  1. It’s in NFL.com. Easy to find. I just scanned myself. I do agree Poyer should have received the nod, and if Beasely keeps going and repeats next year, I’d love to see him as well. Hard for a slot WR to get selected, but he’s at 950 yards now. I was surprised I did the math, and Beasely has a 9.3 yard avg, whereas Diggs has an 8.9 avg. My guess is Beasely if they don’t sit him and they shouldn’t, will finish with almost 1100 yards. Hypothetically if Diggs’ ankle/foot is fine, and he plays the last two seasonal games, he should finish with anywhere from 1500-1600 yards.
  2. Lime, do you really think Fitzy will play for another 10 years? If so, let’s sign him as our backup after the season. The Fish will probably try to extend him, but I bet if we came up with a competitive offer, he’d consider it. He’s always said this was his favorite spot. At this age and as good as Allen is playing, we won’t be at risk of. The stupid Flutie Johnson thing, so I guess I like where you’re heads at Lime.
  3. He has to play even if on a pitch count sometime before the playoffs so he gets in a rhythm. Now if Diggs’ foot is ok, I understand only giving Brown a couple of plays this week, and a little more against Miami. So much is predicated on his health, Diggs health, and so on. I trust (not the process as I’m even getting sick of that phrase) the medical staff, trainers, and himself to know when he’s ready.
  4. That’s exactly what I was thinking Sage. The Ravens have shown they are not a team that plays well from behind. We’ve pulled out to a lead in most games this year, and also when others have somewhat caught up in a few games, we seem to put the game in another gear and pull it out. The Ravens are a running team, and we can score much faster. Personally, I hope the Steelers win the first round, amd that whining knucklehead dances again on our logo, so insert (Milano, Poyer, Hyde) metaphorically decapitate him. I don’t mean seriously injured as much as this guys makes me want to move away from my general principle about not wanting guys getting hurt, but ring his bell knocking him out if the game so he has an entire season thinking of how stupid he was when the team was in a free fall.
  5. And what if Barkley is assymptomatic and is found out Sunday or the day after. Now you don’t have a backup for what, a quick look at a third string QB. Why? To what end, vs. Allen finishes out the season hot and tears it up against the Fish. Humiliate them so if they do play again in the playoffs, it’s in their head as it’s a sore wound.
  6. They would never start Fromm as if he had a positive COVID test, post game, we just lost our emergency QB in the playoffs. McD is much smarter than making that decision.
  7. Well said in that none of the teams that make the playoffs are second rate, but I am also not afraid of any team beating this Bills team that is playing hot in all three phases of the game. The Chiefs in the AFCC would be a huge ratings game for the networks. Thank god down here we just had CBS open up as the negotiations with TEGNA and DTV finally resolved. My understanding is NBC had the same problems up there so hopefully this has or will get worked out for you guys.
  8. A mortal sin, not just a genial sin (my catholic upbringing). Don’t forget boys, this is our rivalry going forward. The Jets, and now even the Lats are a hot mess. We will be ducking it out with the Dolphins for years, so just hear me out 😇(sorry happy, I couldn’t help myself).
  9. I hope they do it again. My ultimate fantasy is we beat the all time scoring record in the NFL championship this Monday from 1940 where the Bears beat the Red....., 73-0. Here’s to 74-0. BURY Belicheat.
  10. It doesn’t matter what Pittsburgh does. If we just keep the boot on the throat of NE and Miami, we have the #2 due to the Steelers loss tonight. No resting players unless really hurt. If Diggs needs a rest due to the foot, we can always insert Brown and make sure Diggs is ok for Miami. We can’t sit people nor should we as players are all about rhythm. They like a schedule and play each week. Im in the camp of 13-3 would be great for us. We haven’t accomplished that since 1991. The only time we went 13-3 was in 1990 and 91. That’s out of 60 YEARS so screw resting starters. We have gone 12-4 several times and I guess you could make the argument the best we’ve ever done is 12-2 in 1964 and won the AFL Championship. Again, if anyone is legitimately hurt, not just a little banged up, sit em. But if they are as healthy as they were in Denver, they play. They want to play anyway.
  11. What’s kind of crazy is the Browns can win the AFCN. The Browns have the Jets and Steelers, vs. the Steelers have of course the Browns at the end, but they have the Colts. After all of their whining, nothing would be more fun than the Steelers going into a free fall and finishing 11-5, while the Browns finish 12-4.
  12. I nodded off in the game. What fun. I never expected this one.
  13. JB, wasn’t you bud and has been corrected. I was replying to you’re positive quote, not the second part at all.
  14. J, I don’t watch porn bud and sent you a personal message to explain. I’ve been in a sports locker room with guys and at the gym to hear lots of disgusting things I care never to repeat. It’s why I stated it in public. Bottom line, don’t be gross as far as others.
  15. I won’t say it, but change the Chi, for Quee. It’s disgusting Jaronimo, and I definitely was not speaking about you at all. You’ve never been anything but a gentleman on this board. My daughter is not a football fan other than the boys and I are fanatics, but I know a lot of women on this board, and must be my St. Francis upbringing, but I don’t care for that stuff. Mods handle almost all of it. Sorry if I’m acting like an alter boy, but a little miss here and there is fine with me. That word is seriously offensive to a woman, just like the C word. That’s all, and accept my apologies if you thought I meant something about you. Just scroll the thread. You’ll see it.
  16. Others stated Allen’s positive comments in the off season, but he is on the Opening Drive on NFLR usually on Tuesday mornings. I’ve spoken to him several times and he plays it down to a fault, so maybe Palmer tells Allen to play it off as it helps Allen and Palmers business. The opposite is true as well as Palmer among others has Darnold living with Allen. If he has to take credit for Allen, then he would have to take responsibility for Darnold failures although it’s really the Jets failures. Smart move on Palmers part. Im sure he has on the down low guys like Allen or Burrow talking to rookies like Lawrence next year saying, hey take on this personal coach. It’s worth it. Do you guys really think the footwork change which by many smart ex QB’s has said Allen’s best improvement in accuracy is his footwork. That was all Palmer, and Allen’s drive to be the best. Daboll may get the credit, but he didn’t even get to spend time with him this off season. oalmer may have been a mediocre NFL backup QB, but he has turned into one heck of a good AB coach. He’s a smart guy. You can bet he and Daboll talked all off season on Allen’s development.
  17. beast, first agreed. Second, what a bunch of people are not thinking of is the politics. Do you think Cuomo isn’t playing politics to look like the hero allowing fans now that he can find a reason to say yes, and increase votes. I don’t care about that part if it means my local Buffalo buddies can go to a game, the most meaningful game in over 25 years. Third, Bass now knows the winds. I live near Christie, and amongst a couple of topics I asked him was he knew where the winds were coming from, and he and Kelly knew how to throw where which his words was an advantage. Allen must know by now after three years how to 0y different parts of the field. The man has a cannon for arm, but he also knows how to throw where. Pitt, TN, and so on do not know what tow of the three guys we need to know better than anyone (Bojo is the third). The rest are the WR’s. We have a team that can stay home, and practice probably outside, be used to knowing the field, and maybe the Governor gives us 14,000 fans. This team will feed off of that. Oh, and btw, they get to be with their families right after Xmas. Go get em Bills! Besides, don’t you guys want momentum with a team hot at 13-3, rest only for the really injured, and hot hitting playoff teams. Remember what happened when the Colts rested everyone under Dungy for a couple of weeks. Loss, or the Bills last year losing in the Wildcard after sitting everyone in the Jets game. Sit a guy like Diggs if his ankle is really hurting, but if not a ding, but a real injury, I get it. The injury list is minimal right now.
  18. Back at you JB. I respect the Chiefs, but I don’t fear them. Not anymore. Dollars to Donuts (sorry Donuts to easy steal you’re handle on this one), Pitt loses to either the Colts or Browns (they are just not that good, great defense but avg. at best offense). We can win the next two, and if Brown comes back for the Pats, I’m fine with sitting Diggs so we have him to seal it with the Fish. Every media outlet if we finish 13-3 will want us vs. the Chiefs. BTW, please out of respect for the ladies on this board, please don’t use the pornographic slang of the Chiefs name. I know you guys were excited, but we have ladies like the Dallas Cowgirl, and they don’t need to read that, nor any other loyal Bills lady fan on the board. Not calling anyone by name out, but please we are good guys. Sincerely thank you in advance, and yeas at times I get upset about teams like when Aaron Williams was cheap shorter, but we are better than that. All of us.
  19. This was brought up both in his arrow up and down article by Sal, as well as they had a Sunday special show today. He discussed it there as well. Thanks for the article.
  20. Please, Please, Please do. I opened by accident and scanned the first (I don’t know why), and I could care less what an ex patriot has to say. During the broadcast he was very positive about the Bills and Allen.
  21. It’s not the snow, but if you compare Allen’s arm to Mayfield, I’ll take Allen. He may have to throw a little more shallow whoever we play in 45 mph winds, but we ran all over NE when we played in high winds. If Cleveland, they have a better run game, but we have a better defense and passing game. Our secondary is much much better than theirs.
  22. I honestly don’t care as no one concerns me, until we get to the Chiefs. They will be a handful, but I’ve come around to us being able to beat them.
  23. Estro, if they do that, expect lots of blitzes as they have no one to chip block. That’s why most teams don’t even do many four WR sets. We’ve made it work as our WR’s can be very physical. I like Moss in there if for nothing else, but a very good block to give Allen just 1-2 more seconds to hit guys deep. Going five wide means a short pass.
  24. But think about it, Brees has been one of the most underrated QB’s the last 20 years and has never won MVP. It’s too bad as we’ve heard so much about Brady and Manning, amd Brees has far more 70% completion years than those two. All three are HOF’ers. Allen needs to win in the playoffs and everyone will notice.
  25. So far, he’s ranked third behind Mahomes, and Rodgers. Mahomes has the Falcons and Chargers. Rodgers has the Titans (solid opponent), and Bears. Maybe with an outstanding finish for Allen, maybe he climbs to second, but Mahomes is just not going to lose these games. He’s going to get it again.
