  1. I know he does Schein on Sports on Sirius, but miss him hosting the Blitz on NFLR. He was always interesting and predicted properly not just the failures and successes of the Bills, but also several teams. I remember him saying some positive things about Mahomes in 2017 before he took off. It was at the end of the season, and he was saying Reid would help become the next franchise QB. As you guys remember he sat most of 2017, and there wasn’t the love fest like was starting to brew in 2018.
  2. Badol, my point was he was on a bad team for the majority of his tenure. Of course he is not a HOFer, but that is part due to who was throwing him the ball.
  3. WEEK 13 2002, Drew Bledsoe to Eric Moulds for a whoop, caught a tipped ball for a 70 yard TD IN A BLIZZARD in the second half. That was my favorite moment of the drought. A HOF WR if Moulds in his prime was with the real MGK, or JA17 in their prime. We had a number of great players in bad teams, but this guy was a shame he didn’t have better surrounding talent. Another good thread Royale. This is an June excellent thread.
  4. The game ball from September 11th, 1960. It was supposed to be a home game, but played at the Polo Grounds in Manhattan against the New York Titans. The first game of the current Buffalo Bills. A close second would be the first game if the original Buffalo Bills in 1946, and had it not been for George Halas for blocking us in 1949 to the original NFL, we would have a history much longer than the foolish 8. Im guessing no one has that one, but a boy can dream. There are certainly lots of other fun stuff like a piece of the goal post from the Bills/Jets in 88 when I was one of the idiots for all of 7-8 seconds on that post before climbed over and trampled on once pulled off as that was a great personal moment for me seeing us win the East in 88. Thanks for the memory Smerlas. Royal, nice topic bud. I’d love to hear others as it dates some of us. I wasn’t alive in 60, but it would be great to have on the mantle even if to give to my Dad until he passes and then hand it down to my sons at my unfortunate (or to some this board fortunate 🤪🏈) demise. Hopefully that’s a very long time for all of us.
  5. I would hope if the team is to I love other, now that I know he would excuse the absence. I bet he would even probably have a pic of the baby if the team is together as Hughes as a leader on the team. What a change he made over the years since he used to blow up on the field. a little early, but happy daddy day JERRY.
  6. You would. just kidding my west coast friend. I’m not even going down the Ertz road as Im even getting sick of talking about it. I don’t see Hayden Hurst working for a simple reason. It’s a leap thinking drafting Pitts means Hurst is expendable as they just lost Julio. That means 12 and 13 personnel is more viable to ATL. ATL has two TE’s plus a very good WR. Makes sense. He would be a fun add. We added just enough cap space to add a TE. I don’t think it had anything to do with contract extensions. Time will tell.
  7. I’m hoping for Hollister. His completion % is more than 10% higher than Knox, and completed similar yards to Knox. The difference is Hollister was the third in Seattle vs. Knox 1st for us. Im betting there will be from college some synergy with Allen. On defense I believe we are going to see a lot more from Epenesa. I’m guessing it will be like a gas pedal and clutch where Addison gets less and less as the year wears on.
  8. There could be a lot of reasons why Addison, Star, and Hughes are not at OTA’s. Age seems to me to be the biggest corollary. What someone wrote above that due to a longer season in the 17th game, it’s plausible they are staying away for wear and tear concerns. It’s why I don’t get wrapped around the axle of our 30 somethings not there. Morse didn’t even show up until this week. Where the rubber meets the road is the mandatory mini camp coming up. Anyone not in a contract dispute not showing up at that time where they are subject to fines would be a concern. The guys most motivated to be at voluntary OTA’s are guys showing up in a Bills uni for the first time whether an acquisition, a rookie, or an UDFA. The other group are the guys trying to make the team. Leaders like Allen want to be there. The flaw if this is a concern by some of our 30 somethings is if they get hurt on their own. All of them are watching for the outcome on grievance filed by Juwan who now has been picked up by another team. Their CBA is very clear. The point in play is how much instruction did the team give to any player to follow some training regimen and whether the team carries liability. I suspect all of these guys will be there once it is a mandatory camp.
  9. I’m aware, but that assumes these teams finish in the same spot in their respective divisions, and I’m relatively confident we will win the East. This means more than likely as good as KC is as a whole team even with Rodgers, I can see KC maintaining the West. Rodgers would make either team a wildcard contender and yes, it’s possible they could overtake the Chiefs, but as a team KC has more than LVR, or DB.
  10. Bears writer, although I never want to see JA17 hurt, like the MN moron on Diggs, Revenge is best served cold. It is verry (my Spanish roll) cold in Orchard Park in December when Mitch comes in and wins us a few games like May God Be With You Reich did all those years ago (reference to comeback game where he quoted bible vs. after the game) Kwai, thanks for sharing. He’s a Bill now and we’re circling the wagons.
  11. I think the Jets and Texans are available or maybe the Lions. (sad as we were in that class for 17 years)
  12. I know. Look at the bright side, the Broncos have around $31 mil., but the other team, the Raiders speculated that have interest only has $5 mil. We also just faced them so wouldn’t see until the playoffs or not for two more years. The team that just drafted someone, but has $20 mil., and not a sure thing at QB is the Pats. That would be a nightmare. Can you imagine Rodgers in a Pats uniform sitting Mac for two years. Gives me shivers.
  13. Happy for him. I wonder if on NBC nationally or just to that area. If national, I might watch with my sons. They were both lax players and my oldest had a full ride in a D1 school, so spent hundreds of hours on those fields after football fields. Form the good thing about lax is I’m just Dad, not a coach. My boys would teach me what was happening, and they liked it.
  14. Funny how 20 years ago it was always the NFC was the real conference. Notice how 5 of the 7 are AFC teams. I don’t agree with everything from the author, but it’s pretty clear the AFC has the young QB’s who are ascending. The Chargers I’m guessing with the right coach could be a factor in two years. Thanks as always my west coast friend Bruce.
  15. where would than Supra be crambone! Gotta a guitar string nephew.
  16. I agree Yolo. It is the logical option to take his 5th year, and then if he has a good 2021, and 2022, they can leave just a little more time for an extension. The cap will start taking off in 2023, but really 2024 will eclipse what would’ve happened with no pandemic. The contracts will really take off at that point which will be perfect for the age of our starters. The other point to consider is Oliver is only going to have so many sacks and pressures if he’s only in 50% of the time. That’s a cornerstone to McD’s philosophy going back to his Eagles days with Jimmy Johnson (RIP).
  17. Royale, Oliver weighs about 285-90, so if even by the eye test, AJ looks the same, he has gained a few pounds of muscle. I’d love to see what he can do at around 270-75lbs. As I’m betting he can get a good push against the O Line. Do you think the new title for this thread should be Feliciano is the latest, latest to rave about AJ Epenesa. 🏋️‍♀️🏈🤪🤔
  18. Ripster, this happens all the time around the league. It’s not just training camp. He cooled off and I’m sure McD or Daboll talked to him. If Epenesa’s ego is that fragile that he will lose confidence in himself, he doesn’t belong in the NFL. I seriously doubt he cared 20 minutes later.
  19. Greg, thanks fir finding and will watch tonight. I was a little boy, but remember how empassioned my Dad and older brother were watching it.
  20. Chevy, I never saw that bit. Very funny. Corta, let us know when you get to 2017.
  21. Noggin, you’ve become my parents. I knew you’d come through on this one. Bluueee.
  22. Don’t say it, don’t say it, Blueee, Bluee. I loved that line.

  24. Same and I like it that way. My big day of the week is watching my beloved bills on Sunday in the fall.
