  1. St.pete and others. he’s out in another year. Unless the Bucs make the SB this year or next, we only face that team one more time next year. I fully expect fans so I’ll be there (in my kelly bills Jersey or fredex) as I’ve done every 8 years since 93. I may like the Bucs, but my heart is al2ays with the BILLS!
  2. Draconator, you haven’t come across to me like a Pats troll at all. Believe me I would politely let you know as I can see through so many Jets trolls. That doesn’t matter. You’re right. I live in Tampa, and I was in physical pain having to root for this guy as it is the Bucs now 13 year drought rectified. He had a great squad, but that doesn’t dismiss a very good performance for a 43 yr. old. I certainly don’t want him to win it all especially if he plays us, but glad for my friends sake he is part of the relevance of the Bucs again. I just don’t see him repeating the GB performance early in the year. You’re right though. He did well. If Evans is a serious injury, that will hurt them when they get past the Red.....
  3. The one point I agree with is bring Fitz back. By next year he’s 39. Not that Barkley is bad, but Fitz is better in a pinch. No one will ever ever call it a competition with Super Allen.
  4. Spartacus, you’re right that’s not the same, but before our game, he only had 2 INT’s vs. the fumbles and Int’s for Allen. I’m not picking on Allen at all. I’m just saying, it’s way too premature to say he’s a bust. That’s what the whole league said about Allen year 1. That’s the comparison. Some peop,e are jumping to conclusions way too quickly. I’m saying in year 3, we’ll know if we have a real Kelly/Marino competitor. I doubt it as Allen has just too much, but he could develop to a decent QB rival. Im just not quick to make judgements.
  5. Well Jordan Palmer on OBL, just said P. Manning, Brady, Alex Smith and Allen now is a great game manager as that is how you manage a game. That connotation as negative is not accurate. You’re best QB’s know when to push it which Oalmer just said Allen was not a good game manager his first year trying too hard in year 1. Now he knows what to do when and that is the definition of a game manager. That’s different from Captain Checkdown, which is different. I think that’s what you mean. For him as a rookie, that’s better then making tons of terrible mistakes killing games as a rookie. Again not a Tua fan, just give the kid time. Besides Allen will still beat him. He’ll never play to this level.
  6. He has a 64% completion rate and 7-3, but with help from Fitz. Remember Allen didn’t have backup to bail him out, but he did only hit 53%. I wouldn’t write off Tua at this point. At least Allen had OTA’s, and a pre-season. Tua had nothing. Im not. Tua fan, but feel like some are overreacting. How many including a thread from yesterday saying how much it bother him the bashing of Allen. Give Tua a real opportunity. I don’t thin he’ll ever be Allen, but he might be decent of their staff give him three years.
  7. TY. Good point. It’s sad as I just don’t see the issue. There are easy ways to set up safe and strict communications, but appreciate the reminder. If other businesses can easily do it, I don’t get why the NFL can’t, but again, if a policy and didn’t know to be honest so my fault, there has to be consistency.
  8. he’s a good coach. How much you want to bet they house him somewhere where he is on real time, 10 different videos and a direct feed to all his major guys, OC, DC,Line Coach and so on. it’s not like he is not used to super multi tasking.
  9. Bother, no, annoyed at what little my friends don’t know about the bills and the evolution, yes. Its really not a big deal. I hope the longer the nation undervalues the Bills the better.
  10. Don, I’m already sick of this nickname. I know you’re just kidding. Trout, some good points on Phillips from another, but the bottom line is they tested the market and Beane made a business decision. I think they make held onto one or both if they wanted to be here at the right price. I don’t fault either side. Both guys were definitely not worth what they were paid.
  11. I wasn’t crazy about those movies as they became more and more out there with the sequels, but love the reference. Good job Stampede. Not so sure on Mandelorian. Meh.
  12. Unless he edited the title, Simon might not know the Mandalorian is the most popular new show in the Disney Plus app. I’ve never seen it, but my daughter loves it. I bought the app for her to follow. I guess it’s incredibly popular with teens. A spin off of Star Wars. She told me the character looks like Boba Fet, but is a good guy.
  13. It’s almost anticlimactic Daboll will probably end up in LA. If he gets it, I’m happy for him. He’s given us three good years and helped us towards a chance at a championship. I am with the crew that Dorsey hopefully has been groomed for his next step. I don’t see McD blowing up the scheme they’ve designed for Allen and crew.
  14. Lime, I wasn’t referring to Gaine. There are several GM candidates from our administrative staff. I didn’t think he would return given his last bout with the dad, god rest his soul.
  15. My fault Junction. I was shocked, but get the sarcasm. 💪😇. If we had Fitzy, I’d roll with two next year and just Stowe Fromm on the PS. I swear Fitz could pronpbably play for a couple of years even at his age. Besides, talk about the best fan favorite backup to Allen since May God be with You Reich.
  16. cant you just hide you’re sarcasm a little more? Guess not, and love it. Like the commercial, how About NO! No Anthony Lynn, no Chan Gailey, just no. Im going to say what everyone hates to hear if Daboll is promoted, TRUST THE PROCESS!
  17. Guys, first, this is a scared Colts fan base and we’re worried about an old QB, Super Allen. There aren’t more than two other QB’s who can flick a ball at will like Allen (Mahomes and Rodgers, not even Russel has this guys arm strength). First, the weather conditions look decent Sunday, amd remember the first Pats game. High winds meant a better running team as we thought Pats) and us and who won. 190+ yards to the Bills as they made a decision committing to the run. Dont chase every windmill guys. We’ll beat them in rain, wind, snow or a damn hurricane or tornado. Who is the better thrower in the snow? An old guy or the strongest hottest arm in the NFL right now outside of maybe Rodger. Oh and where did Allen play, oh yeah, WYOMING!
  18. Virg., I almost always agree with you 100%, but Sal said it best 5is morning on the pt. After. We were pulling guys left and right, Babe is our 4th WR. No White, Hughes, Beasely (I know injury) main guys coming out at or by the end of the first half. Fins, if you can’t beat our backups, tough cookies. It sucked when we had a beaten up line in 04, and the Stillers beat us with backups, but honestly, we weren’t good enough.
  19. Junction, this isn’t the Rob Johnson/Flutie thing. Allen is the unequivocal starter no matter what. Fitzy is 38 years old brother. By next year 39. Not one guy on this board wants him as a starting QB. He is just simply the best backup QB in the NFL right now. Allen has absolutely nothing to fear at all.
  20. Logic, you beat me to it. I would add it is a two horse race. The Bills Mgmt team could easily be poached to Houston. Then we have a new GM with Watson as QB with Bills ties, and I’m betting it is a horse race between the two. Whether it’s being happy for one of the GM candidates, or just simply Daboll, it is a great compliment to our seniors staff for grooming these guys.
  21. But Mat, don’t forget we stuck with Allen with a 53% completion record, a penchant for fumbling, and running too fast at times. Now he had crap for a line and WR’s. I just think it’s way too early for moving on from a kid who needs development. In retrospect, they would’ve been much better served keeping on a clipboard much longer. I’m the furthest from a Fins fan, but I don’t hate the kid. The real question is do they extend Fitz which almost becomes an impediment to Tua’s development. Tua didn’t have a real off season like the other rookies and was coming back from a catastrophic injury. He now has a real off season, and can get personal coaching. Selfishly, Id love for them to move on from Fitz, we pick him up, amd move on from Barkley. Not that he is bad, but Fitz is better. For the Fish, they invested $235.8 mil. in FA last year, had 11 picks, and has another 10 this year. If Tua make no headway in 2021, ok. Now, they have $ for next year but the cap thing is a ?.
