  1. Process, they don’t have the draft capital to pull it off. If any AFCE team could make that kind of trade it would be the Jests or Fins. The fins have the most capital in that their two 1’s and Tua would help the Texans this year. The Jets also have two 1’s, but Darnold I doubt is attractive to the Texans. Now that is assuming the Texans are starting to buckle on a trade, and Watson will agree to either team. I don’t want to see it, but if I’m Watson, I’d go for it on Miami. Nice weather, no state taxes, and a team that spent $235.8 mil in FA last year along with 11 picks. This would be good for the Fins as they still have an additional 8 picks this year. That would be a nightmare. Pats? No way. Besides all Watson needs to do is call Brady. He’d tell him to run the other way. I’ve heard the Pats had the #1 defense in 2019, but one should add we had in the #3 defense that year and #2 in points behind them by 2.1 pts/game. Now we had the 14th defense in 2020 and the Pats were 15th. Things change year to year and we will have we hope a healthy Milano, Edmunds, and Star.
  2. Yeah it’s WTF, I mean WFT. Sounds like a good signing for them. He’s solid, but for those who wanted us to take a run, that’s silly. We already have Diggs. If we don’t have the $ for an Edge Rusher or TE, we’re not going to spend extravagantly on one of the two deepest positions.
  3. MAJ, just getting on here, but you beat me to it. My guess is they extend McKenzie, especially since they let Roberts walk. It’s suggested he might be able to expand somewhat his role on offense. Regarding Diggs, Beasely, Davis, maybe Samuel, and you never know how Hodgins works out this year. We have versatility. Cam has a career 60% completion record for 10 years. BB did what he could do for Cam giving him two taller WR’s, two TE’s, and they already had a solid running game. They may win some games, but they won’t get to a championship. As far as the Pats first game, Allen far outplayed Newton. The game was close because there were 45 mph. Winds so we ran for 194 yards. That was a smart decision by the Bills. On the other hand knowing the conditions it was a mistake by BB dropping 8 back to shut down Allen and company. They made it too easy for us to run the ball. This topic came up on WGR this morning and Sal brought up a good point. He agreed Kelce abused us in 2020, but he also cited several examples of TE’s this past year we kept in check. We also did not have healthy Milano and Edmunds with in front. We don’t know what will happen in the draft. There is a segment on this board that still sees ghosts of the last with NE. That’s ok as they beat us for 20 years. What I see is Brady was more of the impediment and he’s gone. What happened in the second NE game is more telling to me. By no means do I think we are sweeping the East as a guarantee, but I’ll take our chances in all six games. Allen didn’t forget how to throw a ball and neither did Diggs, Beasely and Davis catching one.
  4. I’m happy for him and must be tough playing opposite of Tre. He knows opposing offenses are going to target him the entire game. He’s a decent depth player so for whatever we’re paying him, I’m happy for him.
  5. It was interesting Kirwan mentioned the other day on NFLR responding to a question on the cap by a caller who wanted to exempt QB’s from the cap. He said, first we’re not the NBA. Second, the primary reason the NFL owners like a hard cap is it makes the franchises far more profitable in a sale as they can account for every penny. Zero, if you’re intention is to call Bills fans stupid as they don’t understand the cap, I disagree. This is a smart fan base on this board who’s been through times where we had bad cap Mgmt starting with Butler since FA started. He followed Polian. Now a lot of people fondly remember Butler (god rest his soul who died after he went to SD from cancer) who was able to bring us lots of expensive defensive talent for Wade and we had the best defense in football in the late 90’s. The problem was he also put us in cap hell as a result. We then started our drought with that tool Donahoe. Then there was the 17 year drought having to overpay for talent, ie. Mario Williams. We kept just trying to plug holes vs. a methodical approach and vision like McBeane. In four years this team has made it to the playoffs three times and went to the championship game. That looks to me to be a team who wants to win now and later. They gave up on the last in 19 to the Jets as it didn’t matter playing all backups or they would’ve been 11-5. They follow up with 13-3. Sounds like a good vision to me.
  6. Ford was not terrible last year at G. It was a bad decision in 2019, but out of necessity to play him at RT. He’s a natural G from HS and College. If he underwhelms, Boettger once extended as I haven’t heard an extension yet is his backup.
  7. On that I agree Yo Man. It’s over so no reason to be concerned. Just like in life. Done is done. Moving on. BTW to all especially my Irish friends. Happy St. Patty’s Day!
  8. I know Nucc. They can always go to a player and rework a contract. It just tells me they didn’t have the desire. At worst, they cut and resign lower. They didn’t have an interest. I thought before for cap reasons, but obviously not.
  9. Yolo, they could’ve redone his contract if he agreed to a significant paycut. If stampede is right, then they didn’t see the value even at a lower contract.
  10. Stampede, I’ll defer to you brother as I didn’t hear he wasn’t made a pay cut offer. Probably a sign his injury issues were worse than we thought. I don’t what the Raiders are doing as they are shedding solid O Lineman. That center was very good. Surprised they released him. Thanks Stampede. Appreciate the clarification.
  11. Why didn’t Brown just take this offer with us. Ugghh, unless we didn’t offer at all. We don’t his health details, but if he would be healthy, he would’ve been a better option than Sanders. I don’t see this as an upgrade with Sanders. The truth will come out eventually. If we could’ve had him for $4 mil. There has to be something.
  12. Turk, I’m trying to avoid a Covid thing as the mods were great about reigning it in for the group. I hate seeing a guy I loved growing up, a real hero back then on the field even with that horrible mullet to do dumb things like this one. Even if only recorded half the conversation, it’s common sense people just grab their phones in a heartbeat. My god, it’s been a theme on every police show for years. If any of you like Blue Bloods, they’ve been touting the phone thing forever. When you do something that can be perceived as dumb or mean, you should expect it will be on some social media if you were a media type (celebrity, politician, cop, past athlete, and so on).
  13. He’s ok depth going into his 13th year. Since he’s the 4th WR, it’s fine. Only saved basically $2 mil. from Brown. I haven’t seen the contract, but $6 mil for one year means it’s really $6 mil. For the author on McKenzie, absolutely we need to sign him. He’s not expensive and has value.
  14. Finally saw it. It didn’t work from my phone. Darryl, I loved ya back in the day, but these stories of problems post career suggest he’s really having serious problems. How hard is it to put on a mask and say sorry to an attendant. Drives me nuts when my dad keeps under his nose, and I just say dad you just defeated the point. Protect yourself and others. Great, had a Bills shirt on. Ugghh.
  15. I don’t have a tik tok acct. So if anyone wants to describe great, nor will I.
  16. Wow it’s getting snarky around here. Glad Star is coming back. His loss in 2020 was obvious. As far as the rest, have fun duking it out.
  17. I can see us making a couple of small moves in a few days. $ come down and we pick up a role player or two. If we wanted to do something big, it would’ve happened already.
  18. To me this is a wait and see. What if he really hurt a girl? What if the attorney is trying to fleece him for $? Why Arent the police involved? I have no answers so I’ll wait and let the police and courts work it out.
  19. I know he is a elite Left Tackle, but he also turns 33 this summer. Even if he only gets the guarantee among three years and is 36, that would still be over $18 mil./yr. it doesn’t seem like a good deal for both sides, only the player.
  20. Never happen in division nor does either party have an interest. The team likes Edmunds and Milano. Edmunds looked better in 2019 when Star was in front of him. He’s not the reincarnation of Ray Lewis. He’s a sideline to sideline athletic LB. I’m not getting into this non stop debate. Bottom line, I see Edmunds value, and doesn’t make sense to me going after a very expensive most likely LB in division when we have our two LBers who the team likes. If we could afford a difference making TE or Edge Rusher, yeah, but not a LBer. Have fun with this debate. I’m out.
  21. Wishing him luck. If healthy, he would’ve been good for us.
  22. Buggs Bunny, Who's you’re favorite baseball player, “Ruth” Whats on top of a house “Roof”. I know the older folks remember that one. I loved Buggs as a kid.
  23. Hap man I actually hope you’re right. I’d love just one addition. I’m expecting role players after.
