  1. When I see this pic, I think of the Tic Toc thing Just Jack sent out (hilarious btw so thanks mods for not closing it as I laughed my head off) about the only QB with a tree growing out of his head. I censored for the group. Of course he’s the QB. He’s just reading the script. Next question as they say on Press Coverage.
  2. Is there really a point of doing a training camp daily report when the reporters are so afraid to say just about anything due to fear of suspension? Not trying to be a wisears, but seriously. After the Brownie treatment, I just don’t see us hearing any news substantive.
  3. Soft tissue injuries can be minimized if the players decided to not just lift, run, etc., but yoga, hot yoga, and even Pilates really helps with flexibility. They don’t force the players to do it, so it’s up to them. Bones breaking, ligaments strained and torn are not preventable. Bottom line is it’s crap shoot every year, but I was really happy when McCoy started doing yoga religiously and his hamstring and groin pulls went down. Oh, and I don’t do yoga, so not biased, just know that a player can benefit from these types of exercises.
  4. Sounds like the environment is difficult, and I feel bad for CB. I’ve always thought for being a Bills employee, he did a good job. It’s apparent they are censored, but that is not the employees fault. Yolo brings up a good point that he is only suspended so as long as he can keep his job and get back to normal in two weeks, that’s not too bad. It makes me wonder if Mehta and Brown is a common thread, how many others are going to get the same Suspensions. The rules are a little excessive, but I understand if all teams are this strict, you can’t be the team that lets information pass. One of the reasons I hope these reporters get their jobs retained.
  5. Thanks 420. Appreciate you putting up with a middle aged old fashioned guy who just called and had on his tv for over 23 years.
  6. Weo, be nice. LB, revisionist history is fun, but look at his games played post hall of fame team in the Bills. In Carolina, NYJ, and Detroit he was mediocre at best. Yes, it’s great to reminisce about the greatest comeback and even the win the next week against Pittsburgh, in Pittsburgh, but as Polian said in his HOF speech, he was the greatest back up QB in NFL history. Whether that’s true or not, who knows, but he wasn’t a starting QB. Consider he had Reed, Thurmon and company to throw to and the line he threw behind with a very good defense.
  7. So not be a 4th grader here, but I have two boys in college. My dad has a direct tv acct and I have his app on my iPad. So if I wanted to pay the $20/mo., how exactly does this work? I’m just wondering if I have the direct tv app, and my son sets up a college act., how do I watch the games on my iPad. I normally just get with my home but in a place where I can’t get direct tv at my current home. any advice would be helpful and if youd rather pm me, please do so. Thanks guys.
  8. Pass. Feel bad for the guy as he had a good career, kickers did not typically make 47 yarders back then, and he didn’t miss a kick the following year.
  9. Well, it’s just a practice so I’ll table a bit. If it is the dumpster fire I expect, the Jets will do what I expect them to do which is implode, coach gets fired, excuses are made, and the guy I feel bad about is Darnold. He didn’t choose to get drafted by this show, and he didn’t want to be on this team. If I were him, I’d do anything I could to make this a holdout like no other to get out after this year. Go nuclear. Whatever it takes to get on any other team. He probably would do fin on another team.
  10. Sorry, I’ll take Beasley. He’ll be fun this year underneath, and we don’t need the TB12 Edlelbatgirl. I know I’m being petty on this guy, but I can’t stand him.
  11. Edelman doesn’t have Brady anymore who gets rid of it in 2 seconds. He has a career QB who is banged up, who has a career QB completion % of 59.6%. I love how Allen is so decisive with a 59% (I know 58.8% but cmon) and there are serious questions but Superman who is not super anymore is going to save the day for NE. Give me a break. He’ll hold onto the ball too long with our defense and his last as he has always done, and Milano, Edmunds, Poyer, and Hyde are going to tattoo the guy. How much you Edelman doesn’t make the out of one of the two Bills games. Not best cause I want him hurt, but a QB known for holding onto the ball too long and a tiny WR who is by the way 34, getting crushed by a top 3 defense for 5e last few years. God I hope McD puts this pic on the bulletin board now. Gugs, he’s reformed.

  13. For obvious reasons 2017, and 19, but 2004 at least we had hope. I know we lost with our starters to the Steelers back ups, but our O Line as Ross Tucker has said more than once, they were down to scrubs off the streets as everyone was hurt. If we just could have beaten them, who knows. Maybe Mularkey could have rolled with Bledsoe, and had more time vs. the debacle that ensued. I don’t hate Mularkey like a lot of older guys here. He pulled off a slew of wins that season after starting 0-3. Bottom line is we have the potential for a head coach and GM to not only with McD through 2025, but alsoBeane coming soon the same thing. Then I’m dreaming now, but we extend another five years and the gang is together a minimum of 13 years and growing. As MLK said and yes a bad reference, that we keep these two here for the next 17 years and are a perennial playoff team.
  14. Very good point GB. The downside is it is relatively widely known Ramsey is very good, but White is known to be even better. The upside is we have just under $20 mil. in cap space ranked 13th, and the Rams are the 31st with $4 mil. Now, we know already it is almost a given the cap hits the floor at $175 mil. so Ramsey getting a jump from the current top player at $16.7 moving all the way up to $19 mil. is a stretch. There are other reasons, but Diggs shook free for not only his behavior, but they were tight on space and picks. Beane as always finds a way to pry a top tier WR free. Well the Rams won’t have $, Ramsey’s been good, but will they shake a bunch of players free to keep him. As it was they had to give a lot of picks for him from Jax. I don’t know. You do make a good point GB.
  15. Bills to Pay, thanks for the find, and Oliver and Williams are most likely here for a practice squad slot. One thought from the Sirius training camp show yesterday stuck out on the Beane slot. He said to Pat and Mills in this odd off season, they proactively signed a number of veteran free agents to provide depth and needed position groups. His rationale was he needs guys that can come in and use their experience to contribute to the team. In a normal year, we would be working out more UDFA and can find some gems. I’m paraphrasing, but he has prepared in this off season for not only a three deep option at each position group, but also in all three phases of coaching, so who is option 1, 2, and 3 on who calls the game given a positive test for COVID. It was a revealing interview and gave a little more info. (Nothing earth shattering) than we typically get on a WGR interview. For those who have on their phone the Bills camp tour is now up on demand on Sirius. I do appreciate the article link, and just shows Beane is always looking ahead and staying ahead of problems.
  16. Milton, I did a quick search the other day and Darius Slay is the highest at $16.7 mil., and Byron Jones at $16.5 mil., lastly Xavien Howard at $15.5 mil. James Bradbury is fourth at $14.5 mil. So that’s a big leap for Tre in a year and a decreased cap year at $20.5 mil./yr. What is more likely is $18 mil./yr for $72 mil. If I’m in his camp, this is a rare situation where he might want to stay on the 5th year option before an extension as he is more likely to get it in two years the $72 mil. By 2021, you would think we should have the fan issue resolved. If they extend while on the option year over five years it stretches the $ out and brings the $18 mil. lower. There is no way this Bills team is going to let one of the best players on defense in the league go especially when they have a defense built from the back forward like BB constructed in NE.
  17. Some people are overthinking it. They didn’t draft Moss because DS fumbled although a problem. Remember on the Giants when Barber fumbled early in his career and his coach worked with him on his security skills with the ball. Barber had a bad habit of holding with his hand and having it too far away from the inside of the elbow. If you remember McCoy would hold the ball sometimes too far away from the secure spot which always made me nervous, but he rarely fumbled. It’s a bad habit of mine as I played LB, but also RB. I also coached my sons in flag, then tackle football for awhile so I’m used to teaching fundamentals to young boys. If DS can get that ball secured better, the punching out or just plain fumbling will decrease. Moss is a great compliment and forget about Covid, RB’s get hurt so to have two quality ones will make it easier to keep the ground game going. I’m happy for the pick, and glad we don’t have to worry about a contract extension for three to four years. Juxtaposed, I don’t see DS having anything to worry about Moss supplanting him. Motor will probably be seen a lot between the 20’s, and Moss Should get more time on 3rd and 1, or in the red zone.
  18. They are not paying $10 mil. which is what he wants for a slot CB or Safety given Dr. Poyer and Mr. Hyde. So$9-10 mil. for a slot CB. No thanks guys. He’s a good player and those who are light at Safety, ok, but he’s played CB, not Safety, and paying that $ for those positions can be reserved for those weak in Secondaries. That is our best position group adding all. It is too bad, but respect his decision Gaines didn’t stay as when he is healthy, he’s good. He didn’t. Moving on. We’re not getting at the end of August some top outside CB. It’s not happening. Oh, and I just heard on NFLR White didn’t allow 1 TD In 2019, and the DB’s did not allow 1 deep TD from their secondary overall.
  19. I was hoping for our non Sirius TSW guys, we could give them updates. Motor’s interview was cool on his friendly competition with Moss, and he being impressed with him. Allen mentioned he was impressed everyone else was cleaned up eating and he saw G. Davis still out working on the jugs machine so more on the Davis love fest. We’ll see. Im listening now and Pat is saying Deshawn Watson has 10 game winning drives, Allen 8 in less years, and Bridgewater, 6. Pretty cool stuff. I have a little time today so I’ll update just play mini Yolo given the guys that don’t have the service.
  20. Yeah, I didn’t want to burst you’re bubble this morning, but they’ve doing all of these virtually. It’s not far off from Sal and the local guys I think are doing their interviews and podium press conferences virtually. The NFL didn’t allow them on campuses. I haven’t heard them at any of the ones I listen to as normally I go to the gym at 5 or 5:30am every morning so I listen to the day before training camp show on the way to and from the gym. You can tell as in the past you can hear all of the background noise in past years. I was able to catch these two a couple of years ago at their Tampa stop. Kirwan lives in Naples, so he always does the Tampa one, but in the past was it an open practice on that day or not. Correct Disco. That’s why I connect my car Accts to my sons car so we both get to listen to the show.
  21. Beane’s on talking about a three deep plan for coaches and position players and the desire to pick up more veteran free agent depth vs. a normal year where it’s a UDFA rookie.
  22. Good Grief? You’ve been watching Charlie Brown specials with you’re kids again. ????
