  1. SoCal, that sounds like you’re afraid to face the Chiefs in the playoffs. Bud, face the fears head on as Chiefs can’t keep throwing up we can’t beat them in the playoffs. Honestly, what I really want is beating both the Ravens in the divisional RD. and the Chiefs in the AFCCG. Face the fears brother. Then they can’t say, well the ravens crushed us in the regular season, and we swept the Chiefs. We are already a better team than when we faced the Ravens.
  2. Im sorry Gregg, I meant CBS. That network has no control over Fox
  3. Good for him as it is well deserved.
  4. Agreed, and they do that in other cities, but I loved the idea of us being unique. It does make sense the best fan base (Mafia) at the biggest matchup of the year for the NFL would be an anchor for CBS. ITS ALSO WHY ALL OTHER 4 pm games were flexed out to making our game exclusive coverage. This will be so hyped. I hope McD can keep the team front face focused for this week as the media coverage will be overwhelming.
  5. This is a battle for seeding, so barring further injuries, we have a chance. The division is over and don’t want a migraine looking at every possible scenario. They eyeball test works for me. We are far superior to anyone in the East.
  6. Bills 27 Chiefs 24 This will be a tough game, but if we have a productive Cooper, that will mitigate some of it. Knox is fine for a game vs. Kinkaid, lean heavy on the run, and our defense looks like it’s getting healthier. Let’s cross fingers, say thanks to our lucky charms, and maybe we get Milano back for the 9ers. It will great to be 9-2, vs. 9-1 for the Chiefs. Between the Chargers, Browns, Steelers, and Broncos, someone can grip them up. Harbaugh is a great coach, the Broncos are legit, the Browns finally got rid of Watson, and I can’t believe I’m saying it, but the Steelers finally have an offense. I was surprised they beat the Commanders in Washington.
  7. Or WAG, the other possibility is he needs to prove to McBeane he’s worth an extension so goes all out the rest of the year to get a modest extension for maybe three years with year three voidable. That will help us now, and give us time to build more draft WR depth. it would be nice to see a healthy Cooper, Coleman, Shakir, and Kinkaid for SF with Milano back. That’s our playoff run. Wr’s don’t grow on trees. Finding an easy Cooper replacement isn’t that easy based on where we draft, and we still need to fill DE, and on, and on.
  8. Exactly, and that’s why Beane ate so much cap this year ($70 mil.) so we can deal with extensions. It wasn’t some big fee agent acquisition. We have 10 picks next year on the draft. That’s with the trade for Cooper. We can’t afford to lose this synergy on our team on both sides. We have lots of good things coming. Von is back, and contributing, Cooper may be in this week, Coleman will be here after the bye, Milano will be here for SF, so barring a problem with injuries in the KC game, we can be a very strong team. I could only find a 5 minute clip on YouTube, but the general in the Patriot said to Mel Gibson, “Stay the Course”. I trust in Beane.
  9. IDK as Benford wouldn’t start hitting until 2026, whereas Douglas would be 2025. Now Douglas at 30 could accept a 3 year deal with the 3rd voidable. Elam has been doing well, but doesn’t compare to Rasul’s skills. Thats what I would want.
  10. I’ve noticed the same and partially tied to more opportunities. I bet RB’s and TE’s probably want this award more than many. That was like prior to the concussion overwhelming bad press and espn used to do “Jacked Up”. So congrats “Cook is in the kitchen”.
  11. Nice Seinfeld youtube clip on the fire scene with George. caleb will be fine once they pull off the bandage and fire that coach. OC today, HC and probably GM, by the end of the year.
  12. Guys, I’m all for bringing back Dodson, amd would be great depth for Milano/Bernard as Milano will have his window ending for the SF game so he will be active. Dorian Williams is also a natural Will depth for the team. With that said we have $70 mil. In dead cap, and only $1.48 mil. In cap space. This is why I stated in a previous post to the vet minimum as Beane does not want to kick the can down the road again. If Beane can figure it out, sounds great and having a deep LB group is great. We can’t invent cap and it is real. We want enough to extend a bunch of studs as GROOT, Douglas, and Benford’s extensions are coming. I’m sure I’ve forgotten someone. As far as Douglas at 30, he’s been just as effective as last year and not easily replaceable.
  13. So I guess December starts the real Shark Week. This guy is by far my absolute favorite player on defense, and that’s saying a lot with Benford, Douglas, Taron, and Benford. This guy is a 1st team all pro, who is one of the best Wil LBers in the NFL. It’s not even close with Williams. He’s done admirably well, but he’s not Milano. Even if we have to wait out SF, and start for the Lions with a dream of SF will be needed. As long as no other starters get seriously injured, we’ll be walking into the playoffs with one of the best shots in the hunt. Now can we get Cooper this week, Coleman after the bye and Kinkaid hopefully ok this week. It sounded like it wasn’t that serious, but a wait and see.
  14. Only at the vet minimum as a backup. We have Milano sometime after the bye. Not a penny more.
  15. It was blocked and almost ruined the finish to the Bills game as I had my ticket open to the four game option. I swear the entire team eats lucky charms on Gameday. The only we can do as fans is we’re allowed to look ahead as we’re not on the team, but just root for a W this Sunday.
  16. The problem with some is listening or watching the hot take talking heads from for example ESPN, FSN, NBCS, etc. Now, please remember his a broken clock is only right twice a day. The addition of Cooper, and the development of Coleman has helped. Im hopeful Cooper is ready for the Chiefs, and Coleman probably won’t be until SF. By the 49ers or Lions, we’ll have Milano back so humming by that time. I don’t know if we can sweep these three opponents of KC, SF, and Detroit. My hope is at least 2-1, and the Chiefs stop getting lucky breaks with calls. Im not worried about the Rams, Pats twice, and Jests.
  17. You know what, how about we demoralize them with three more TD’s as we’re driving, amd give them nothing. Eat that Indy, and specifically the LB, amd give him a huge fine. One that hurts. Play the video on every sports network for five days straight. Embarrass the NFL for incompetence.
  18. No, they need an immediate ejection, and 15k fine.
  19. Just catching up. That was a BS non fumble by Indy. It doesn’t matter they didn’t score. We shoukdve given Josh the ball on the 50 yard line.
  20. Sooner, exactly. As a parallel, why some talking heads try and make comparisons of athletic young QB’s to Josh is laughable. I just heard this morning Bo Nix being compared to a fledging Allen. My point is the same as Sooner. There’s only one machine gun Kelly (not me), and there is no one like Allen. I almost myself in the gym compared Daniels to a younger Lamar, but that’s not fair to Lamar’s achievements. I quickly corrected myself as each person is unique. I understand Reed’s comments.
  21. That’s the truth brother. There was blame on both sides in the first, but each of us learned our lessons and is a great mom to our three children. My current wife is wonderful. I appreciate you asking. Anyway, have fun at your daughters birthday dinner. If you want a happy wife, don’t keep looking at the scores in the 4pm games. You know the drill.
  22. I wouldn’t get to riled up over Bishop still learning. Someone else wrote correctly, Bernard had a bad rookie year, but was forced into it with injuries. He grew in year 2, just as Bishop may grow in year 2. Hamlin and Rapp are performing at least from PFF analytics towards the top of the league. Why rush it with Bishop?
  23. OP, TBDers quick response. It’s a good idea after that night game to not get behind the wheel, not that it’s ever a good idea. Just have fun and don’t worry about it. You’ll have a blast.
  24. Spikes, you could always, s*$#t, shower, and shave in the am, toss on you’re jersey, and have you’re sport coat and golf shirt ready, so it’s bang, you’re off at 4:15pm, and still make 6pm reservations. One husband and dad to another who’ve always balanced bills fandom, husband and father to make everyone happy. My ex was smart enough to know to never book me for a kids party on Sunday afternoon during the Bills season. My current wife figured that out at the jump.
