  1. Speaking of Ertz.... Fergs, always the stir. Love it. As an aside, I’m buying stock in White Castle with KB down there.
  2. For me it’s not one game. The Chiefs is an easy answer. The Titans is a second easy answer after last year given our injuries, and of course the Bucs is the most obvious answers. given all that the Colts, is intriguing kind of like in the playoffs the Browns if we face them. They are ascending and it would be nice t9 see we are ascending faster than those two. This will be interesting.
  3. But I’m given it all I can captain. Scotty, if we don’t have warp drive in two minutes, you’re fired. Ayy Captain, maybe we can get a wee bit more out of her.
  4. Maiden, you might want to consider consolidating you’re thoughts into one post meaning, you’ve multiple times keep responding to yourself. I understand if you’re having a conversation with some of the guys and you bring up new points, that makes sense. I don’t care, it’s just I wanted to read through the thread to hear you out in you’re case, and was looking, wait he’s posting, and then posting again. At a quick glance I thought maybe others are agreeing with you’re points. Anyway, he seems to be a nice young guy, but he has a lot stacked against him. As you mentioned our depth players value is in ST. It’s not like Jones is going to sub in for Moss, Singletary or Breida unless one or multiple are hurt which can happen. He activated for ST, but in an emergency for example, Moss takes one for 7 yards and bangs up his knee. McD has Singletary activated and god forbid two plays later Singletary goes down with an ankle. Well you have a RB who was there for ST that now can get you through the game. I’m not sure why you’re so high on him as I can only remember one play in the pre season two years ago, and after he didn’t even know to run off the field for the extra point. Maybe he’s learned the game, but I haven’t seen extensive interviews of him, or any substantive tape in practice to know if he’s improved. We didn’t activate Yeldon throughout the last two years so they only had two RB’s active plus a ST RB. Why would that change? Not me asking, but what would lead you to believe McD all of a sudden changes his philosophy on offense. He’ll probably be on the IPP again, it’s a nice story, and by next year he either learns the game enough to make the 53 or he received a nice paycheck for three years. If he really wanted to make the active roster, wouldn’t they exhaust every Avenue to get him to be an excellent ST player? Having it’s own thread makes sense, I just think it’s all been said before. If you really have some new info., interviews by the coaches, etc., practice tape, please share it as maybe you are right. I’ve just not seen anything and trust our coaching staff. Maybe he lights it up in all three preseason games and he gets his shot. That’s where he’ll have to prove it.
  5. All kidding aside as we’ve fun with this one, Flutie would’ve won that game. You can hate him, whatever, but our defense was punishing. Ralph made the call we needed a guy with a big arm in that game, even though Flutie won us 10 that season. He would’ve done just enough to win it. The Rams had never faced a defense like us then. We were better than just about any defense we’ve put up since I was a toddler in the mid 70’s. we couldve beat the daylights out in the old rules of Bruce and Holt, amd big old teddy Washington and Paul would’ve pummeled Faulk. ralph screwed that team. NFLR yesterday asked what coach did any team fire that screwed the team. The answer beyond Chandler who would say Lou Saban and he’s right, but Wade. You can say he’s folksy, but he kept the gang together when the stars were getting older. We could’ve had one last ride had it not been for Ralph and the rob don johnson thing. im not saying Flutie was the future as he wasn’t at all, but he could’ve helped in that game.
  6. No but I hear he’s not so serious. But I hear he’s always smiling now.
  7. I have only this one question, and it’s critical to the Bills success... Never gets old.
  8. I think jamarcus russel would be the widest receiver. just sayin.
  9. I would’ve liked Bucs - Cheats. Watch Brady destroy the Cheats and if lucky Mack Jones is in and has the worst rookie opening in the history of the NFL. I’ll take hating with every fiber of my being the Cheats than Brady. How much fun would it be waking up Friday and the Bucs beat the Cheats, 52-3, and not even close after the first series. Brady drives down in 4 minutes, then a pick six and 14-0 by minute 10 of the 1st period. Brady is out by halftime, and the backup keeps scoring. You guys who go to parties have to take a sip of beer every first down for the Bucs. Blaine freakin Gabbert scores 14 pts., then just for fun, Ryan Sinnett for 7, then Kyle freakin Trask for another 7. That’s a home opener I’m open to watching. Puts the whole BB plays chess while everyone else plays checkers to bed!
  10. Not completely true. Kelly had a winning record against NFC teams throughout his tenure. You can either look it up, or watch 30 for 30 who Polian dismayed that myth. I then on a rainy day looked up his record several years ago.
  11. I think I’ve gained 5 lbs. just reading this thread. C Guard, have a ball. My family calls it when I and some of them come home Buffalo Belly, as you’ll feel it for days. I’m glad the guys gave you some of the historic architecture to enjoy as people not from WNY don’t know there is a lot more than pizza, wings, and Canadian beer to enjoy. I hope Canada is more open by then so you can see the falls from the Canadian side. It’s so much better. Just dress really warm as it feels at least 10 degrees colder than the weather in Buffalo due to the mist coming up from the falls from the watch station. It’s cool as it’s usually all iced over where I’m referring so the beam lights hitting the falls reflects back to the area you are viewing it. We’re talking hat, gloves, scarf, heavy clothing etc..
  12. BUT HE WILL TELL YOU SOMTHIN BROTHA.
  13. Bart it’s called a 6’pacjnof extra strength 5 hr. I recommend grape if in the fridge. You’ll be in a coma Friday so forget about putting up the tree and lights, but it’s what we do.
  14. That was because of his gloves. Gotta love those isotoner things.
  15. You didn’t answer the question Jack. 😜
  16. He did slam the table within an hour of his draft selection. I want to see him bench 500lbs. Again in gear. His friends can yell, LETS GO BUFFALO!
  17. If in Southtowns, (good call Kostabi). Hoaks is a staple. It’s across from my old HS, St. Francis (Chris Polian, Brian Daboll, Tom Telesco went there). I couldn’t wait during lent my parents bringing back an extra fish fry Friday nights as we couldn’t eat meat if we didn’t get a Blasdell Za. We did a lot of chores on Fridays during lent to get the Blasdell Za as a treat. The guys are right, the Falls is awesome even in December if they let you by then go to Canada as the colors during Xmas season is great on the falls.
  18. House I used to deliver Blasdell Za to that crap hole in the late 80’s. I think I backed into the wall more than once with my 1979 Ford fairmont. Coastal, there’s a Ted’s in OP as well and my six fingered friend is right. It’s on Southwestern. Right by Nino’s pizza. Another good one. Come on with a jersey and tell them you’re in for a Bills experience and the locals will treat you well in any watering hole. we’re called the Queen City for a reason. The best part of Buffalo is the people. If you’re a regular guy, they’ll love you and treat you well.
  19. Raid that’s funny as I had a kid in flag when my boys were little and the poor kid couldn’t catch, run or pretty much do anything as my guys were 5 and 7. We had to put him at center and have him two sneak calls so he could get the ball. This boys parents would pack donuts in his go bag for the games, And he would have some between every series. I blame the parents for that poor kid. He was destined for diabetes.
  20. If anyone was going to jump the line and stone early, it would be you. If for nothing else, just to annoy in a fun way Chand. 😂🤪🏈
  21. With an antacid, Mighty Taco, Blasdell/Abbott Pizza (they are the same as Harry grabbed the recipe from the Abbott owners 40 years ago, and yes I worked there in college), OV Beer, Beef on Weck has changed over the years, it used to be Schwabbels, but I loved the OP place, and just have fun. These are all crappy things meaning not some of the great nice restaurants we have in Buffalo, but anyone on Yelp can tell you that. You can’t leave Buff., without a Mighty, real Buuf. Pizza slice, and a Canadien beer. If you’re bringing family and it was September I would say Cave of the Winds from the Falls as that is beautiful, but it’s ungodly cold at that point. You’ll have a great time, as the people are the best part of the city, and Wegmans if you resented a place is never bad as they have everything. Have fun and thanks for the service. Oh, don’t forget Ilios and tell Dennis Dipaolo the son and owner you’re a true blue Bills fan. It’s in Blasdell and a staple for the Kelly era guys. Dennis can tell you a lot of stories.
  22. Not that I’ve ever been to one (cough), but Tampa brings a new norm to Gentlemen’s clubs and conveniently all located across from the stadium. I heard the Mons is fun if that’s you’re deal.
  23. Nah, that’s Edmunds. Loved that predator pick with the proposed new helmet from last off season. I honestly would love him to earn that nickname hunting down TE’s and RB’s. We would have GROOT, BOOGIE, and the Predator. Sounds like a fun defense to me.
