A good point backing this up is Spain gets cut by us, and in three days is a starting Lineman for Cincy. Beane has tried his best on both lines to provide depth. Just listening to Sal on his spot, and even though I caught two games of the angry birds this year as my son likes them since he was 7, I didn’t notice as much the Cards have a tendency to play a 0-6-5 defense like the Pats tried against us. This could be another Pats game where I’m not a fantasy guy, but could be a good Moss/Singletary day. The birds are better against the pass. I still think the return finally to health of Brown and Feliciano is a big thing for our offense. Not sure if Morse will make it back and truly hope he is ok with all of those concussions. If by chance he can and wants to come back, this line will look even better.

It’s not going to happen. The state and nation’s economy is still terrible, the Pegulas are projected to be $360 mil. light in their businesses combined, the NFL teams alone all lost a ton of $ with no fans, so that likelihood is not for a few years at least. Nothing will be decided until the lease is up and maybe not even at that point. I’m sure the Pegulas want to do it, and have been preparing for a downtown stadium, but they couldn’t have predicted nor could anyone this pandemic. As far as the Cardinals, it looks like it will be another shootout.

Every team in the league has analytics guys/gals, and that is part of their job. They also run the numbers of when to go for it on 4th and short, etc.

For the record, some on this board have gone overboard Milano is incredibly injury prone. Year Games Games Started 2017 16 5 2018 13 13 2019. 15. 15 2020 5 5 So his rookie he was available for the whole season, but he only started 5 meaning they didn’t know what they had yet. He missed only 3 games in 2018, and only 1 game in 2019. He did miss 3 games this far and a total of 7 missed games in 4 years. How many other players avg. missing less than 2/year. Granted he will go on IR for 3 so even with those added, that is an average of 2.5/yr. A different positIon, but how many games has JJ Watt or Gronkowski missed. Watt has missed 33 games over the last 5 years. Gronk has missed 13 games in the last 4 years if you skip the year he was out. My point is simply Milano had two injuries this year, but has played most games they wanted to put him in the game. It’s better to air on the side of caution giving him a month to truly heal and be ready for the run to the playoffs.

I’m glad they are having him sit for four weeks inclusive of the bye. If he’s not 100%, and the 49ers still have all of those players, you could even see them either on a pitch count, or sitting that game as well.

Confidence is vague to me. I’ve expected before the season we would with the East, finish maybe 11-5 (10-6 at worst), and win a playoff game. I still expect that to happen and never thought we arrived and will win the SB. I was hoping over the next two years that we get there.
