When I was younger I worked out at a different gym in Tampa, I used to see a lot of these guys. Tampa is the hub for pro wrestling. I used to spot the British Bulldog, Jim the Anvel Neinhardt. They actually weren’t bad guys, but juiced to the nth degree. As long as you didn’t act like a fan and just a guy in the gym, they would be cool. My friend, he’s just trying to tweak you like he does to others. Saban was our best coach as you’re right, he won our only two AFL Championships, but he’s correct he left the year of the first AFL/NFL championship game. This is before my time, but my father thought if Ralph didn’t run off Saban, they probably would have won that third AFL championship and went to the 1st SB. He did say, he never thought we could have competed well against Lombardi and GB. My top in order are: Saban Marv Knox McD. Sal made a good point yesterday in that we have been able for the most part to take the opposing offense best thing away like Henry, allowing the run to keep Mahomes from killing us in the air, but he said we’re just not good enough this year to take care of everything. The morning guys on WGR made the point that we were going to most likely at all costs stop the run game as Cam has no one to throw to so for the, to win, they have to be able to do it in the air. That makes a great deal of sense to me, and they discussed how we shouldn’t change what put us at 5-2 which is 11, or 14 personnel. To me it’s simply not changing what we do , but executing like we did in the first four games. Their secondary is old. We are not built like the 49ers so it’s a waste to try and execute on something we haven’t done. We don’t have the personnel for 21, 12, or 13 personnel.

Chuck Knox is one of the winningest coaches in the history of the NFL, but like Polian, he was very strong willed and Ralph chose his $ guy Littman over Polian, as well as got rid of Knox who took this team from losing to the Fins 20 times in the 70’s, to winning against them and the division and making the playoffs twice. He blew it. I will always love mr. Wilson for what he did do, vs. what he didn’t, but he was willing at times to pay for players. First, White’s contract is $14.3 and $14.6 mil. In 2020 and 2021, not $20 mil. It’s right on OTC. White is 25 and Gilmore is 30. Gilmore under the current contract is $24 mil. In 2020 and $16.4 mil. In 2021, so would have to be reworked. I don’t see anyway we could afford both contracts. Now I’m not sure how much the Pats eat if this contract, but I just don’t see it. I don’t remember him hating Buffalo, just wanted a payday. I completely agree if we had both this defense would be absolutely incredible, but don’t see in any version we can afford both of them.
