I’m hopeful between the QB’s who are always over drafted, the five or so OT’s, and all these DE’s we get one of the top CB’s. Once Tre is back and if we trade up a bit, we will complete our team. Depth at G, TE, WR, RB, and Punter will help, but we need a CB improvement over what we had in Wallace. I believe Beane wants speed.

We’ll White may not be there in September, and they did take White in 2017 for McD’s first draft. where else do we have a starting need. Even WR we Have Diggs, Davis, and McKenzie along with Knox and Howard at TE. CB is the one spot we need a starter.

There’s really not many quality vet CB’s left. Haden was good and smart, but he must have lost a step. Beane all but said in the past he wants speed. It’s why he let Wallace go for not much. As much as I’d love for us to trade up, Beane has been known for trading up in the 2nd round. Supposedly there 6 quality CB’s expected to go in RD 1. It will be a fun night in six days. Remember the vet minimum for a 10 yr. Vet is at least $1 mil.

The only variables are the two other AFC teams we face as the Chiefs and Titans this year as well as the Rams for the 17th game.

If we do go for Haden, it won’t be until after the draft. It will be liars month on steroids this next six days.

Regardless of the talent, McD has at one of his core beliefs is to have a rotation. Will Miller get 60-65% vs. 50, probably, but he may be better as the 3rd down guy, wrecking 3rd and long.

It was expected he wouldn’t be there for voluntary workouts. Things will get serious over the summer. My guess is they’ll give him a two year extension voidable after year 1 as he still has a year left as well.

I do too, but Chongman, we play the AFCN, NFCN, Chiefs, Titans, and Rams. That’s a hellova schedule. The good news is if we fare well during the season, we will be incredibly ready for the post season. I expect us to win the division, but it’s a crap shoot whether we go #1. I’m hopeful we go 12-5. It’s unreasonable to think we’ll go 17-0. Not saying you, but J thought we would do better than 11-6 last year. I thought 12-13 wins and we’ll, the Jags, and 50 mph winds happened with the Cheats. Hebert, it’s not just Miller as that is really important, but other factors. Jackson and Settle will only help Oliver And Phillips. The last two will penetrate, but the first two will hold the run in check. With a star CB if that happens will be a major upgrade. We may actually be a true #1 defense with a star CB. We have all the other missing pieces. We don’t play the NFCS, and AFCS this year along with the Redskins. Yeah I don’t care what foolish name they have this year. We have the AFCN, and NFCN, the Titans, Chiefs, and the SB Champs Rams. That’s a heckova schedule.

It’s a pipe dream to think they won’t charge extra for the ticket. They will probably have different packages and even by week or by team. I have Apple TV and Amazon and they will push extra charges.
