  1. I like the OP so I’ll be kind. Rumors are just rumors. Most do not come to fruition. There’s no way the Texans would allow any type of trade to one of the best QB’s in the NFL, regardless if he wanted it or not. The ownership knows the allure of one of the best coaching prospects relies on having that QB in place. This isn’t a safety like Jamal Adams (that was a dumb move as well by the Jets). I like the one poster and was spot on it’s possible to see a Stafford type trade.
  2. I’m shocked so many people believe in silliness of a curse. I thought that was reserved for people who get their horoscope.
  3. I did some hw. on him when it was reported he was interviewing. I knew him from Carolina only because I live in one of the NFCS cities so get a lot of news. He was a solid DC. I honestly didn’t remember him as well in Philly as I could care less about the NFC least. I was very hopeful, but was hoping fir an offensive minded coach. In the end, he did the right thing in bringing in an experienced OC in Daboll. FWIW, I don’t remember a previous coach I was excited to see here in two decades. I thought losing Phillips was a mistake, and hoped Chan would be decent.
  4. Don, I get the emotion, but the Bucs are going to destroy Washington. It’s like they received a bye week. I seriously doubt the Bucs when they start facing the big boys will make it to the final dance (Hawks, Packs, Saints). I would’ve added the Rams, but without their QB, they are toast. As far as the term, “afraid”, I’m not afraid of any team no matter the QB. They beat Mahomes and the Chiefs, and that is their biggest test beyond the SB opponent, dare I even think we make it, and I do.
  5. First, I don’t see it. He and Kraft are tight. Consider he will be 69 in April and Pete Carroll turns 70 this summer. George Halas retired at 72 (318 carrier wins), Don Shula at 75 (328 Carter wins and holds the record) BB is known as a football historian and my bet is he is chasing Shula’s record. BB has 280, so can he hold on as he would have to coach into his early to late 70’s. Kraft will be patient, be he grow weary of it in two to three years unless Belichick gets the Pats back on track which is a tall order. He may get pushed by Kraft to take say the President of operations, or the GM role (I know his drafting hasn’t been the best the last 5 years), but he integrally involved in these reponsibilities now. Kraft could want to elevate Josh McDaniels in two to three years. Next year will determine if this was a fluke or the Lats trajectory doesn’t look good going forward. I just know if he has the appetite to rebuild a team, as HC vacancies are usually teams with problems with some exceptions.
  6. GB, well said, although a lot went in at the line of scrimmage. It’s understandable as he just didn’t have the talent around him nor the management and scouting invested to build a solid program. We have all of that now. Gailey had an aptitude for getting the most out of his offensive talent. I don’t see him ending up here, and he is 69. He may just want to call it. I’m sure he’s made more than enough $.
  7. blue on white is always good. Not a fashion critic so if they like blue socks, vs. white whatever. my bad eyes looked like grey facemask. Not a gripe, but those white BP face masks look cool. Maybe someday for all their unis.
  8. Indy 8th in defense (yards) 10th (pts.) To show respect for Indy, Rivers is getting rid of the ball with 1.8 seconds. They are not a push over, and they have a good run game, but we will beat them. Not a good idea to disparage another team. I respect them, but we will beat them. There are only a couple of teams that can beat us. That’s no disrespect to them Ir their fan base.
  9. Wow, another rookie trying to inspire fear in a scenario. Shocker. What a dump by post.
  10. Ding, ding, ding. Cant wait to shut up the Steelers again. I used to like them, but things change. It really doesn’t matter, as whether it’s the Titans or Baltimore if they get the Chiefs, then they beat each other up first, and then whether they win or not, beat in the Chiefs. Perfect for us, but first, beat the Colts, which I’m sure we will. YES It is never a bad time to have two playoff game at home as we stay in a rhythm, ever. 10% is better than 0%. I just feel bad fir the young kids never seeing us at home post season. They are in for a treat.
  11. Game plan for playing the Bills. My advice to Colts players, get you’re vacation plans set in whatever island you’re going to in dealing with the grief of the loss. Colts are a good team, but I don’t see a scenario outside of a ton of turnovers by the Bills on fluke plays that allows them to win. Josh has played great against man coverage, he has demonstrated week in and out he can play zone. Blitz him and he beats it, play back and we overload with WR targets and we beat them there. The only way the win is keeping up scoring. In the AFC, there is only 1 team that can go toe to toe scoring (Chiefs).
  12. That was proven a fake Adam Schefter account so a bogus post. Maybe someone had an idea he was retiring, but it wasn’t retracted.
  13. Bills, I think it’s just semantics. I appreciate you’re remarks, and agree the reference. I see so many people who refer to the game manager as captain checkdown, and have to have a guy open or throws it away. Tyrod could never throw with anticipation and lead a guy. It was fortuitous from a football perspective (not his health as that sucks for him) that Herbert made the field. He’s going to be special. Trent Edwards was the definition of captain checkdown.
  14. Yeah that risk of the lung hanging right below the abdomen. Woof, thanks for the catch. I know a joke. No worries. Talk about a gastric bypass. 😤😂
  15. SB is a push. We can make it, but wouldn’t be upset terribly if we made it to the wire and they win by 3 or 4. I expect more than just winning one game. That is a huge disappointment the way we are playing and the way the Colts are playing if we can’t beat the Titans, Steelers, Browns, or Ravens. We are the better team than all of them. We can certainly stand toe to toe with the Chiefs, but won’t be distraught is if we lose close. If we do lose, my bet is the Chiefs beat whoever is there in Tampa. Either one of us should be able to beat the Packs, Hawks, Saints, or Bucs.
  16. It’s funny, how many pundits are on the Bills bandwagon. Some fir a long time, but Simms, Schein, Cowherd, Rome, most of the NFLR guys, GMFB, Cosell, Sal P. From matchup, Phil Simms, Baldinger, and so on. It’s making it harder and harder week by week for the terds to keep on banging on the Bills. Choke on you’re words boys. I honestly love the idiots keep saying yeah but... it makes them look even more ######ed week by week. That was a very long time ago.
  17. My guess, and again, I’m not against the criticism of Tua, as he is a rookie with a serious hip injury that looks like the experts seeing him needing to improve his hip movement, but they spent $235.8 mil.on free agents, and had 11 picks as they purged good talent (see Tunstill as an example). Now they still have some $ even is a Covid world, amd another 10 picks. All that rebuilding new talent came with no OTA’s, pre-season, etc. Just don’t be surprised if they look better next year when Flores can get them metaphorically rowing together. I’ve said on this board multiple times they would improve during the year. They are not in the Bills stratosphere, nor will they be even next year, but eventually they will improve. Im out. I tried to invest some take a little time before forming an opinion, but people seem pretty invested on him. You’re guys right and no worries. Have fun as nothing said will change until next year.
  18. Donuts, that was on par with a House, Ridgeway comment. Well played my friend. Sharks have a week devoted to him. Stay thirsty my friends. Quenched Saturday at 4:15pm, wait 1:30 pm when we are destroying them.
  19. Fixer, he was the 5th pick, not 3rd, but no big deal. I would add Herbert was the 6th to the Chargers.
  20. Not a mentor, just a nice insurance policy in case we ever need it. No one can ever predict a freak accident. If so, we have a nice guy to maybe close out a game or two at the most. How many people witched we didn’t have a backup to Allen?
  21. He may not mind coming back to his favorite team collecting a clipboard behind a potential future MVP, and having fun with a city who loves him, and he loves it.
