  1. Im with you Shaw in the competition. The real question are they taking it easy this week on White, Edmunds, Milano, and Brown. Outside of walk through, I certainly hope they don’t do anything with them this week. As much as almost everyone can’t wait to see the win this week, the following two weeks are brutal and will need everyone to compete.
  2. Don’t shoot him, you’ll just make him mad! Santa Maria, it’s MONGO! Mongo’s not a who, he’s a WHAT!
  3. Good points GB. Whether it’s right or left tackle, he’s solid, it’s just that he gets hurt a lot. He’s 35 and not the future. He’s good depth for now.
  4. Pass. He’s been dumped by the Giants, Saints, and Panthers.
  5. You mean like beating the 5-2 Rams, who just beat the 5-1 Bears. The Dolphins are no slouches and the Raiders record just went backwards, but will show by the end of the year they are a good team. After we win this week, you’ll make the same argument and we’ll be 6-2. The Hawks and Cardinals will be tough tests.
  6. I can lend you my beta max. Oh yeah, wait my eight track player, oh, uggh, ok my beeper. It’s what the kids are doing.
  7. Need some rabbit ears buddy. I can sell cheap. Can you just use the Reynolds hat I have for you while you’re watching fir the best experience? 🤪 Good joke my friend. You’re up there with Ridgeway, and on and on. There is a select group like House that just provide more than enough comedy.
  8. Old fart and for the record, it’s using you’re middle finger backwards while the other one covers it on both sides, not that came from a fraternity y I know and am sworn to secrecy. No huddle, donuts and 72, shh. You know the shake you must die. Have fun guys. This became fun after I went to work. God bless, and how about we just agree, kick the ver licking crap (I think that’s ok with Hap and Chandler) out of the cheats. Then as I said to you Hap, how about a repeat in some weeks. 6-0 sounds good in the division.
  9. Well said Stable and to add they compliment each other. It’s not an either or, and they are both playing hurt. I’m just hopeful the four we need all play Sunday (Edmunds, White, Milano, and Smoke Brown).
  10. And two TE’s, a solid O Line, and finally a running game. Last year, the Bucs strengths were in the pass and against the run. Now their secondary has significantly improved, and the running game is coming together. Still a lot of season left, but the Bucs are hit right now. They destroyed the Packers and then the Raiders. As far as Allen, 16 TD’s, 4 picks but (the one against the Rams was BS, and it wasn’t Allen’s fault on the Roberts one), and over 67% Completion is pretty good to me. Even with no TD’s at the Jets, he still moved the ball over 300 yards, and had almost a 7% completion%. We need Brown though. I hope if he sits all week, he can make the lineup on Sunday. If not, I still think we can win as Milano is slowly being moved back to form, and you can only hope White and Edmunds are given a lot of rest this week.
  11. So was the man on our wall, the fandemonium, Van (we love ya) Miller, but then again this is non Bills guys. You just reminded me with you’re comments of Van. Mr. Miller was a nice guy, just like Larry Felser, and was lucky to get to know them as my dad worked as an executive for the Buffalo News for 44 years. It was a fun college job for me getting to know some of those guys. I know Van wasn’t a News guy, but he and my dad became friends over the years. Good take Bruce.
  12. Trading for anyone for a high pick when we need our picks for a Covid cap year is not smart. It’s also short sighted and we are about to start a long race with Miami for the next couple of years.
  13. The obvious is Romo, amd keast yes, Collinsworth is a pain. On the radio since you said not Buffalo, Gene Deckerhoff is funny to me, but biased as I love down here. “FIRE THE CANNONS”. He also does FSU games.
  14. Let me top you off with that glass. Good points Donuts, and feel similarly. I’m less concerned about the Jets for awhile as yes, they probably get Lawrence, but will have to do a complete rebuild. A couple of years from now if Douglas picks the right coach, and if he hits on most of his draft picks, then ok. Miami, on the other hand spent $235.8 mil. in the off season on free agents, filled holes with 11 draft picks, and has another 10 or so for next year. Not as concerned about Miami this year as Tua should have some lumps in his first few starts, so we should win the gulp, division, but 100% agree Miami v. Buffalo’s rivalry is on the horizon for years. Flores looks to be a good coach, and has more than enough talent to build a good team. We on the other hand have some holes and problems on depth, so if not a cheap option like two examples I’ve given in other threads with a young DT, we’ll need those draft picks. Giving away anything more than a late pick and absorbing a smaller contract is a mistake. Beane’s smart. He knows how to make good decisions. On the positive side, we have a couple of people who spotty have shined a little, ie. Dane Jackson and Epenesa. Sorry, didn’t want the imogies.
  15. And twice. A sweep would be nice. Even after we hopefully win this week at 6-2, and them at 2-5, I’ll wait to see how they fare against the Ravens, Cardinals, and Rams. Now seeing those three losses and a second loss to us would at best finish them off at 7-9. That’s when the bottle gets uncorked and we can all have a metaphoric glass of bubbly celebrating the demise of the Cheats.
  16. Settle or Tomlinson from Washington or Nj Giants for either $800k or $1.4 mil. Moving on. They are both solid run stuffing 1 technique DT’s.
  17. 89, you’re making way too much logical sense when there are so many Madden/Fantasy people and by nature not reality thinks we should trade for Donald, and 20 other people that will never happen in a million years. I can’t stand you’re common sense. All kidding aside, thanks for injecting a little reality.
  18. Let’s just hope the guys get healthy this week. Then will be a fun game. I wouldn’t predict this game until we know the final injury report at the end of the week. I believe we can win, just not sure by how much.
  19. Blue, not to the level of what he would make with a new contract, so, so. No. He lost $ because he gambled and lost. I have nothing against him, but he just pushed for the same $ over 4 years vs. the same / yr. over 5 yrs. Now he has a catastrophic injury, and I certainly hope and pray he comes back. I never thought he was a bad guy at all, just gambled and lost.
  20. Jetsfan20, I agree with Hapless if you come on here and happy to be conciliatory, and honest you are a Jets fan, and want to give you’re perspective, works for me. You’re always welcome here. I’m very sorry for you’re fan base as I can’t even tease my Jets buddies who are transplants from that area to here in FL. I never liked friends of mine who are Pats fans, enjoying rubbing it in when I would be so frustrated with this dysfunctional team for 17 years. Anyone who is a fan of another team, is honest about it, and wants to give a Jets perspective, cool with me. I like having a competitive division so it’s a little exciting for another team in the East in the Dolphins as they have as Sal. says an arrow up. As long as we win the division, it would be nice seeing a good Dolphins and Jets team. My concern for you’re team outside of the obvious of Gase will be gone, and Darnold will get traded, as I can’t see anyone else winning the Lawrence sweepstakes. The issue as much as I loved Ralph for bringing back our Bills from the 1940’s Bills, and keeping the team here at all costs even in death, is he was in our way. You’re owners are horrible. I do think you’re GM will get his own hire in a coach (Bieniemy would be my choice especially for Lawrence), and with the fire sale should have a lot of draft picks to be good in a couple of years. That’s what Miami decided to do with selling off a bunch of people, and in my eyes hired a solid coach in Flores. That makes the East relevant so yes, the Jets could take a couple of years, but maybe their could be hope for you guys. Miami has hope as well. We can all agree watching the Pats at 2-4, and with some hope 2-5 next week, is a great thing. Honestly, I want us to own the East, but I’d love to see the Fins and Jets down the road competing for wildcard spots every year. That makes us better. Watching we hope the Pats going back to anonymity like the 90’s. is so sweet. My only advice is keep you’re avatar, speak honestly, and if you want to be on our board, welcome. That’s sincere. For you’re sake, not to be mean, but because I’d love to see you get Lawrence and a really good coach hope you don’t win a game this year. Then you can rebuild.
