  1. Bease, Bease, Beasley. God I hope he frustrates the heck out of BB this week. This week is going to be fun listening to NFLR and WGR in “what is wrong with Cam?”
  2. Virgil, as always, bravissimo. I liked you’re point on Beasley as well as others. I’ve moved my eyes to him more times than not, and I swear he is always open. Hopefully, Daboll gave him more direction to keep an eye on him even if it was simply Brown was out. I like Kroft so I’m doing my own 180 Virgil. He’s a reliable TE, and has good hands. Knox needs to earn his way on the field. He’s still young so I’m sure he’ll grow, but it needs to be on the practice field until such time he can catch the easy and hard ones. It was nice to see the defense tighten up in the second half, and yes it was the Jets, I know.
  3. Can you explain? They are 5-2, took a risk on Murray when he had Rosin only drafted a year earlier and just beat the undefeated Seahawks in an OT battle. I’m not saying I disagree with you, but I don’t understand the perspective. So far the Cardinals look very good and are in the toughest division in the NFL. Look what SF as beaten up as they are with top talent did to the Pats, the Seahawks didn’t lose a game until last night, and the Rams are solid. I can see them beating the Bears.
  4. How about that throw? Murray is a lot better than people give him credit. Angry birds back into it. 10-7. Can’t believe how stupid the Texans coach was to let Hopkins go.
  5. Um, what? When someone wants to clean this up, great. I have no idea, maybe the Gin and Tonics are getting to a person or two what any of this means. If you want to discuss the Oats, I’m sure there will be more than enough threads to discuss. I wouldn’t say anything until I know what looks good on the injury report or back to full practice report. Until then, it’s not even worth discussing as who we have matters as much as how the Pats played.
  6. Yo Man, us middle aged farts have to get up in the morning. Bills, ok. Be miserable tomorrow and deal with it, but I like these teams, not so much to get 4-5 hours of sleep. Have to get my beauty sleep. I can use all the help I can get. Trust me. Good TD from Seattle.
  7. In what world did any of us think we would be 5-2, to the Pats 2-4. Karma’s a birch. God I hope we get healthy this week.
  8. Toss up game. Seattle is not a joke. That’s silly. Wilson is on lace for MVP. Their defense is horrible. It’s going to be 27-24 someone as I’m not willing to predict this one. It’s way too close and Arizona is better than many think as they are out west. Should be fun until I fall asleep. It’s what happens when you get to late 40’s and you get up at 5 am everyday.
  9. You’re tough Gugs. The guy is playing with a hurt back. It’s why I don’t want him playing today. Rest and let the back spasms or whatever heal so he is ready for a tough couple of weeks with the Pats and Hawks. Yeah, it was Fredex. Remember the Bears game where he made the best stiff arm I’ve seen in awhile from a Bills player to get in the end zone. Before that we’d have to go to Beast when he played for us.
  10. I didn’t take this thread that seriously given the available cap, and cap next year, but there is an article in the SU paper this morning about a possible trade for Dalvin Tomlinson (Giants), or Tim Settle (Washington). Tomlinson is a little over $1.1 mil, and the made the comment Settle is even cheaper, about $800k, and is the 5th best rated DT against the run. He’s under contract through 2021 as well, so this is one that does make sense. We can afford this contract, need help against the run badly, and kind of fills the Star role. If he works out really well, I’m not sure of any cap savings cutting Star. I’m not advocating that as I like Star, but it’s a consideration if Settle immediately made our run defense significantly better. Allows the other guys who are more of a 3 technique player to do their job. Read the article guys as it’s on the main board and tell me you’re thoughts. I just like plugging a hole with a very manageable contract that doesn’t rob from next year that much. Why they stated he could be available is the Red....., are so deep on their line, and they are now at 1-5 in their record. Then, the reporter made the comment that Rivera and McD have a strong relationship and would be most likely willing to work with each other on a reasonable trade. He was convincing to me, and he stated could make more sense than Tomlinson especially as we’d have a young DT for two years, not one with Settle. I liked it as it was smart and affordable. It’s better than silly comments about players that would never be traded and is not incredibly expensive that we can’t afford.
  11. Hap, I liked you’re idea on the Broncos CB. He would be a minimum contract, and right now we could use it. We really can’t afford anyone with a high contract, but we wouldn’t have to use a draft pick next year to get him. Good call bud.
  12. Or Chand man, the Jests don’t get a first down until midway through the 4th quarter like last week in Miami. These guys have phoned it in for the season. It’s dead man walking for Gase at this point and everyone in that locker room knows it.
  13. The Ravens are definitely desperate as my spec is they have lost twice in the first round of the playoffs, and do not think they can keep up with the Chiefs. He’s demanding a new contract next year so they either dump him as he’ll want serious $, or in a Covid cap year they will have to purge a number of contracts and gave up resources now to trade for him this year. It was not worth it IMO.
  14. FWIW, Feliciano could have been activated by last night by 5pm, per Sal C. They must have made the decision to hold off until next week, but since he’s been practicing for a couple of weeks, he probably will get activated this week. We can only hope that opens up running lanes for the RB’s.
  15. No and Agreed! There’s nothing cheap enough or worth it on defense or TE, and we only have $3.5 mil. left, and next year we are $2.5 mil. over if the cap drops to $175 mil. Beane does not want to give up draft picks as cheap labor in a Covid cap year.
  16. “What am I? Ubb, ubb, blah! I’m a zit, get it.” Mr. Blutarski, 0.00. (Darnold). Mr. Daniel Day Lewis, you have no grade point average. All incomplete (Gase).
  17. “Germans, Pearl Harbor. Don’t stop him he’s rolling.” Great movie when I was in a Fraternity in college. It was a must. One of my buddies when we had a toga party would put mustard on his toga like Bluto. He actually looked a little like him and had the same frame.
  18. It’s going to be the Diggs, Beasley, Davis show with either Singletary or Moss or Yeldon, and maybe Kroft. I seriously doubt has hardly any snaps today.
  19. Screw that. Josh Allen to Diggs 20 yards down the field for an 80 yard run. TOUCHDOWN!!!!!!!!! 14:32 minutes left on the 1st Quarter.
  20. You’re a class act Hap. Congrats Tyler and family. That’s wonderful.
  21. Well played Ktulu my friend, well played. I don’t drink beer often, but when I do, I drink Dos Equis’s. Brady is playing well. Several posters hate Brady so much, they have vitriol and understandably for him. He just beat Rodgers and the undefeated Packers 38-10 last week and they outside of maybe the Hawks were the hottest team in the NFC. With AB, who I can’t stand as a person, He and BA who coached him in Pitt early in AB’s career may think this is the final spot to win the SB. Brady doesn’t look like he’s trying to make $, but wants to prove he can win the championship without BB. If we get our crap worked out, would love to see us face the Bucs in the SB, and beat them. They just look farther ahead than us.
  22. We should be looking for players who are on teams on sale like NO, Philly, Giants, MN, and Jests etc. Either way over the cap, or they are going nowhere. I understand Q. Williams, even Ertz although hurt, or one of the MN guys, but NO’s guys are old. Guys like McCafrey, and Cox are either too expensive or would never be dealt ever. Thats like previous years we had posters saying trade for Rodgers. Like that would happen.
  23. Thanks for being the voice of reason Hap. There is a pervasive element on this board looking for any reason to bring doubt, trash, or just tweak people For being real Bills fans. It is what it is and I don’t care as we’ll win tomorrow with the practice squad and many will be very unhappy. Can’t wait to celebrate with you tomorrow at 4:30 pm, as you said when we win by 1, 7, 10, or 30. Bottom line, a win. 5-2, and the ridiculous fools of the Jests will be 0-7. I just remember how bad it sucked when the Steelers backups beat us to keep us out of the playoffs with Mularkey the helm. Granted, our O Line was down to grabbing guys off the streets, but it still stunk as we finished 9-7 and with that one more win would have made the WC. We weren’t good enough, and the Jests will feel that point again tomorrow. I know it’s a fans opinion as coaches and players don’t think this way, but my confidence is such that if we sat White, Brown, Milano, and Edmunds, we will still beat these clowns. We need them for the Cheats and Hawks. I hope they air on the side of caution. Even if they dressed who can push through it and play, but sit with our backups playing unless we absolutely needed them, I’m cool. I’d rather have these guys for a real opponent and win by 1, then push the issue and win by 14, but maybe some miss next week. Prioritize. I know it’s a fan’s opinion so before you knock me, I already know it.
  24. I just saw on NFLN they did come to a one year agreement, but still suspended and in COVID 19 protocol until week 9. Rappaport stated Brady’s nudging helped push it through. I don’t know again how relevant this deal is for the team as they already have Godwin, Evans, Brate and Gronk. That’s a lot of targets so we’ll see. Personally, I wish the guy would just go away, but whatever. At least he’s not on the Bills.
