  1. Well it wouldn’t be a Thursday if I didn’t say, STOP YELLING AT ME! Merry early Christmas buddy. Now let’s kick the 9ers butts Monday. I can definitely see 9-3.
  2. Donuts, you’re whacky! You son of a gun. It’s like the girl in high school you don’t know if they are up for the dance Saturday until Friday. Not that Mercy, Frontier, or Immaculata girl did that to me. Can you tell I’m southtowns. At least I’m not a scourge like Timon guys. Just kidding, I know you already know you’re not as good as Frannies guys. 👍😏
  3. You mean the Kyle Williams, for a 1 yard touchdown, if you took 3 seconds to google it in 2918. That one? Google works if you weren’t trying to be a butthead. You see every real Bills fan knows it. Would you like me to copy so you look like a moron? C’mon, don’t be dumb. Every Bills fan knows this play. You know, real Bills fans.
  4. Victory, that’s an easy mistake so no worries bud. For a point of reference, it was a trade with Hotlanta where he wasn’t really doing anything. The above posts have nailed it. Steelers, Packers, Ravens, Chiefs, and I would add the Hawks. My reasoning on the Hawks, they have drafted pretty well with LBers, obviously Russel Wilson, and Metcalf. I just like how Carrol is not afraid to take chances. To the OP, you seem to be sincere not trying to turn this into a Beane bashing thread, and I appreciate it. I like what Beane has done these last few years, and reminds me of Polian. Not comparing the two, but Polian used to say on Late Hits on his weekly spot he tracked his drafts from the beginning. It was a somewhat vague response, but this HOF GM building three different teams stated his hit rate on drafting players was 57%. I respect that guy, and what he did for the Bills, Panthers, and Colts was amazing. So I guess my point is not scoring on every pick is not necessarily a bad thing as long as you hit more than miss. The one thing bad teams do is trying to be good too fast by buying expensive free agents and they don’t fit into a scheme approach. A good example is it isn’t a drafting one, but what has OBJ done for Cleveland? Not a lot because they didn’t have an overarching strategy. The teams above seem to draft the best players, and know what they want their team to look like. They have an approach and vision. It’s not by accident, the Chiefs, Ravens, Steelers, Packers, and I would add us these last three years have fielded competitive teams.
  5. Agreed, Daboll has made a name for himself across NFL writers for not just trick plays, up his style of play calling. Personally, I like the trickery plays. Wasn’t it cool when Kyle caught that TD pas before he retired. That was classy how McD and Daboll called that for Kyle. I probably like it because it seems to work most of the time. I don’t if you could call some of the end around McKenzie as trick plays, but I love when they work. I know it didn’t work for the Chargers game, but it has worked for quite often these past couple of years. I was really happy we retained him this year. Makes me wonder if we go to 7 next year adding Hodgins into the active roster vs. practice squad. It could be fun having two big bodies out there. We don’t seem to use our TE’s well for a variety of reasons so going down to 3 and adding a FB could be good. I still think one of the running problems we’ve had is not just the O Line, but losing DiMarco as a lead blocker. He may have been more valuable than earlier thought. Kind of like we including me underestimating Star.
  6. Well Sal pointed out the Bills defense for all the rantings have taken away the number one weapon of the opposing team. DK Metcalf, Derrick Henry, etc. Even though we sacrificed the run against KC, we still keep Mahomes completely in check. So I expect they will try and stop the run so once one dimensional, Mullins will be pressured and make mistakes against White, Poyer, and Hyde. I’d love to see a few Safety blitzes with Poyer. He is so good when they make that call. The game won’t be easy, but I do expect next Tuesday we’ll be 9-3. It. Just might be tighter than some think.
  7. Well he’s our sack leader with 5 and the team is on pace for around 46 sacks. Not great, but also not horrible. It would be nice to rack up the pace with a much more aggressive style than they started in the beginning of the season.
  8. Zero, with those teams, I would add the Jets and Philly if the coach is fired. The Jets owners would need to give a lengthy contract to anyone of substance as. They are in a long term rebuild, and Philly is so far over the cap, and Wentz has regressed with an aging team. It’s why I just don’t see a high end talent who is able to take his pick, would to you’re point Zero, want Houston, or LA. A head coach is so far ahead when they have a solid QB,and cap space especially next year with. The cap almost assured dropping to $175 mil.
  9. Living here, I don’t know what to believe. When interviewed Arians emphatically states Brady is choosing his plays he likes and they call them in the game. That is diametrically opposed to Arians historically liking a QB who throws downfield, whereas Brady has made a name for himself throwing short, and accurate passes. Until lately, I thought. Brady was doing fine, just getting in sync with his receivers which was expected in the beginning of the season. He’s just so inaccurate downfield, yet they keep trying it. I love the Bills, and like the Bucs, but for someone who wanted this to work for the Bucs, it just doesn’t look like it’s working. They needed that Rams game.
  10. Fwiw, go to google, best TE’s for the 2021 draft. They detail how this draft in 2021 is projected to be better than 2020, and 2019. There are some excellent players there, and I know we could use several other positions, but if we had a generational TE, It would be worth it as a high pick.
  11. Well you know it hits the spot, if you’re laughing hysterically, then get insatiably hungry, and then paranoid Gunner Bill is falling off his chair. 😂
  12. Thank you Ridge Yoda. I know the factors regarding the decision to keep postponing as the Ravens kept getting newer cases, but it still sucks the 49ers followed all their strict protocols, and were punished for it basically throwing a game by putting a practice squad WR as a QB. I know the league’s position is they won’t postpone for competitive, but sure could be construed as just that. At least we’ve not to deal with that yet. TE’s didn’t matter. We barely use ours anyway which is why we survived that one.
  13. Someone else in another thread mentioned they wouldn’t be surprised if they Cheats move on from Cam, they could pick up Jimmy G. If cut from SF. It’s conceivable SF could bundle their first and second to move up and get a decent QB in the draft.
  14. Great sign if the Bills FO staff is sought after by other teams. It’s a sign, we have great top end people like Beane and McD and they hire and develop well.
  15. Pat and Mills broke down his contract and they can get out of Jimmy G. For not a big dead cap hit next year. Not speculating they should, just they can if that is the direction they want.
  16. Wrotto, Mr. Roboto. Ive already detailed this once, but maybe you didn’t read it. Milano 2017. Games available, 16, started 5. He was a rookie and they didn’t know what they had. Not injuries. 2018. Games available, 13, started 13. 2019. Games available 15, started 15 2020. Games available, 5, started 3. He is not a huge injury issue. He has been injured a bit this year, but again how many begged for us to get JJ Watt, yet he’s been out more than available. How about Gronk? How about .... You can name a ton of players who have missed a ton more games percentage wise than Milano.
  17. No worries my friend. If people are honest about their dissenting views, I’m cool. I won’t rewrite my stuff as there is too much of that sometimes. As Rodney said, can’t we all just get along. I don’t mean that disparaging. I think he was onto something 28 years ago.
  18. As long as we are contributing to asinine threads, let’s just sign Manute Bol (7’7”). He can stand there and get completely ducked out by Hopkins, or insert whatever top WR you want. I get people upset about the Cardinals loss, but we had three of the top DB’s in the league all around Hopkins in White, Hyde, and Poyer. If you want to make the argument to not have the fourth be the new guy, and put maybe Diggs in there as he is one of the best at contested catches, I get that as him knocking it down would be nothing. Davis, a rookie I doubt would have a better outcome. They had to defend as has been talked to death two plays. Murray could have thrown 15 yards out and then had a safe pass on the second attempt with four seconds left. The defensive coaching staff made the right call. We had the, beat and the high hands won on a fluke play. That’s it. If any of you have played sports at a high level, the best team doesn’t always win. Look at the Raiders, a far superior team to the Falcons. They had their butts handed to them, but I would still take the Raiders 9 times out of 10.
  19. This is great for us. Inside, perfect weather, easy to pass, and facing a running team without their QB, and the best TE in the league up there with Kelce. Couldn’t be any better for us. Go Bills! Also great fir Bass on any kicks.
  20. Hap, I agree with you, but be honest as a poster who you are. If you’re a fan of team x, y, or z, no problem. Have a dissenting point if you, no problem. Just be straight about what you are doing, and I have no issues at all. If a Bills fan doesn’t like their opinion, don’t respond, or give you’re counter point. The annoying thing one poster having discussions with himself, or acting passive aggressive. Saying one fleeting thing positive and then trashing the team trying to rile people up. That is maybe what matter is trying to say. I don’t know as I can’t speak for him. Ottom line is we have an excellent management and coaching staff, and if people fans of other teams want to say differently, no worries at all. I respect them for being honest. Then I’ll choose whether I respond or not. Anyway, you mods do a great job and yes, we should respect the good things you do, including respecting dissenting views of fans from other teams. I can only speak for myself, but deceipt, and a passive aggressive attitude I have little patience for in this world. I choose not to want to be around people with these intentions. Again, thank you for you’re tolerance.
  21. It’s not your accident, we’ve changed this roster through free agency and the draft, not all hits, but as Polian said (HOF Polian) he tracked his hit rate in the draft lifetime at 57%. His words on Late Hits six. Months ago. We have excellent management, coaching, scouts, and an ownership group in the Pegulas who don’t mettle in football afairs like Snyder and Jerrah. We almost assuredly will make the playoffs in three of four years under this regime. Anyone can dissect every last call on clock management and play calling on these guys, but we are almost a lock for the East, finally have an explosive offense, and probably will go deeper this year. We have a great management team, coaching, head to toe, and we will kick butt going down the road. I’m even more proud of the Bills now than the Kelly years. During that time, Ralph opened his wallet for the players, but we didn’t have free agency until the end. This team is dealing with an NFL team in 2020. It’s a feat, we have a coach locked through 2025, and may not be advertised, but bet dollars to donuts (we either have a Beane contract done and quiet about it or will do so by the off season), and again owners who stay out of the way. For the youngins, this is going to historically be the best team we’ve fielded even better than the Kemp years. We haven’t done it yet, but we will. We will be known in about here years as one of the best teams in the NFL. By then, we will have 6 out of 7 playoff appearances, and bet we win the East multiple times, and go deeper each year. We have locked up some top positions very soon. A franchise QB, lock down CB, very solid LT, sound RB’s who are young and growing, most likely two very solid LB’s, and can rider these Safeties for awhile. Be happy to be a Bills fan guys. You will enjoy it for quite some time. Oh and let me mention, we’ve. Beaten more teams with winning records than pretty much anyone in the NFL, and lost outside of the Titans close to the others. We will be ready for the playoffs. If played right, we’ll have the speedster Brown, and fantastic Milano by then. We get those two really healthy, it’s a fun run in the playoffs. So enjoy 8-3, and hopefully next week, 9-3.
  22. Is it High Football IQ, or is it Penfield, or LB48, or Jets2020, or the other rJets, or the other 10 quasi avatars that is a bunch of crap. Real bills fans figured this out months ago. We’re just waiting until the mods say enough. They started the other day and applaud them for it. My humble advice. Don’t ever respond to a thread they start or a stupid post they state. Just like elementary school you’re mom told you. You just. Ignore these morons and they get bored as they are passive aggressive. Let them rant their stuff, and eventually no one bites.
  23. Virg, on you’re sleepless day, you’re still better than 95% of the guys on the board. Now take some Tylenol PM, get some rest, and we’ll look forward to post SF in no particular order. Thanks for the review. FWIW, don’t sell the Chargers short. They haven’t lost by 10 all year. They were beating the Bucs until the end, almost beat the Chiefs, and played tough all year. We didn’t lose the lead by memory the who game. I’m proud of our guys. Here’s to 9-3 next week. As far as Milano and Klein, if. Milano is healthy, we could actually play a base defense for once. Klein is a solid Strong side, Edmunds has made strides at the Mic, and Milano is excellent at the Wil. This means we may not have to do nickel all the time. That’s a good thing against the run. Good time for that with SF coming up.
