  1. Thanks Lime. Interesting read.
  2. Yes, Star. As far as Yannick, I’d love him here, but not at that price. Watt might be less costly. IDK, there are some reports he wants more than we can afford, but it’s all speculation at this point. I believed Beane when he said he wasn’t going to make any big splashes. We’ll see how it pans out.
  3. First nice thread Chongli. Regarding the Pats, I see the point. BB is 69 and most likely has no interest in a complete rebuild. As far as Darnold, he would have for first time a good line, weapons and a balanced team with a solid defense. If he doesn’t produce there, he’s a permanent backup. Chicago would be making a desperate move and that will fail.
  4. I know. Lime, I can tell you he like other substance abusers get pretty good at hiding their actions and lie, etc. Whether he had CTE or not, I do know in Tampa, he was a really positive force to help the needy. The news on that was not an exaggeration. I’m just sorry he didn’t get to the point where he reached out for help. For his sake I wish him peace and the family to get through their grief.
  5. Interesting take if they can make the $ works.
  6. It’s funny as I’m not old, but old enough to know I had to look up “Karen” on google to know the reference. Funny. Have fun with Karen.
  7. IDK, but you bring up a good point. It’s become a popular thought the majority of the country may be vaccinated by that time, now guys please no COVID talk as I’m only saying as it pertains to football attendance. It’s hard not to mention, but I’m not engaging a non football conversation so please no replies on anything but football. NJK, you still make a good point no matter the outside conditions, there still might be some restrictions to whatever %. I just hope whoever wants to go at that point can go, and I’ll either be there with you in spirit, or really be there. I love the excitement. Some things are worth the investment. Go Bills!
  8. That is our top need from what that goof stated months ago. Must focus on the backup QB. That was funny Huff. OP, I agree. So much has been said about CB opposite Tre, but we have three top flight people as DB’s, and I’m comfortable with the guys you stated. If we get that Edge Rusher, and Star back, we could get back to that top 4 defenses like we had the last two years prior to 20. Whether O Line, RB, Edge, and possible a replacement for Milano (which I hate that idea but it’s a possible reality).
  9. This just sounds like something out of the movie, major league. Why he would ever admit it is beyond me. I doubt they were getting drunk, but then again the most noteworthy female host for 20+ years in Tampa, was taken off the air when she was reporting from the gasparilla parade as she was hammered. The story they put out later was she was sick. Riiight? Anyone who knows Tampa, Gasparilla is as nuts as any St. Patty’s day parade. Open container is lifted.
  10. I respect you’re opinion ND, I just don’t know. They kept flip flopping him between tackle and guard that this year to me will be telling. If healthy and only at guard, if he’s a bust, ok, move on. I just think they weren’t sure where to place him until hurt. You might be right. My guess is they will evaluate in 2021 and then make a decision, whether starter, backup, ps, or cut.
  11. I love ya Chevy, but we just Busted playfully 78’s chops on a new thread for everyone being a cap casualty. My apologies 78 as you tried to rectify and changed you’re title to cap or possible cap casualties. If you guys want to start a new thread for the next 40 guys as cap casualties, but I’ll give 78 credit, he tried to get them lumped into one thread and would probably have 100 pages so we can just keep track of it. Im not a mod so whatever you guys want. This is going to get long meaning a new thread almost everyday if it’s a new one for every hit. You guys discuss and decide.
  12. If you’re referring to Watt, several people have already stated GB, Pitt., and NO are most likely out as they can’t produce the cap space for him, nor Tampa as one outlet purported as they have too many URFA they need to extend. TN and Buffalo are two viable choices. I guess I’m biased, but we are closer than TN to a ring, and I’m sure his people have already said Buffalos two needs are a pass rush and a rushing game. He can help with two of the glaring needs. Besides he’d fit right into McD’s culture and probably love to be on a rotation. Here he might play 60-65% vs. 85-90% in Houston, or maybe even less to 50%. Probably would help an already great career as with fresh legs, he can wreak havoc on defenses.
  13. It’s not that hard to just think through extensions, cap space, cuts, cap savings vs. dead cap, and the impact on the team. The other is cost of improvements. They can maneuver some $ for Watt, but they would need to be creative. Blowing up the team on defense and changing the fundamentals of what McD learned under Jimmy Johnson in Philly is crazy. He’s not going to do it. Nor should he.
  14. There are so many examples of underestimating Allen and the team, it just seems like white noise at this point. I expect next year the Bills and Allen will be marginalized again and I don’t care. If anything, hopefully provides more fuel for them to succeed even farther.
  15. I’m so sorry for his and family’s loss.
  16. Sorry, just listened so I spoke too soon. That was the most half arsed apology I heard in awhile. That dud is snarky. Loved the guy holding him to the fire. No worries. When Super Allen throws for let’s say 68% next year, and has another 46 TD’s (of course they’ll only say 37 as I guess the 8 rushing and 1 receiving which makes him special doesn’t count), maybe snarky will have to really eat his words. Keep goin SuperAllen. They’ll eat it one day.
  17. It’s getting salty already by Feb. Im glad some guys at least have the stones to change their opinion. I don’t mind the video. I’d love it but not a mod if people would every cap cut or URFA on the main thread. It would be much easier as I know Id check each morning. That’s going to get old fast if there are 20 threads started in the next three weeks whenever they feel someone might be available.
  18. I can see them if they consider valuable at $2.1 mil. We’ll see. It really depends what the Bills think of him juxtaposed to Ford.
  19. IDK, he was highly productive 2014-19. He had injuries so you’d have to know is he really healthy, and what will he cost. I was rooting his horn in August when we didn’t try and pull the trigger in Hooper who went to ATL. Im not against it. Trust Beane and we’ll be fine.
  20. Thx bud. I was hoping the same. I guess it depends on a lot of things. I know Ian, my oldest was on Team FL, and that was reffed well. One of his travel leagues as you know they end up getting noticed the most there, we had fouls that were ridiculous. The worst was me at a medical conference, and he was in Tallahassee, and hit full speed by a kid in the back of the neck just below the helmet. My wife was afraid to call me on it, and the coach who was a great one, threw the towel in on the game as the opposing team was so cheap. That was one of several but he and his little brother were playing 12 mos. a year, so they saw the good and bad. I loved them playing ball (football) and they were good at it, but knew as they aged, they both ended 5’9” and 5’10” so lax made sense for them. Their choices. Impressive you made it to you’re 40’s. Rock on brother.
  21. 29, I agree with just about everything, but my oldest son had 5 concussions from Lax and was. D1 full ride player. He was also a starting QB in some top teams I. FL. Lax is not that easy. My oldest was a middy. My younger was as well ,but fared better. They both played both sports. I’m just telling you when opponents are cheap and give you a shot in the back of the neck lower than the helmet, it’s not that easy. I’m happy for Hogan. It’s certainly not a non contact sport. I’m sure hogan will figure it out. Good for him.
  22. He was a great player for us and Donahoe like other decisions, blew it up. We weren’t that bad in the beginning of the drought. These dingbats made it much worse. Old news, but happy for Jr.
  23. Congrats to Jessica and I’m sure proud parents in the Pegulas.
