  1. Royale, You’re most salient point was basically stating do you want a 30 yr. Old RB who is doing well, vs. a 7 times 1000+ yard seasons and 5 pro bowls. In addition, we have a decent RB room and we desperately needed a top flight WR. I’ll take that choice all day long.
  2. To me this is barstool talk and both Mahomes and Allen are two of the best QB’s in the league. Although many respect Reid for his success, McD has been known in this board as controversial (I firmly believe he is the right coach for Buffalo).
  3. I’m happy for the guy. He had a great game especially for a rookie.
  4. Golf, you nailed it. Many have overlooked since 2017 Milano is the best defensive player on the Bills, and just because he breaks a leg or rips his bicep doesn’t mean he’s injury prone. It’s not recurrent knee injuries, but just freak accidents. He plays with aggression and never really talks which is an asset. Please know, I like Williams and would be a starter on another team, but he’s not Milano. Until Milano’s contract is up in 2027, he’ll be our starting WLB. After, Williams can slip into that role.
  5. Savage, I don’t normally do this, but you might be right as Mike Ginetti from. Spotrac stayed with what they’ve paid out, he like Amari may only cost us $800k, but here’s the kicker. We’ll need to pay him and Amari next year hefty salaries, and surrender a 1st and probably GROOT. As much as I think GROOT is great, I’d be nuts not to agree Myles is a life changing DE.
  6. I know we’ll have a good season minus significant injuries which is the same for all teams. With that said, it will be tougher for Lamar when he’s already won MVP twice, and if Henry breaks the rushing record, that’s a tough ask. Josh has a good shot, but win at least two of the three tough outs in KC, SF, and Detroit. ThT plus maybe a 12-5, to 13 win season and Josh may make a serious run. I’d still like Josh rather have a SB win. We finally get a 57 year SB drought off our back.
  7. Listen, I like Dabs especially not only in his prowess, but a nice plus he’s a Frannies guy like me. I agree stick with Brady. If he doesn’t make an impact this year (god I hope not), then Dabs will always be available next year. He wouldn’t go from HC to less than an OC. So to me this means he’ll probably sit out the rest of the year, and with a full year under Brady’s belt, we’ll know if he is the best choice. Let Brady start making an impact with a Cooper weapons offense.
  8. Exactly brown eyed girl. He’s a bust at two organizations and the second is on life support. Why would Beane ever consider him? It makes zero sense.
  9. Turk, I was speaking of Cooper, not Hopkins. Reread my statement. im very excited to see a Cooper, Coleman, Shakir, and Kinkaid passing offense as well as Cook or Davis for running, and short dump off passes.
  10. You beat me to it Turk. A choice between Cooper and Hopkins, I’ll take Hopkins all day. 5 pro bowls, 7 1000+ yard seasons and contributes in just a few days.
  11. The cap USA. Hard cap. You can only restructure so much. We’ve already done that several times, so wait for Von to get back. He’ll miss Seattle, but should play in. Buffalo vs. the Fish. He was effective in the beginning of the year. Some people just think you can make it up on the fly, but there is only so much wiggle room. One area of concern is Rappaport Judy reported KC is under final contractual neg. For Hopkins.
  12. AgIn with what $? We have $2.2 mil of space. We would need 5-10 times that to make a swing at Garrett. Besides, if Cooper develops to what I think we’ll have happen, we’ll need at space next year for a Cooper extension.
  13. His issues was simply inexperience as he missed so much time due to COVID, etc. and then injuries. He’s a beast with a basically perfect RAS score. Our line overall is great. Top 5-8 in the league.
  14. That and a 4th appearance so I love Josh even more, but I’m not going to complain when he has picks when Allen had a lot in the past, and is fine as he always has more TD’s than just about everyone.
  15. SCB, did I miss we have another $50 mil. Lying around as he’s $20+ mil/yr. Amd under contract through 2026, and would command most likely two #1’s. He’s in his 8th year. I get that it’s a hypothetical, but do you check Spotrac, and not only his contract, but his age, and years under contract. Lastly, his age. It’s a good thing to check all those things before considering should We do it. I’ll agree he’s a game wrecker. What actually made a ton of sense is Cooper who costed just over $800 k. He was more than worth the 3rd round pick. We can look in the off season when we have cap savings next year to consider another asset. I just don’t see it this year. If anything before the trade deadline, an economical add, or bringing back Micah if we needed it for the stretch.
  16. Agreed with your points, but would add if Cooper is just getting used to Allen and vise versa. I’m looking forward to seeing him in the Seattle game. They are not world beaters, but a decent team.
  17. Success, I like your posts, but probably a typo. We are actually 5-2. I did check to make sure you posted after the game.
  18. I was going to do chili from my wife as she makes a great red chili, but I have a place near me where. A Buffalonians owns it, and makes a mean Beef on Weck. He uses prime rib so it’s not cheap, but it’s worth it and huge. I always make sure they cut in half as I could never eat the whole thing.
  19. Shaw, I just watch when I want as if a game is not interesting to me like last night, I don’t watch it. To have two games on MNF if the second is at 8:30 is a pain. They are not on the Sunday ticket, as regular tv, you can’t watch split screen. If they made them at 7 and 10 , and the 10 is a west coast game, i truly understand as not everyone gets up at 5am like me on a weekday. West coast people probably love it as they get their 49 ears, Seattle, LA games at 7. Anyway, there’s no point in complaining about it, as it’s not changing.
  20. It’s a moot point until mid 2025. We have the 5th year, and when a healthy Von is back who has looked good as late, we can better assess his worth. Besides, it would be nice to have one nice acquisition when we actually have $.
  21. If they play him, it should be a tune up. Limited snaps and just start creating a rhythm with Allen. Let him really cook when against Seattle. He’s been in a lot of bigger games, and Seattle has seriously come back to earth after 3-0. I agree with the morning guys on WGR, there is a world where we could be 8-2 facing the Chiefs. By then Cooper will be in a nice rhythm with Allen. It’s our best shot against KC and SF.
  22. Ralph was the best thing for Buffalo, even though “he was cheap”. He really tried to create a winning team prior to free agency. I know he became senile in the end, but of the $1.4 billion sale of the team, he split the earnings to Buffalo and Detroit. I may have lived in FL for 30 years, but I’m still a Buffalonians at heart and literally everyone down here knows it. I know we are better off with the Pegulas now, but they’ve received their wish list with the stadium, and maybe no SB, but maybe the draft or other perks. This is 10 year old news so not sure what else to say. I want to idea BUFFALO BILLS fan, not anywhere else. It would crush me. Go Bills, and I liked Sals suggestion this morning. We still have a little $ so his thought was maybe another WR. I’m not opposed to it as we won’t find a K who is that much better than Bass as bad as he’s played. Another upgrade even small, would be better than Hollins, or Samuel at this point. They are doing nothing, and Samuel just isn’t what we thought. I’m included in that premise.
  23. 28 Bills 13 Titans Will Levis has 7 interceptions in only 6 games. He’s good for another against The Bills.
  24. He was a waste of space. He did nothing so don’t want the depth. He saw lots of time on the field, but did literally nothing. He wasn’t expensive so Beane took a shot. It’s a numbers game on a tight cap strapped team.
  25. This makes a lot of sense as we didn’t have the $ or inclination for the Adams contract, but Cooper is relatively cheap, and a year younger. He’s a three time Pro Bowler. Now start using Samuel downfield and with Shakir in the slot, we’re ok with Kinkaid. Cook will be back and Davis proved he’s more than capable as a #2.
