed by not being allowed to run. He’s the most durable QB in the NFL with twice the number of consecutive starts than any other QB in the NFL. DB’s are more afraid of Allen Freight train than the other way around. We can still do it this year. All of us including me have to get used to Shakir, and Kinkaid along with targeted Knox packages. Samuel shouldn’t take more than a few weeks. Coleman will eventually develop, but you can’t expect mountains moved in a few weeks.
  14. Ja, I know all these years you’re a real Bills fan. Don’t lose hope buddy. We may be in a transition year, but I’m not giving up on 10-7 to 11-6. We’ll have tons of $ next year and can infuse some serious talent. youre the last person I would’ve thought losing faith. Hang in there bud. we’ll be ok. Dan
  15. Augie, first I almost never start threads as I don’t want to waste time. Second, I’m not saying I don’t support Buffalo Joe, I’m just cautious to wait and see more. I don’t think that’s unreasonable. Third, I truly want Joe to do well. I truly want success for the kid. The more umpires and coaches who’ve come forward on WGR makes me want to believe he could be the next Zack Thomas. An undersized 5th round pick who ended up as a HOF guy. Finally, Augie, you know I have a tremendous amount of respect for you.
  16. Tannehill not so free speech. Choose a proven QB vs. someone who’s done nothing in the NFL.
  17. why do people want to trade every decent player we have as a draft pic idea.
  18. TDTT, I’m sorry you don’t agree, and yes a hometown boy is a great story. My point is let’s see what happens for the rest of camp, and the 3rd preseason game. Nothing would make me happier to see him shine and make the 53 especially with Milano out. I truly hope it happens, but one game in a meaningless game is not enough to offer a guy a spot especially a walk on. Im rooting for him as well. I truly am rooting for him.
  19. He had a solid game, but that’s it. Never get too excited or too down on a preseason game as it pertains to players and coaches.
  20. I actually like the idea of Tannehill. We have a little wiggle room with maneuvering some $ to get him and once Trubisky heals to release him. As many know you cannot cut an injured player. You can negotiate an injury settlement, but Trubisky has to be willing.
  21. This is a troll thread. Why do Jets, Pats, and Fish fans feel somehow better about themselves when you attack their opponents websites. I don’t care about their websites. Small minded people with small minds.
  22. I know bud. It’s freakin frustrating. Can’t any injuries be to our depth people, not our studs. The football gods don’t like us.
  23. i stand corrected as it must have been a minor tear. I’ve seen complete tears and these guys were taken off in ambulances immediately. my apologies guys. I hate this as he’s so critical to our defense.
  24. Agreed on all points as I’ve been working in various specialties in medicine for the last 26 years. If he had a bicep tear he wouldn’t be doing push ups. He’d be in agony and it’s an easy diagnosis. I’ve seen 3 complete tears in my life, because inexperienced conventional Powerlifters (Squat, Bench, Deadlift) will when completing a deadlift, not follow the golden rule that you’re arms are just clamps, and not to shrug the bar. You’re bicep can’t handle once you get above 600lbs to shrug anything. Its agony on the person and experienced Powerlifters on a National level are as tough as football players as when I did it for 17 years. We always live in pain as the body is just not meant to be doing that extreme level of weights. As evidenced by my joints in my 50’s. I don’t regret it, but I knew the risks and my form was perfect. My point is not my resume at all, but a bicep tear is easy to diagnose. That’s my point.
  25. Ayiuk is the ticket I’m after. He’s worth the rollover, and our cap still opens up next year. If they sign him on a multi year deal, they can backload it as the cap has been increasing post COVID by 10%/yr.
