  1. Sorry, just listened so I spoke too soon. That was the most half arsed apology I heard in awhile. That dud is snarky. Loved the guy holding him to the fire. No worries. When Super Allen throws for let’s say 68% next year, and has another 46 TD’s (of course they’ll only say 37 as I guess the 8 rushing and 1 receiving which makes him special doesn’t count), maybe snarky will have to really eat his words. Keep goin SuperAllen. They’ll eat it one day.
  2. It’s getting salty already by Feb. Im glad some guys at least have the stones to change their opinion. I don’t mind the video. I’d love it but not a mod if people would every cap cut or URFA on the main thread. It would be much easier as I know Id check each morning. That’s going to get old fast if there are 20 threads started in the next three weeks whenever they feel someone might be available.
  3. I can see them if they consider valuable at $2.1 mil. We’ll see. It really depends what the Bills think of him juxtaposed to Ford.
  4. IDK, he was highly productive 2014-19. He had injuries so you’d have to know is he really healthy, and what will he cost. I was rooting his horn in August when we didn’t try and pull the trigger in Hooper who went to ATL. Im not against it. Trust Beane and we’ll be fine.
  5. Thx bud. I was hoping the same. I guess it depends on a lot of things. I know Ian, my oldest was on Team FL, and that was reffed well. One of his travel leagues as you know they end up getting noticed the most there, we had fouls that were ridiculous. The worst was me at a medical conference, and he was in Tallahassee, and hit full speed by a kid in the back of the neck just below the helmet. My wife was afraid to call me on it, and the coach who was a great one, threw the towel in on the game as the opposing team was so cheap. That was one of several but he and his little brother were playing 12 mos. a year, so they saw the good and bad. I loved them playing ball (football) and they were good at it, but knew as they aged, they both ended 5’9” and 5’10” so lax made sense for them. Their choices. Impressive you made it to you’re 40’s. Rock on brother.
  6. 29, I agree with just about everything, but my oldest son had 5 concussions from Lax and was. D1 full ride player. He was also a starting QB in some top teams I. FL. Lax is not that easy. My oldest was a middy. My younger was as well ,but fared better. They both played both sports. I’m just telling you when opponents are cheap and give you a shot in the back of the neck lower than the helmet, it’s not that easy. I’m happy for Hogan. It’s certainly not a non contact sport. I’m sure hogan will figure it out. Good for him.
  7. He was a great player for us and Donahoe like other decisions, blew it up. We weren’t that bad in the beginning of the drought. These dingbats made it much worse. Old news, but happy for Jr.
  8. It’s no problem. I posted right after the season a summary of two articles I read and they broke it down about their records. I didn’t have the links at the time. What is significant is we went 6-3 of teams who ended with winning records. That was the most in the NFL. Pitt., and KC had less. For me, SOS is moving target so I’ll read in May what they write after the draft, but keep in perspective so many things change. One example was SF went to the SB the year before, but with all of their injuries they ended up with a losing record. The opposite is true of Miami. 5-11 in 2019, and 10-6 in 20.
  9. Nasty, by the end of the year we were rated as the 15th hardest schedule as things changed. SF with all the injuries, Dolphins better, pats worse, and so on. you were spot on prior to the year at 5th. That’s not to diminish a great year at 13-3. There’s no denying we played extremely well. The upcoming year who knows. So many questions on opponent QBS and teams overall. For example the SB champs Bucs have a ton of URFAs. They won’t be able to keep them all.
  10. Wrong GM’s LA. In Beane we trust. It does concern me on the medical amd psych. Evals. Doctors throughout this country are performing their tasks with more precautions. I know Inigo you said something about April, but this is the most troubling. You get most of what you need by scouting tape more than a 40 time. They are nice to have, but seeing these guys play for two years will tell you more.
  11. Did Beane sound something like this? Reid needs to take out another life insurance policy now! Rockne that is. All kidding aside, nice laugh on a Sunday morning Billieve. Thanks for the chuckle.
  12. I don’t know how you found that one, as I vaguely remember that show. Never watched it when I was little. That breaking bad scene was a classic. All kidding aside, I hope he has fun out there. He was darn good at Lax. My sons loved him as they saw him play when he was younger.
  13. Reddogg, go do a search as I’ve never posted to cut him. Kroft, and one other took a pay cut last year as their leverage position was lower. He’s at $9 mil, and I don’t see another team unless he can prove he is 2019 performance healthy. I would love him back and don’t want to cut him, but a lot of players in 2021 are going to face a reality based on the team to a pay cut. He’s not the only one. we’re all entitled to our opinions, but never said cut him. Cut would be first or cut pay and then restructure to spread out a much lower contract. This team has a lot of players to extend and now we are in the Watt watch. Hard decisions bud. There are going to be losses.
  14. I thought the same Turk, and then at the gym played the replay from Movin the Chains. Pat made a comment from yesterday and said Pitts out as they now have $6 + mil. in dead cap for the pounced retirement and the Ben restructure. He doesn’t think they can do it. Made sense the way he explained. He called the Tampa Fournette pick last summer.
  15. We’re hearing lots of reports, but Ed Werner was just recirculated by WGR as the current four front runners are Pitt., Cleveland, Buff., and TN. Should be interesting as we know they can pull it off if they really wanted and the price was right. All four of these teams are contenders, and what was interesting is one of them was NOT GB. Watt watch is on.
  16. That’s true, but he wants two #1’s doesn’t he? I thought that’s what I read. Carr nor Wentz are worth that price.
  17. Weo, I don’t know, the Colts were 10th in overall offense, 11th passing/game, 11th rushing/game. They also have 8th in defense, 20th against the pass, but 2nd against the run. I am not a huge Wentz fan, but he may need a change in scenery, and Reich might be able to get something out of him. Where the Colts are at is they have a very good team with a good line. If Wentz will ever succeed, it would be there. The Colts need a QB and no way they can more that far north in the draft to get one. So they are left hopefully a trade. Listening to Pat Kirwan the other day, he speculated Brandon Marshall who is known to stretch the truth is off on the Wilson rumors. Pat mentioned they were in the same room for him getting Man of the Year, and he didn’t sense any of these thoughts about wanting out in Seattle. He did say Wilson is probably sick of getting his head knocked in from all the sacks. I don’t see Watson or Wilson going anywhere so you’re left with Wentz. Stafford and Goff are gone. Who’s left? Now, two 2nds seems like a fair deal. Not a thing more.
  18. You had to bring up Vlad, the Iron Sheik, and crew. 🤬🤭 There is a little overreaction to the Chiefs game. Just focus on the pass pro Josh had all year as he had lots of time to throw those nice deep passes we loved this year. I agree with you Hap, we can’t waste $ in FA on a Guard. The draft makes more sense and sometimes you can find a G in the 3rd or 4th rounds. As far as Ford, they never should’ve placed him at Tackle even if they had a need vs. his natural position all the way back to high school at Guard. He can Duke it out with the potential rookie we draft or Boettger. Only the doctors can inform us whether Morse can still go with those concussions.
  19. Urban, welcome to the NFL. That organization supposedly is toxic. One of my closest friends has lived in Jax for 30 years and a number of players over the years live in his neighborhood. Pat’s (my buddy) home is somewhat of a fun home as a lot of people go to their backyard are as they have a pool and grill pit on the weekend evenings. Needless to say there are a few adult beverages consumed. He’s had players over and there were more than a few sideways comments. I don’t know how true that is, but coupled with the public comments by Fournette and Ramsey, it’s possibly true. Meyer has a lot of work to do there, just like Dungy had too fix the dysfunction on the Bucs in the 90’s.
  20. Agreed Joe. Last year there were little bundling of picks league wide due to Covid, and I don’t expect it to change this year. Beane’s going match need/value, which is why it’s more likely we do take a RB in the first as we are at the end of every round. You’re not going to get the best TE, EDGE R, of even CB at 30. You could get one of the best RB’s.
