  1. Welcome Fitzy. Not even going to grace that idiot regarding the comment. Thankfully we have a lot of guys with class here, but I guess that was his point. I am going to miss Vic. He has always been a straight shooter. Not too high or low.
  2. But what is the best pizza? Wings is easy as almost everyone on the list are awesome.
  3. Well the latest of a million rumors is Philly. Funny they have the least cap of all 32 teams, but NO has proven over and over you can always find it. Outside of Dallas the whole NFC least could use him. Perfect for us to lose him to the NFC and we don’t face the least for two years. Those not respecting his talent is a fools errand. I don’t like his personal choices as how could you, but I respect his abilities.
  4. You have Love to Love. he’s going to report in my eyes. It’s a bunch of posturing. Smart move is make him the highest paid guy this year and let him out and he can pick his team. I don’t see this prima giving up that $ of GB says to him, hey play it out, you can leave with no penalty and we’ll bump you above everyone else. You win, we win, and hey get anotjer SB so you can leave on top. I know we’ll have something to say about that in LA, but speaking simply from GB’s standpoint.
  5. As always Inigo, when you start a thread, you put a lot of work into it so thanks. I believe and if you listen to NFLR many of the pundits (I like this outlet as many if you know as many of the announcers seem to have better knowledge of teams in the NFL vs. ESPN where I swear they just know the headlines) the QB typically makes the WR, not the other way around. Now after listening to this pod cast, it’s ridiculous to compare these two. LJ just has difficulties throwing outside the hashes, and deep. JA excels in both areas. JA’s skills will maintain and probably continue to ascend. LJ is what you have now, and I’m skeptical he will improve even closely to what JA can do.
  6. Weo, I’m sure you know Hap means we would likely face the Chiefs in the playoffs for probably many years, vs. we definitely will face the Fins twice every year, and the Fins are better with Watson. I’m not afraid of a Watson led Fins team, but I would respect their talent. We’ve owned the Dolphins for the Allen years. It will be harder winning against the Dolphins with Watson at the lead. They have a talented team outside of the QB.
  7. My guess is he is going to pay a ridiculous amt. of $ to get out of it, the defendants all of a sudden are silent, and he is suspended for a year. The crazy thing is there are still teams interested in paying for his rights, and waiting for him. Don’t sleep on Miami. I’m hopeful Tua has a great year. I actually hope he does as I don’t want to face Watson for a decade. The rest of the fins team is talented. Better to have that show some talent and they don’t take a huge investment on Watson. Watson bad for us. Tua good. Let them take second place and win 10 games ahead again of the pats. That would be fun, but still maybe a wildcard 1 and done. Ship watson to the nfc somewhere. God knows there WB’s are getting old.
  8. Blasdell Pizzeria is awesome and there is a location on Southwestern about 10 minutes tops. Best pizza subs ever. Lots of other good suggestions. They have great wings, but we’re talking about Buffalo so just about anywhere you go the wings are good.
  9. Retiring doesn’t fix his problem. He can do it to force a trade, but GB has his rights so if he wants to unrefined, GB still has the power over him. Seems silly to me. Im in agreement I’m sick of him. Makes me appreciate Josh that much more. Aaron has been a whiner for a long time.
  10. Mods, a thanks for allowing this thread to remain open as I see the guys trying to keep it to football locker room etc. Ive read about half of them and became bored. Now at least anyone who puts up another tweet etc., you guys can just move it to this one, and be done with it. This should all settle down next week. Go Bills!
  11. Correct and the Saints beat the Bucs twice in season, but now Brees is gone. My point is not the prowess of the Saints, but 5e Bucs just didn’t steamroll everyone last year. The Bears beat the Bucs last year. Nothing is a lock.
  12. My gut is this will calm down in camp. McD will sit these guys down and they will table their public comments. It will go unsaid, but anyone not getting football back on their mind will be let go to a point. Remember Spain. Very different situation as they gave him an extension, tried to show good faith. He didn’t play well in the beginning of the season and I’m sure was talked to on his regression. It didn’t quite have a positive effect so they are benching him. He creates noise in the locker room, so they cut him, but don’t say anything negative about Spain in the media. Regarding this situation, McD gets them back into football. They will get talked to if any player keeps making this a distraction in social media. The next step is they may get less playing time, and finally a consistent pain would be cut. The team will come together and it will be fine. McD is going to lean on Josh to help calm the situation down. What would’ve been nice is if we still had Kyle or E. Woods in the locker room. That would have an immediate impact. it’s not like since the NFL pushed the issue with the recent memo other players on other teams haven’t been vocal.
  13. Just another example I’ve told my sons the avg. IQ is 100. That means half of this world is below it. Make sure you make decisions confirming you’re over it. No banter on sports is worth even getting that upset. You’re at a bar (not that i go to them anymore) and a friendly banter ensues on two teams. It starts getting personal then just excuse yourself, not even worth raising you’re voice.
  14. well I’ve said in 1973 in 14 games OJ ran FOR 148.1 yards per game. The best ever even back in the 12 game era with Jim Brown. OJ as a person is rotten. I think in offense we may be redefining that Best bills offense ever to a guy who wears 17. It will take another decade and consistency, but certainly possible.
  15. Some industries are Mandating vaccination for entry of work. Not just first responders but in medical device sales, biotechnology sales and depending on pharma meaning how close the interaction is to patients they won’t hire you and right in the hr description on hiring practices. Not a law, but they just meaning hospitals or other facilities Barr you unless you show you’re card. I’m not saying right or wrong, Im only saying these are private industries and if it’s right in an hr description, you can bet it’s not against the law. the two coaches fired weren’t smart. If they were top all 22 talent maybe they can just follow the protocols and make their choice. The backups, assistant coaches, and so on, are taking a risk. Most organizations won’t say they were fired because a vacc. Declination, but the message is going to be clear to these guys. Not debating the ethical nature of right or wrong here, just the reality.
  16. Seattle, Rams #1 defense and upgraded whether people want to admit it QB, SF key losses back who went to the SB and were winning for 3 and 1/2 quarters, Rodgers will be back and the WR will settle down, and NO was out when Brees retired. This is far from settled and of the Bucs make the SB great, but then I’m biased as I’ve lived here the last half of my life. As long as we beat the Chiefs and then beat Brady, I could care less. Where I’ll agree is the ascending AFC young QB’s is impressive where the NFC guys are getting older.
  17. Nice positive Hap. Gabe will be a very nice addition. I’d rather for me not compare to anyone other than himself. He’s gained JA’s trust so I expect an increase this year in yards. He will have an increased role. How can you not love the toe taps to the outside, caught ball low to the ground in the end zone, etc. Besides the future given age only is a lock for Diggs and Davis. We can only hope Hodgins asserts himself this year which makes it that much easier to figure out what to do with Beasley and Sanders after this year. Not a lock these two are gone or they will stay and how long. Thats why I’m hopeful on Hodgins and maybe even McKenzie shows a little more this year. Then next year maybe we can work more in our off season on the TE position.
  18. JP, well written. The obvious answers for improvement is defensive line, and it’s not like Beane hasn’t invested lots of resources Star, H Phillips, Oliver, Jefferson, Butler, Addison, Epenesa, Basham, and Rousseau. That’s not even all of them. Not that all have worked out, but Beane keeps swinging. I regretted we didn’t just cut Butler and Addison on top of Jefferson and used the $ for Ngakoue, but it didn’t happen. At this point it’s up to Frazier and McD to coach this unit up and use well. Its the chicken and egg for the O Line vs. RB’s for more effective running production. I agree we don’t need more running plays, we just needed more effective runs when we used that tool. Again, I see this as a coaching and scheme issue. They by mid season had the best five last year so less changes I expect for this year. The LG looks like the only real competition as the other battles on the line are for depth. The top three RB’s will duke it out for the lead position. I’m interested in all three for different reasons. If I were friends with Antonio Williams, I’d implore him to be the best on ST to supplant Jones. It’s not that I don’t like Jones, but he can’t play RB. Williams flashed at RB, so if he were equal to Jones at the 4th RB spot, that’s how he makes the team.
  19. Other in that one can make an argument several of these guys could help in spot duty, but there is always an opportunity cost. Roberts was an excellent returner, but a luxury pick. I think he was offered $2 mil. Or so on another team. The obvious is there was a cap reduction. The whole league is making hard decisions and there were tons of veteran middle of the pack players who were going to either take less or be cut. Beane is leaning on every tool he has to make this team work.
  20. Haze, thank you and if he/she purposefully was texting or emailing while driving, have at it. I’ve also seen persons spill their coffee, get startled and swerve. I’m sure the truth will come out, and if reckless this persons should be prosecuted especially now that is caused a loss of life. That’s horrible so again thank you.
