  1. Very impressive from a self admitted Fins fan. Protocol, thanks bud for finding for us. He built a nice story on JA17. If TB12 can have his logo, our guy is JA17, JA17. He was great and I even like the thick NYC accent. He’s like Jimmy Two Time. “I get the papes, get the papes”. I just need to know, who is our Nicky the no nose, Pete the killer and so on.
  2. First round, my favorite was my Dad, again pre-internet in the fall of 91 would get all of the articles including Mr. Felsers which was my favorite, and send it down in a tube overnight (on the BN of course, he wasn’t a saint). So Tuesday after work and the gym, I came home to reading all of those articles TBD puts up for us now. My buddy and I shared a townhome for rent sharing, and he used to say, you Buffalo people are a little nuts about you’re Bills. My other bud who was from the northtowns who relocated when I did would beg me to save the articles for him, and he started coming over our house every Tuesday night. Van and Felser were good times. I’m not old enough for the Buffalo Braves stuff, but heard he was awesome calling those games. I can only remember the multi colored ball.
  3. Yep, I think barring injury we should have our best lone with depth. My guess again barring injury we will have our front five set and a solid group of backups. It’s a mistake to not replay why we didn’t have things set. I’m guessing as Don the leaders of our team probably have dissected every last point on scheme and getting the most out of our guys. Last year this team surpassed everyone’s expectations. I challenge anyone who was seriously not high in the sky expectations we were going to finish 13-3 facing the AFCW, NFCW, TN, and Pitt. You’re lying if you said in August 13-3. I don’t remember anyone writing that prediction. Now we face the AFCS, NFCS, KC, and Pitt. We’re battle hardened now, won two playoff games against tough teams, and most likely have a fully functioning offensive line. Why wouldn’t they play even better this year with a QB even more experienced and poised than last year. Lastly, we were solid in pass pro. We can most likely all agree our run blocking was a legit problem. I expect that to improve.
  4. Well written Don. We blew it in our scheme last year. Added to that though was shifting the line until it finally settled down with Feliciano’s return.
  5. He’s feeling a little dangerous. 🤩🦬 Just training throws, but what a nice touch. 14 I say and maybe more for wins. Some might be a little surprised the pretty routes Sanders runs even in his 30’s. I loved John Brown, but if Sanders was just as good as the last two years we are going to have fun this year. Im hoping I’m aiming to shoot the dog in higher than 14. I’ll get insanely exuberant when we start out 4-0 going into the Chiefs game. We win that one and TN the following week and all bets are off. 20-0 BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Thanks my friend. My sons are bills fans, but growing up in Tampa, Bucs fans as well so either will allow me the streaming option. I appreciate it bud.
  7. I loved Van growing up. I only met him once. He was in Larry Felser’s office at the BN when I walked in delivering the inter office mail (yes kids before the internet and yeah late 80’s means I’m old when I was early in college). My dad was in the office as he worked at the BN for 44 years, dear friends with Felser, and acquaintance with Miller. I was able to hang out for a few minutes with my hero (my dad), Van Miller and Larry Felser. It was so much fun as an 18 yr. old taking 5 minutes with our media heroes. Great guy! Thanks Chhandman.
  8. I’d say 9-9 to 9-8, but I’m liking youre prediction much better. Anything that keeps them out of the playoffs, but high enough(8-9) that they draft crappy again.
  9. I like the Allen prediction. We’ll dun Motorin! I hope in 10 years we all say that one and maybe he considers living here post career even if 50% of the time.
  10. We don’t have an MLB or NBA team and history. We had the Braves, but Laettner nor Lanier didn’t play for that team. This doesn’t make any sense. I guess only you’re trying to link where these guys grew up. So if you’re linking where they grew up ok, I understand, then consider these points. Ted Williams home, CA Bill Russell home, Louisiana Tom Brady home, CA Bobby Orr home, Canada I honestly don’t know the correlation. We have two major sports and you know Hasik and MGK (the real one) is PA. Im not trying to give you a hard time, but there is no real correlation between the cities. We’re a small market area that if you want to only count playing here ok, then it would be Kelly, Gilbert, and Bob Macadue. We’ve never had MLB so irrelevant.
  11. Ryan, I am so hopeful they give a fair shot to Antonio Williams, but it was only 1 play for 13 yards. He ran on that one play like exactly what we needed. I commented earlier a serious open competition where he gets a real chance in 3 preseason games may prove very fruitful. I don’t know whether moving forward he can be versatile and play a role in ST as that would certainly help. As far as wins, I’m down with 13-14 and have been for awhile especially because House tells me the Ertz deal is almost done. 🙏🤣🤪🤩🦬🏋️‍♂️ Sorry Chand that was easy. Just a joke joke (even though I do really want him if the right deal for us). A SB appearance I know is not optimal, but that is a significant step as we all know that means we beat KC and the teams before in the playoffs. That ostensibly means we are now the best team in the AFC. I don’t know how that isn’t a success. Don’t get me wrong, I want The crown and I’m definitely 60/40, we can do it. Making the SB and maybe losing in OT is not a horrific ending. It’s certainly better than the mess with the Skins and Cowgirls final. There was no shame in the Giants. That was poor coaching, but a heck of a game.
  12. Was that website in DOS? 😜😇👍🏋️‍♂️🦬 I think even Chandman was young back then. He didn’t yell at people on his lawn until Gregg Williams. 😃 Dang Donahue!
  13. The guy I’m interested seeing in camp is Antonio Williams. He had only 1 run in 2020, but looked impressive. I hope it is really an open competition. Camp can come soon enough.
  14. You know it’s grave robber time when these threads come back up in July each year. The article Hap brings up doesn’t even reference Breida. MJD was a solid RB, but always has strong opinions. I’m not crazy about him, but he is making an obvious point. Our running game needs to improve, but as several have stated it’s more about the line than the backs. Our backs are average. I’m hopeful Breida will be used well. He had relative success in 18 and 19 in SF.
  15. Shredder, Dumb question I know. One of my two sons can do it for me, but they don’t have to get DTV right. Just I pay the $99, use their college email, and I can stream on the iPad as well as them. They would love too, not just for the Bills, but one of my sons likes another team besides the Bills and Bucs. Please confirm my friend. I’ve been since not living in a DTV area for awhile have sucked it up and watched ina bar. I don’t like it as would rather just watch at home. I knew I always liked you motorin. Appreciate it bud. $99 is nothing for the season. Heck I pay that in two to three weeks in a bar.
  16. We’ll, of course GB had to say tea. Luv ya GB. Pip pip.
  17. Bill, I was wondering the same. I know about the college kid option, which I might do as I have two some in college. I have no idea how you would get the Sunday ticket on an iPad without DTV. Victory, bud the guys are right. You asked for help. They’ve offered a number of good ideas, but have asked for you’re location so they can give you advice. It’s only polite to let them know. You know I like you and many of you’re takes, but if you’re going to start a thread, let them help you by telling you’re home area. Mine is in Tampa.
  18. BB is an excellent coach, but you’re not going anywhere without a QB, and BB’s antics aren’t so tolerable when you’re not winning, and you don’t have a top flight QB. Cam is washed up and AL QB’s historically have not panned out in the NFL. It’s funny their other skill players are the best in the NCAA let SEC, but QB, not so much. Jones even if he works out will need a lot of time to develop. BB did the best he could by bolstering and relying on short TE and tall WR passes and a running game. That only allows you to beat average teams. I seriously doubt the Pats will have anything more than a 9-8 season which is perfect. Picking low enough in the draft to not get a superstar and missing another playoff run. It is not a good sign when you’re 1st round WR from last year wants out.
  19. He really can’t as there is no $150k just because I want to. It was only medically verified $350k reasons that would be certified by the league docs. He can retire and I’m not going into as you state the political stuff. He boasted how healthy he is and that is his defense in his own words. whatever he wants to do is fine, but now he has to act how he talked in the last two months. Give up millions or obey the rules you’re own PA and employer agreed. I’ll respect his decision either way. Just can’t have you’re cake and eat it too as our grandmas said.
  20. Without Brady, not as much I’ll take less just to be on the winning team. We’ll see.
  21. Don’t forget I thought M. Williams, James Hardy (RIP), and Maybin we’re going to be AWESOME! Ah, to be young. 🤪🤩🏋️‍♂️🦬
  22. The game is 11/7 so probably in the 80’s and at 1pm so not a lot of shade. If you get the more expensive seats meaning the upper part of the lower deck, the upper deck shades you. I’ve been to several games, usually when the Bills are there, but cant remember the replay videos. If you call Ticketmaster, they might know. It’s right on the river so there should be a slight breeze. A nice hotel to stay at which is in walking distance of the stadium is the Crown Plaza. They have a Ruth’s Chris in the hotel. When you walk across the bridge from the Crosn, there is that area of bars and restaurants so you don’t have to be driving everywhere. I used to manage that area so when I worked with my Jax rep, I always stayed at the Crown.
  23. Vontae, As you’re new at least in posting, you might want to hang back, read the posters and just reply for awhile, as thus was a rookie mistake. Not a big deal, but others who were new made the same mistakes. You certainly won’t be the last.
  24. I guess it depends on you’re expectations of what you think a person at the end of the first and second round would be in the NFL. I’m expecting they grow into significant contributors in the NFL, but every draft is a calculated gamble. Beane has provided for a great deal of competition at this position, and I didn’t see that many other defensive linemen picked after our pics I expect will be incredible in the NFL. I was hoping for at least a couple of high impact contributors, but the chances were better at other positions. Like every year it’s a wait and see.
